Nothing
Once I got there I noticed mess in the flat, wasn’t clean at all, in the entry on the table was opened can of Pepsi, crumbs in the oven, sticky worktop, doors from cabinets and microwave, dirty shower with hairs inside. Very disappointing.

keuken, balkon, wasmachine, eenpersoonsbedden, parkeren

Nice, comfortable appartmentartment, clean and quiet .. What more you can wish ?
The only minus was that for a 4 members family there isn't enough forks - not 1 for each of us and also chopping board will be good idea, if someone is cooking .. Couldn't find at all.

walking distance to town, spacious apartment.

The apartment was very central, clean and had everything we needed. We booked this at very short notice because of a ferry cancellation and the host was very helpful in allowing us access really quickly., Thanks. I would definitely recommend. The balcony overlooking the river was great.

It was all clean, everything was there and it was very comfy. Also close to pubs and restaurants. Perfect experience, we'd stay here again :)

It was very comfortable and clean. Everything there that you need
The stair case going up to apartment number 5 could do with having a hand rail to hold on to

location was fine.
The owner's attitude inclined to be pedantic and instead of answering simple questions it referred us to the original email he sent with instructions. We're travelling don't have time to read emails.

Perfect place, thank you very much. We even saw a seal in the river from our balcony.
4.1
The apartment was great right on the river, nice balcony, two bedrooms with TV's, lovely kitchen area and sitting area.
The apartment pictures online are not the same now.
The apartment could have done with a good clean, from cobwebs on the ceilings, shower dirty, a lot of dust on skirting boards, top of bed frame and balcony glass covered in dead flies in spider webs.

The apartment was in a central location and overlooked the river ( unfortunately more of a puddle than a river at low tide!).
Lots of free parking 2 minutes walk away.
Apartment airy and fresh. Washing machine useful ( we were half way through a fortnight's holiday). All necessary items provided. 2 bed apartment, just 2 of us - so the spare bedroom was a very useful dumping ground for luggage etc. Equally though ample room for 4.
Would definitely stay here again.
There was a hiccough on arrival about the apartment not actually being ready for us upon arrival at 5.30pm but that was rectified in 45 minutes and didn't affect the rest of our holiday.

Central if you need to be in Wick. Modern fittings and fixtures.
lack of storage in kitchen. cookware too large for 2 people. Frying pan and grill pan had baked on grease. no view to either side of property and no outside space. Musty. No grab bar in shower.

it a lovely property with all mod-cons. close to rail station. pleasant interior with a wonderfully added bonus of a balcony overlooking the river. beds comfortable and nice hot water.
the property was let down but the cleanliness. or lack of. having a balcony is a huge bonus, however it it in desperate need of a clean. indoors was not great for cleanliness either.

Fantastic location right in the middle of Wick. The property was easy to find and we were easily parked close by. The property was spacious and we enjoyed having the amenities of a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment during our stay in Wick. We loved having the balcony to spend our summer evenings after returning from a day of exploring.
We had not received any information regarding how to check in until we had physically arrived at the property and saw a phone number to call. Given the poor phone signal around Wick (and the Highlands in general), we struggled to get in touch with the hosts until we found a spot with decent reception. I would have expected the hosts to have sent us an email with check-in details prior to our arrival (even if on the morning of check-in itself) so that we would not have been caught out. We were booked over a month in advance so they had enough notice that we were coming. This is standard practice elsewhere in my experience across the UK thus far for self-check-ins, so perhaps the hosts could consider changing their practice.

Absolutely nothing to recommend about the property
Foul stench in house made overnight stay extremely unpleasant. All windows in the house had been left wide open prior to our arrival so property would have been very cold had it not been for the heating: the problem was that the heating was excessive and we turned off the radiators but the boiler was still so noisy we feared it may explode. Building renovation work on property had not been completed. Property was 50 paces from a Scottish Water premises which I suspect was a sewage pumping station. I suspect that structural work had ruptured an underground pipe to the pumping station. The smell was not directly from the toilet or sinks of the property: it seemed to come through the floor with absolutely no hint of the smell outside the property. the property only had one window which was immediately adjacent to street pavement overlooking derelict factory workyard which contained a burnt-out car which was used as a dumping ground. There was scaffolding and building waste piled to rear and side so little light / no view from back window. Property backed onto a river and on the other side was a road where local youths riding their motor bikes between where they were congregating at the docks car park and town centre absolutely non-stop until after 2AM. We had packed our bags rang the property owner at 0730. On the phone he denied that there was any problem (the stink was appalling) we told him that we were leaving despite having paid in advance for four nights. We rang and asked for our money back he refused, came to the property but moved us to alternative accommodation which was satisfactory, offered no apology, refused to admit there was a problem and offered no refund. I met and discussed the problem with two Environmental Health Officers from the Highland (Caithness, Sutherland) Environmental Health Services and I will submit a full report to them once I receive/ do not receive a statement of liability and am informed whether a refund is made.

All good according to my colleague who was there for work. He thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
Was all good.
4.1
Overall the apartment was comfortable.
Could not access local TV stations, only streaming services using own account. Plumbing issues with bathroom not draining.
4.1
Fantastic apartment with great location.
The flat had a damp smell throughout and 1 of the single beds was not comfortable.
4.1
We wanted a double bed but the apartment we were allocated had two singles, we rang the host and they swapped us to an apartment with a double bed.
Very early checkout time.

location and facility’s where good with everything you need in the apartment.
We had to call 4 x over an hour to get in touch to check in. Apartment was very dark dull and dirty, didn’t appear to have been hovered or cleaned properly with dirt all over the floors and on worktops, cobwebs on lights, ceilings and windows, windows very dirty, crumbs and dirt on the couch, all of which made us feel uncomfortable. Online pictures misleading as there was no view out onto the river and lighting was very bad in the apartment, wires on the bathroom wall were exposed. There were no heating controls that we were made aware of, when we opened the window we couldn’t sleep with the scaffold outside banging in the wind with a temporary roof membrane flapping in the wind.(would have understood if we had been made aware when booking).

just what we needed. nice location, clean and tidy and spacious

Excellent location within the town, updated facilities, comfortable beds, spacious living room and modern kitchen.
4.1
The location was great, right in the centre of Wick and it was a great size apartment. Lounge was good and the rooms a good size. Welcome instructions were clear and it was easy to find. View of the river was lovety- even saw a seal!
Unfortunately has a leak in the kitchen which took some time to get seen. Lacked the final touches which would make it excellent...it sleeps 5 people but only had 4 mugs and plates. But central to the town so seating out was easy.
4.1
the size was good. kitchen facilities and sky tv were a bonus
there was a small blood stain on the bed sheets, luckily I had twin beds so slept in the second bed. the oven was completely unusable as it was full of grease and burnt fat. this ruined the positives of the location and size. I didn’t receive check in instructions ahead of time - I ended up stood outside in the dark with my luggage trying to get hold of the reception - it took 4 calls to reach them, as a solo traveller this is less than ideal.
4.1
The flat was beautifully situated on the river and surpassed our expectations. It was huge! The kitchen was very well stocked and we easily could have stayed for longer. Felt like home from home. The living room had reclining sofas and there were games for us if we didn’t fancy going out.
As it was self check in and out, it was super simple to let yourself in and out as you pleased and enjoy your holiday.
I really think it’s a cracking little stay and value for money. Some of the decor could do with a little attention but it’s not significant enough to put you off. It is in a town location so if your looking for remote and rural I would recommend you look elsewhere.
4.1
the property was nice but needs some TLC .
the smell from the drains was sickening so we kept the bathroom door closed and used a lot of air freshers the smell was ridiculous if we were staying anymore than two night we would have wanted another apartment.
4.1
Location to the town, easy walking distance. parking quite near.
Shower was filthy, dirty soap scum round the plug hole and hair on the floor of the cubicle. Had to wash it out first. Can't sit outside as it seems to be next doors garden you overlook and no sitting out the front as it's on a road so felt a bit confined so that was a dissapointment. It was a hot day and the windows only open a small bit.Nice size apartment for a couple for a night.
