We stayed for two nights for my husband’s 50th birthday, with our children. We have 4 children aged 8-14 and they loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. House was lovely. Very old and new and we loved the little bit of rustic charm, coupled with a great kitchen, fab board games and a dreamy reading room for my early wake ups. We wish we didn’t have to walk through someone’s yard to get to the beach, especially when they had a group of people over. But, we waited and went when we thought it was courteous. Rooms and beds were so comfy. Not sure it was worth the 2k + we paid for two nights, but we made the most of it. Would definitely look at booking through these again.

We had such a great time here. We did experience issues with the hot tub not heating up but they came by to check it out asap. Communication was fast and efficient. The Sauna was gorgeous and really made our stay complete. Cant wait to return!

The house is beautiful and the property manager was very responsive when we needed anything like more towels, etc. Very comfortable property, it is just buggy because of all the shaded trees but nothing that can be done about that.

To say that our stay was a beautiful and memorable experience is an understatement. It was absolutely perfect!
The pictures of the cottage were amazing, but the actual cottage itself was even better; It truly was superb!!! The entire cottage was clean and super spacious. The private pool and hot tub felt like we were in our own private resort.
An extra bonus - was meeting the neighbours. They were so welcoming and very kind! It was truly a blessing and a pleasure to have encounter them.
So thankful and grateful to the host - Bryan and his team - for accommodating all our needs - and for the great hospitality!
Already looking forward to going back!!

Overall, great! The house, the pool, and the hot tub were fantastic. The owner was friendly and helped us a lot. Thank you. The only problem was the beach view. I was surprised to find a neighborhood between the house and the beach, which blocks the view and requires a walk around to get to the beach.

Overally, this place is a really cute, nicely updated home with several amenities. The pool is great; the hot tub is new and clean; the renovations are high-end and super stylish; the closeby town has a few cute local places to eat and drink. I'd definitely stay here again.
In addition to being a great rental, the customer service is second to none. A death in the family caused us to need to cut our trip short by two days. The owners were very responsive and kind, and even refunded the two lost days (although, due to VRBO policy, I'm assuming, the refund was only around $100). We were even greeted by flowers and a sympathy card upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
I recommend this place without hesitation and hope to return one day.

The house was lovely and beautifully remodeled. It was located right next to Lake Eire with beach access and a pool, although we went and it was still chilly but nice to walk on beach then dip in hot tub at night.
Within ~30 minutes to Niagara Falls it was convienant but also gave nice relaxing escape from tourist area and was minutes from border.
David was responsive and great host. House was clean and even better than expected.
Would highly recommend in any season!

We enjoyed our stay and the property was nice, especially the inside, but prospective renters need to know that the property is not truly lakefront. There is beach access and an area of the beach set aside just for renters of this property, but there’s a whole row of houses between this house and the lake. You have to walk between their properties to get to the beach. One of the neighbors couldn’t wait to inform us that we had stepped off the path and that we were walking in her front yard (we were on the sand in front of her house). The rest of the neighbors were really friendly and even invited us to share in their beach bonfire. Others smiled and waved when they saw us. All in all, quite nice but also a lot of money for being “almost lakefront.”

This property has everything you need to relax and unwind, no matter when you visit. Although we were unable to take advantage of the pool due to the time of year, the place did not disappoint.
Spacious is an understatement! There was plenty of room for all of us to kick back and enjoy some down time after a very busy week organizing a DIY wedding. With several spots to curl up and kick back, all bases are covered. The wood fire was a great option to have and Brian was very accommodating, bringing us wood and kindling so that we could enjoy it.
The kitchen, in particular, was stunning and perfect for entertaining family and friends we had invited for a BBQ on one of the days of our stay. The two dishwashers were a great feature and the fresh herbs in the planters on the porch a thoughtful touch.
Would love to come back again some time when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of the outside amenities to their fullest.
We would not hesitate to recommend this place to family groups looking for somewhere to spend quality time together 😊

We had a lovely time at this beautiful spot. There were 2 families with young children.
There were plenty of green space for the children to play outdoors and the beach was a quick walk.
The heated pool was an added bonus.
The house was better than the photos. Bedrooms were large. Living space and kitchen was very spacious!
The hospitality the host provided was superb! They checked in on us and answered any questions we had! They went over and above and we will definitely come back!
