Conveniently located place. Used it as a base location to visit Venice Beach and surrounding areas (Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc).
Only reason we gave an overall 4 rating was due to some cleanliness issues (no A/C so ceiling fans are a must to use, but the fan blades had caked on dust, the top of the fridge as well and some towels looked used).
That said, the property manager offered to send someone to clean the fan blades but we opted to do it ourselves.
Still a great stay and a great beach house that I would recommend!

The house worked perfectly for the family event several of us had to attend. It was comfortable and conveniently located.

The property is located close to the beach and close to Abbot Kinney. We found it to be walkable to many places including the Venice Canals and even Santa Monica Pier. Would stay here again.
4.7
A little tight parking in front but once you entered everything was clean and well arranged. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. 5 min walk to Venus beach was nice. Overall great experience with our 5 night stay.
4.7
Lovely 3 bedroom house, a short distance from the beach. The house was clean and well maintained. Would have loved an electric kettle and a couple more mugs, but the old school whistle kettle from the 90s was helpful. Otherwise, pretty much everything was there and in working order. The check in process needs to be refined, as no email was received with the necessary codes. Ended up needing to call.

This was just the right place for me, my brother and his two adult sons for our visit to the Rose Bowl (Go Blue!). Love being close to the ocean and Venice. Our only small snafu was promptly solved by the host.
4.7
Great bungalow 2 blocks from the beach and walking between Venice and Santa Monica. Super fun place for family. Easy kitchen to use or you are close to fun restaurants. Management was easy to interact with. Loved being there. Hope to come back!

Wonderful family trip in this great location with lots of space

The house was very clean, comfortable and modern. It had everything we needed for our stay. Location was close to the beach, and places to eat. Safety was a concern due to the homeless population wondering right by the house, but nobody actually bothered us. Parking was a chore, but doable.

This home has everything you need for an awesome beach getaway in Los Angeles. It's located between Venice and Santa Monica, which makes it minutes away to great restaurants and all sorts of leisure activities. Will definitely stay here with the family again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was great.

A great, clean home with an amazing location. Walk to Venice Beach or Santa Monica pier (for a long walk).

Wonderful location and accommodations! Everything you need and more.
4.7
The property was well cared for, it had ample towels (beach and bath), washer dryer came in very handy. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Venice Beach.
4.7
There were only two things stopping me from giving it a 5 star 1) it lacks a/c but with the cooler nights and the fans we were okay and 2) the parking was tight, right up against the house. The house was totally modern, spacious, great kitchen and surprise, surprise, despite what we had heard of the homeless situation in LA and Venice Beach this is a very tucked away lane street with little pedestrian or vehicular traffic. I was with two young teens (my granddaughters) and always felt safe. The best reference I can give - I would rebook this home the next time in LA. The outside is plain Jane but the inside is just great.
4.7
The house is very nice and well equipped. The only problem for us was the small place to park the car

Location was the best!
Missing amenities you usually expect in a rental like laundry & dish detergent, toilet paper, salt & pepper.

We really enjoyed this house! It was clean and spacious for our family. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was truly super close to the beach and many fantastic Venice restaurants. We loved walking from the house to the Santa Monica Pier. We also easily drove from there to Universal Studios for a day. When we were too tired at night to go out to eat, there were so many options for takeout or delivery. The kitchen has everything you need, and the washer/dryer is great (although needs a deep cleaning). The parking spot is very micro (as described), and it was challenging to find street parking for our second car. It's sad that there are so many unhoused people camping out everywhere you look in the neighborhood. I wish there was more social support for this community. Still, we would consider staying at this home again.

Beach life
This little home was a great place to stay close to Venice Beach. The house has everything you need. Lots of great food options, easy walk to the beach. You can walk 1.5 miles to Santa Monica pier as well. Easy to get around LA from there, such as Universal Studios, etc. If you have more than one car, or your car is not very compact, parking is a challenge. There are also loads of unhoused people setting up camp all around, but that’s to be expected in the area.

This was a great stay! The bungalow style house was in fantastic condition, spotless and in an ideal location just one block from the beach. It is located just on the eastern edge of Venice beach and beginning of Santa Monica. Coffee shops and great food are just two blocks north -easy walking distance to the infamous Rose Cafe among other great eateries.

Reviewer Comments:
We walked everywhere. Great restaurants all around. Walk to shopping. Beach one block away. So close you can go home to use the bathroom. The rooms are big and nice. Wish the furniture was more comfortable but the only time we sat in it was because it was raining. I would rent this house again!

Property was great and it was very close to the beach and other amenities. We didn’t bother renting a car and instead chose to use lyft to get around. There are tons of pay-as-you-go scooters and bikes available to get around the hood, or even over to Santa Monica. They are pretty much anywhere you look. The scooters don’t work on the beach path. The only downside is that there were many homeless people in the immediate vicinity, I didn’t feel threatened at any point, but it took a little getting used to. That’s pretty much the entire LA area so it’s not anything to do with this property, it’s just a thing to be aware of if you’re coming to LA. The other thing to note is that it’s a short ride to the Santa Monica Subway stop, which we found to be the fastest (and cheapest) way to get downtown. It’s not a pleasant as being in a car, but if you hate sitting in traffic - it’s the way to go.
4.7
Close to beach but parts of the surrounding neighborhood a bit sketchy.
