About this villa rental
Villa Guzel stands in its own large garden with a good sized family and a separate children's pool. It is situated in a quiet residential area and yet is less than an 8 minute flat walk into the very centre of Dalyan. The spacious interior has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, providing air conditioned accommodation for 8-10 people, including children.
The villa has been built in a modern Turkish style. Electronic air condition has been fitted to all living areas and bedrooms. The ground floor accommodation comprises of an open plan living room/dining room and kitchen, shower room/wc and utility area. On the first floor is the master bedroom with en-suite shower room and two terraces, a second double bedroom with terrace and third double bedroom with terrace, family bathroom with shower and bath.. On the second floor are two twin bedrooms and another shower room, which are ideally suited to children. Floors throughout the property are marble except the bedrooms and bathrooms which are tiled. Outside the villa has a large covered marble terrace providing invaluable shade which is fenced off from the private swimming pool and separate children's splash pool. The swimming pool area has an outside shower and their is also a built in BBQ within the terrace area. The garden is stocked with an abundance of fruit trees including apples, oranges, plums etc . There is a private driveway for parking.
Dalyan is an unspoilt small town situated within a conservation area. The famous Iztuzu Beach with its 5km of soft golden sand is only a short drive away, and can be accessed either via public transport including by a boat taxi. Dalyan provides a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops with the emphasis on families. Although Dalaman International Airport is only 25 minutes away, and therefore ideal for short transfers, guests often comment that they are not aware of its presence.

From start to finish Jacqui was fab with her communications with us. She was honest with her answers to any questions we asked her via email.
We were 21 hours delayed for our flight having been put up in a hotel in Bristol and Jacqui was always on hand (along with Selina the Select rep in Dalyan) via WhatsApp. That was very reassuring!
The transfer arranged was easy, pleasant and there for us straight away. (Selina’s husband) Ditto transfers back. Easy peasy.
The villa exceeded our expectations. It was 10 minutes stroll to Migros and the town centre, and on a quiet residential road. There’s another little supermarket 5 mins walk away too.
The beds were super comfy for our family of four adults with air con and black out curtains in the main bedroom. The villa had literally everything that we could have needed and felt like home from home. The garden is pretty with its main feature being a huge pool. We had use of sunbed towels. There was English TV (to keep up with the Boris debacle!) and the water cooler was a godsend. A quick phone call to Select and more bottles for it were delivered within the hour.
All in all a superb 10 day stay after our long delay. We’ve stayed in Dalyan many times and we all agreed it was probably our best villa that we’ve rented. No hesitations to recommend it whatsoever 😊

Great stay in delightful villa
Our family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 8) loved this villa! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the pool was large and kept very clean and the location was very convenient (5-10 min walk to the centre of town). Communication with Jacqui was excellent - she responded very quickly to any questions we had prior to travelling. This was our first trip to Dalyan and the villa was a perfect base to explore a beautiful area. We had a brilliant time would definitely recommend this 'home from home' villa for other families!

Beautiful villa in great location
Villa Guzel has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Dalyan. I could not think of one item you would need in a home from home that was not there. Booking was simple and Jacqui was very helpful with all enquiries and even arranged our transfers to and from the airport. The pool and outside space is the best we have had in any villa we have stayed in. The location is perfect. In a quiet residential part but close enough for a short stroll into Dalyan centre. Beach towels are provided and even a welcome pack to get you started. The water cooler is a great addition and is easy to get replacement bottles in a very short time.
I would definitely return.

Great base for an even greater holiday!
The Villa is ideal to use as a base for your stay in Dalyan. The pool is a major positive as you can relax and enjoy the times when you just want to sit. The facilities in the Villa are adequate and caters for most needs. Being in the Villa you will experience some of the culture Dalyan has to offer. I would recommend this as an option for families.

Family holiday in Dalyan
Villa was in a great location, not too far from town for walking but cheap in a taxi for those less able. Villa had a number of visitors from cats, chickens and even terrapins. Comfortable, but the two single bedrooms are really only suitable for children.

Great villa in good location
Great villa in a perfect location to reach the shops, restaurants and river. The information that Jacqui, the owner sends you, is perfect so that all the stress is taken out of your visit, especially if she organises the transfers as well. The local people are warm and welcoming and the whole area feels safe and inviting, perfect if you do not want too much noise.
The villa itself is well equipped and really is a home from home. The outside space has a wonderful large veranda perfect for outside dining additionally an amazing barbecue which we made full use of. Lovely pool which was clean and inviting and sun or shade available.
The only points to note with this villa are the upstairs rooms are low ceilinged in most parts, fine for children not great for adults. Additionally you can here the call to prayer, dogs barking and cockerels crowing early in the morning if you sleep with the windows open. This did not detract from our holiday.
I would recommend this villa.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday
We booked this villa last minute and could not have picked better. On arrival the property looked a bit dark due to the trees but we needn't have worried. Once you walk round the back a welcoming sight awaits you!. It is exactly as in the pictures. There are other properties at either side of the villa but the garden is well screened off with trees and shrubs giving plenty of privacy; you do not feel overlooked.
The villa is a large property standing in good sized gardens. It has an extensive terrace area with a table big enough to accommodate all of your guests. There is a build in barbeque which we made good use of.
The pool is a good size thus enabling us to do plenty of swimming and cool off in the extreme Turkish heat. There is even an outside shower. It was kept very clean and the fact that it is gated off from the terrace area makes it ideal for travellers with children. There are ample sunbeds, parasols and shady areas. The pool gets the sun most of the day so was always a pleasant temperature. We even swam in it late at night just to cool off.
The villa itself is well kitted out having everything you could possibly need. The water cooler with a water delivery service was an added bonus. It is a very homely property and we felt privileged to be allowed to stay here. We like to cook in some nights and this was easy to do as so many pots, pans, utensils etc. Everything was of decent quality
The location is spot on. In a quiet neighbourhood within very easy walking distance of Dalyan centre. Literally 5-10 mins depending which side you wanted to be.
We were lucky enough to meet Jacqui and Julian and they are lovely people who want you to get the best out of your holiday. The information they provided was extensive and everything was exactly as described.
We have been to Dalyan on a few occasions. We loved it the first time we went and still love it as much. There is plenty to do if you want active or chilled out. A boat trip is however a must. If you hire a car there are some great places to visit.
All in all a really lovely villa making for a perfect holiday. We would not hesitate to book this property again and truly hope to do so in the very near future. Correspondence with Jacqui before, during and after our stay was like dealing with a family friend. Nothing is too much trouble and she is keen to know your views good or bad.

Fantastic property in great location!
We (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) loved this villa. Excellent standard, facilities and very clean. Top 2 bedrooms probably more suited to kids as set into eaves. Owner couldn't be more helpful. Location far enough away from town centre noise yet only a 10 min walk to most restaurants. Dalyan still a beautiful place with so many things to do for all ages and tastes. Turkey considerably cheaper than Europe too. Would thoroughly recommend.

Perfect holiday
We had 3 generations of family coming together form across the globe. Villa Guzel was perfect for everyone and was the heart of our perfect holiday. The owners have carefully considered everything needed for a smooth and happy holiday. Really helpful throughout the trip, answering questions quickly and providing lots of helpful information.
The Villa was spotless and had everything you'd need for a great holiday. The pool was wonderful, we all spent many hours around/in it. The fence and gate provided peace, knowing the little ones couldn't fall in accidentally. We enjoyed the large table on the veranda, eating our meals together, playing cards and other games on it.
The location is perfect, an easy walk into town where you can then catch a boat or bus to other destinations if needed. No need to hire a car.
Dalyan itself is beautiful, peaceful, so safe, really cheap and has lots to do. The local people are so friendly and love children.
We all had such a great time and want to return. Thank you so much to Jacqui and Julian.

Super family holiday!
This wonderful villa has everything you could possibly want and more! Jacqui was extremely helpful in providing all information and useful advice as well as arranging transfers which went very smoothly. We were holidaying with extended family with ages ranging from 14 to 76 and were a bit concerned that it would be impossible to please us all. However we all had a fabulous time; there really is something for everyone. The teens were happy with the wi-fi at the villa of course! The rest of us were happy just to chill by the lovely pool and catch up on good old fashioned reading! Dalyan is perfect for families and we enjoyed some of the many excursions. Beware the jeep safari if you don't like being continuously soaked- the youngsters loved it! I have to admit to enjoying it too although once was enough! The short walk into town was a bonus, the villa is in an ideal location. I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful villa, we all have wonderful photos and memories of a great family holiday. A Big thank you to Jacqui and Julian for sharing their villa and helping to make our holiday so special.

Great Experience from Start to Finish in all aspec
The villa was clean, well equipped and well situated within easy walking distance of the town. The pool is situated behind the villa making it more private and it was well looked after by Ufuk and Serife. It was in constant use whenever we were 'at home' and greatly enjoyed by us all.
Villa Guzel is good base for all activities - we used Kaunos Tours for most outings, they were very professional, friendly and helpful. We went by boat to the beach, lake, mud baths and sea, with lots of swimming, and also had a Jeep Safari experience into more remote areas and the mountains. We went by the local dolmus bus, from the end of the road, to the Turtle Centre at the other end of the beach. The Golbasi restaurant served a superb breakfast made even better by free transport to and from our villa. We also enjoyed many meals out including at the Tree House, The Blue Crab and the Iz Art Cafe.
We were rowed across the river and took a tractor ride to the Roman ruins at Kaunos.
From start to finish the help and advice from Jacqui and Julian was way beyond the call of duty and the fact that they also arranged our airport transfers was very much appreciated.
We are a family group of ten ranging in age from 3 to 70 and it was universally agreed that we have just had 'the best family holiday ever'. Thank you from the Roberts family.

WOW Fantastic
I decided for the first time to holiday in a villa, I am so happy I chose Villa Guzel, you will want for nothing villa was clean and the (fantastic) pool was cleaned everyday.
There were 5 adults and one 16 month old baby in our party, Childs high chair seat and travel cot supplied. The town has everything you need with fantastic river cruises and riverside restaurants and the Saturday markets have to be experienced. We also tried the Turkish baths, incredibly relaxing and I tried the Turkish barbers for a shave, again please try it an incredibly good experience.
Must mention the fantastic support from Jacqui the owner could not have been more helpful or reassuring.
You get very good value for money in shops, river taxis and the local road taxis. We hope to return again to a beautiful country and the enchanting Villa Guzel.

Fantastic holiday and villa
We were a group of 3 family's who stayed at the villa in July/august 2014. We couldn't fault the villa at all, it was in lovely condition with everything you could possibly wish for. The pool was fantastic and where we spent most of our time playing with the children, the temperature was perfect! We utilised the bbq on a number of occasions and bough our meat from the local butchers.
We would definitely recommend booking a boat tour with the Olive Lounge, we hired the boat privately with a group of 20 and really enjoyed snorkelling all the different bays, the food served on the boat was some of the nicest we had during our time in turkey (and we didn't have a bad meal!)
The villas' location was great, with only a short walk (10mins with a trail of young children) into town where there was an abundance of restaurants to choose from.
Jacqui, the villa owner, was super, we spoke a lot before and after our holiday and she made the daunting thought of bookings a villa somewhere we had never been before easy and enjoyable. She organised the airport transfers and was always happy to answer all of our questions.

Well equipped throughout. Lovely pool and added bonus of children's pool. Pool fenced/gated for safety. Great location only short walk into town-where there are great restaurants, shops etc. owner provided excellent communication throughout booking and organised airport transfers etc. Highly recommend - 5 star and would definitely return.

Perfect holiday - wonderful villa.
From the time of booking right through to the last day our holiday and stay at Villa Guzel was just wonderful. Jacqui made the whole booking process so easy and even arranged our transfers. She was so friendly and helpful which made us feel confident about our booking. Villa Guzel was brilliant. It had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack was a surprise and very useful. Everything was clean and comfortable and that includes the bed which was a great plus. The shower was powerful and we had plenty of hot water. The water cooler was another plus and it was so easy to phone and order the water, which was delivered within half an hour! The outside space was beautiful and the pool wonderful. It is the warmest pool we have had and we have stayed in many villas. It was kept really clean by Ufuk who came each day and we thoroughly enjoyed doing our 50 or more lengths per day. We fell in love with Dalyan and it was a further bonus that the villa was only a 10 minute walk to the centre. We loved eating at Yeners Place and felt we were one of the family. The boat trip to the beach was great and we walked from one end to the other and were rewarded by seeing 2 turtles mating just a few yards off shore. The 12 Islands boat trip was wonderful with some truly amazing scenery. This holiday was certainly one of our best and we cannot wait to go back. The only reason I would not recommend this villa is that I don't want it to be so booked up that we cannot return!!! Dalyan is such a lovely place. It draws you in and remains in your heart long after you return. Villa Guzel is a lovely villa that only enhances your holiday and invites you to return again and again. Jacqui, the owner starts your holiday with brilliant customer service and from then on your experience gets better and better! Thank you Jacqui for letting us share your beautiful villa and for all your help and advice which contributed to making so many wonderful memories. These will be stored in our hearts and taken out to bring us joy on rainy days.

Absolutely loved it!
This was the first time we had visited turkey but it won't be the last, Dalyan is a gem, the local people couldnt be more friendly or helpful. The villa was perfectly situated short walk to town, but your own private haven to relax. The pool was great and one of the warmest pools we have ever used - no sharp intake of breath needed when getting in, the veranda provided plenty of space to relax out of the sun. Everything you could ever need in a home could be found in the villa. Ufuk and his wife kept the villa in perfect condition pool and garden tended to on most days
We had a few problems before travel as my mum and dad were not able to travel due to mr dad having a stroke 4 weeks before departure - Jacqui was amazing nothing was too much trouble and everything they needed for insurance was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
My dad is doing well now and is looking forward to his Dalyan experience next year, but does need downstairs bedroom now.
Thank you Jaqui and Julien for sharing your villa with us we will be returning I am sure. I have already given your villa details to my work colleagues and some of my family members - absolutely loved this holiday.

Perfect Holiday!
Perfect location, perfect villa, perfect weather! The Villa is so well equipped with everything you would possibly need, especially in the kitchen. The pool is a really decent size, fruit trees all over the large garden and enough sun loungers for everyone! The location is great, it is honestly 5- 10 minute walk (on flat ground!) into the town centre, depending on speed and the weather! The locals are so friendly and most shops speak a little English so it's easy to survive. Dalyan itself is not commercialised, there are so many restaurants and shops But check out the villas guest book and information book for recommendations. The owners are very informative before travel and will answer all questions thoroughly. It's so easy if you book their transfers, the driver has your keys so there is no hassle and they are cheaper than anyone we found.

Villa Guzel - Beautiful Villa in Beautiful Dalyan
We opted for Turkey this year, having been rained on in both Venice and the Vendee last summer. We have been to Dalyan before and opted for this due to it's mix of beautiful surroundings, family oriented night life and only a short trip from the airport.
I chose Villa Guzel as in addition to looking lovely, Jacqui was prompt, courteous and informative with her correspondence. It was a great choice; the villa is spacious and fantastically equipt. Having showers with fab pressure, loos that flush properly, a kettle that doesn't take forever to boil, dishwasher and comfy beds may not automatically be on the top of your wish list but really makes a difference. We knew Dalyan so just needed to get the Villa right...it suited our needs perfectly and was spotless on arrival and very well maintained ( villa and garden) during our stay.
The garden and pool area were great; with a larger than average plot. The patio porch is a really decent depth and gives some well needed shade.The pool is wonderfully warm, an added bonus if,like me, you're not that keen on cold water.
The villa is located in a tranquil residential spot, and an easy walk into Dalyan. Our 4 year old managed it there and back every evening no problem. We did the normal tourist things; boat trips, turtle beach, restaurant in the mountains with freezing spring water to jump in....Dalyan is very easy to navigate and you can do as much or little as you chose.
Overall we would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Guzel; great value villa, super people and place.... but you will need to book in good time... enjoy!
