Easy walk to a fishing dock, a public boat launch, and the Branford train station (easy trip to NYC and Boston). 12 minute drive to Yale University. A pull-out queen size sofa bed in the living room. We stopped in Connecticut to explore a bit and visit friends, after a fast pace stay in Boston. Branford is a small town close to several others. The property sits on a quiet street leading to a small beach. So many little extras provided at this place. Spacious dinning area, plenty of living space for family if 4, with adult size boys, fully functional kitchen with coffees teas and a few extra drinks snacks and of course fresh cookies and wine as bonus greetings. Clean, comfortable, so very accommodating!

It is about 100 yards from the beach/park and 1.5 miles from the town center. 10 minutes from New Haven. We had a lot of room with a kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Great overall location.

The property is located very close to the best pizza place i have eaten, since i moved to Florida and the property is close to the beach.

We were only there for 2 nights, but it was perfect for what we needed…. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING you might need at your home away from home. Location is great. Steps to a quaint park and beach. Lovely little town and nice surrounding area. Thank you for letting us stay and we highly recommend it.

Perfect, perfect place. Immaculate, comfortable and thoughtful. The hosts absolutely know the meaning of hospitality, we have never felt more welcome. We loved the cookies and water that were waiting for us upon arrival as well as the thoughtful toiletries available in the bathroom. Excellent location, walking distance to a charming beachfront park and everything else the area has to offer. Thank you so much!

We had booked the place to take my son on college tours. However, we had to leave after just one night and that is my biggest regret. I would have loved to stay longer. This is a lovely little apartment on the first floor (has a cottage like feel). The two words that comes to mind when I think about this property are "charming" and "thoughtful". The decor makes you feel at home immediately. The apartment is stocked with things that you might need. The beds are comfortable and we felt we had everything we needed. The owners live downstairs and are easy to reach. The water is a short walk away and it was so very peaceful here. A tranquil retreat. I would love to go back. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us.

My husband and I, along with our 21-month- old had a great stay. Located a two-minute walk from a public beach, the house is the perfect size for we three. Everything was very clean and neat. We really appreciated the little extras we found but did not expect. Kid's dishes and a toy box

We really liked our stay, the beach is nearby, we would recommend visiting Yale University and the Thimble Islands. Branford is a nice little town with many historical houses. Dana was very welcoming and provided all these little things to feel at home. And we slept wonderful in the comfy beds.

Let's just say that we stayed at a future No Vacancy rental! I'd be really surprised if this place doesn't have 6 month wait list in the near future! This 2nd floor rental was absolutely better then the pictures! Beautifully decorated with beachy themes. We were here for 2 nights and enjoyed both of them. I can't remember a time I've ever stayed somewhere and wasn't worried about if it was clean or comfy enough. The host put a lot of thought into this rental. There is a full kitchen, equipped with Refrigerator, Oven, Microwave, Toaster Oven, Air Fryer, Kuerg, Dishes, Mugs, Glasses, Wine Glasses, Coffee, Tea and little snacks! There is a Huge table that can sit 8, 2 couches and an arm chair. The 2 bedrooms were larger then expected and included air conditioning. The bathroom had everything you forgot to bring including towels! The beach is a short 2 minute walk and the host has some beach gear if you didn't bring your own. There is also off street parking. All in All, this is your next Favorite rental!!

We were very happy with the property. Everything we could have wanted was there, and the hosts were very communicative. It was very close to town, and a very easy walk to a lovely, uncrowned beach. I would highly recommend this rental.

We had a great experience staying at Dana’s apartment! It was immaculate and very cozy. The beds were super comfortable and the place was very well stocked (beach towels, toiletries, extra blankets, etc). There was a bottle of wine and also chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. The best part is the location — one block from a great beach and park! And it is very close to the cool downtown of Branford. We highly recommend Dana’s home and would stay here again.
