Nice breakfast with homemade pancakes and banitsa. Helpful and friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, clean rooms. Everything available that you need - kitchen, washing machine for a small fee,...
Very narrow hallway up. People were supposed to behave quietly at 11 pm, at one day it was really loud until way past midnight.

Bon accueil; sens de la communauté. Tout était sympa. les chambres étaient propres. et en plein centre ville.

Everything was good but the breakfast is really nice, specially because the pancakes are homemade.
The owners are always there, being nice and trying to make the place organised and clean.
People smoke at the balcony with the door open so it's a bit uncomfortable to stay in the common area cause the place smells tabaco. The smoke comes through the bedrooms windows as well.
For us, non smokers, that's bad.
There we one staff that wasn't very welcoming, but I suppose they are workawayer.
Beds a little noise when the person on the upper bed moves during the night or go up. It's like the whole thing will break in your head.

Easygoing hostel, with a lot of fancy, colourful, cheerful graffitis that make you feel like you keep strolling in the hip Kapana neighborhood even when you are back from your walks. Best asset is definitely the rooftop, from where you can gaze at several highlights of Plovdiv, like the Clock Tower, and some of its hills.

The location is perfect, 200 mts from main pedestrian street, bars and restaurants. 10 minutes walking to Old Town. Clean place, amazing breakfast included, really good wifi. The owner Dimitri and the people that work there are the best. My train was at midnight, I checked out at noon and they kept my luggage the whole day, let me take a shower and even gave me a clean towel to use!!! Big rooms, lockers and curtains in the beds that gave you privacy. Chilling out at the rooftop is a bonus. The atmosphere of the hostel is unique, really good vibes and the best is that one common area makes people become friends instantly. Went there for 2 nights, ended up staying 8!!!

Great hostel, it's simple but has everything you need. It's clean. The dinners for 6lev were great value per money! Very close to Plovdiv main street too. Good wifi (many nomads there). Good kitchen. Hot shower.
The only thing that could be improved is to have more comfortable chairs for those who need to work on the laptop for a long time. The ones in the common area don't have a back and the table is too high.

The staff were very nice and friendly, and clearly did their best although not all were professionals. It’s obviously difficult to find staff in today’s economy, particularly somewhere like Bulgaria where many workers would be leaving for elsewhere in the EU. The man in the orange top (apologies for not knowing the name!) was particularly great. He was kind, helpful and very competent. The location is very central – brief walk to sights, supermarket, restaurants. An excellent breakfast is provided and cheap dinners on offer, which I imagine would be great for young travellers on a budget. The staff cook very well. When I left early I tried to sneak out surreptitiously to avoid hurting the feelings of the really nice staff there at the time.
One of the worst, least hygienic hostels I have ever stayed in (and I’ve backpacked 115 countries, many ‘third world’). It was constantly noisy and pretty disgusting. The ‘showers’ were nozzles above the toilets / in the same room, with no separate cubicle or shower area. You just showered right on the floor. In one bathroom the shower was over the toilet, in the other it was across the bathroom, but the drain was in front of the toilet, so the water crossed the floor and accumulated under the toilet. In the morning the drain was clogged with hair, and the water didn’t drain. The bathroom floor was a lake, complete with soap bubbles, period blood and so forth. It was gross. There was no mop available to mop the floor after use. There was nowhere to put stuff save a few hooks, and the toilet/bathroom floors were fairly permanently wet. A number of times when I went to the bathroom, the toilet had not been flushed. As the bathroom was wet and the mixed dorms had no changing areas or privacy curtains, there was nowhere to get changed. The balcony was full of smokers and the common room floor had food stains.
Dorms had no bed curtains and upper bunks no shelves or lights. There were no lockers. Everyone’s stuff was in a mess on the floor and shelves. It was impossible to sleep during the night with constant noise. A man kept going into the common area and coughing insanely loudly, then going into the bathrooms and loudly retching and vomiting. There were people coming and going from the dorm and hostel during the night, including people who came in loudly talking at about 3am. Someone used the kitchen at about the same time, loudly slamming the microwave door and putting cutlery on the bench. My bed was right next to a bathroom, and not only could you hear everything, including people on the toilet, but the pipes made loud noises when the water was on. I was so wrecked and exhausted the next day after only two hours sleep.

Amazing experience! Stayed only for one night but felt very welcomed there!

Great hanging out and meeting people. Very active staff. Great food. And they help me get my ear pods back after I forgot them there
If anything the rooms can be a bit hot in the winter time...but just means you don't have to wear all clothes to bed and use blankets.
Also the lockers could be a bit better.

Nice and cozy environment…
it was pretty cool, but my bed was producing dramatic sounds on every single movement… seemed like springs were loose… but I enjoyed this sound. I wasn’t sure what my neighbour was thinking… but it wasn’t my business to think what he’s thinking…

The rooms are nice and clean, the common area is spacey and the kitchen is well stocked, there were two bathrooms on my floor which is a big advantage. The house is located perfectly in the center of the city and it has a rooftop terrace bar with a wonderful view. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

The accommodation was very close to the center, it was always very hot with air conditioning, there was breakfast, the staff were very nice. Safe and comfortable. And there’s still a dog there sometimes, and as I love animals, I loved it! I would come back again 🥰🥰 I hope to come back
I don’t have any complaints
