Family weekend for Christmas activities around Scottsdale- Embassy Suites was decorated for the holidays and the service and accommodations were wonderful!

First night was noisy and no heating. I asked for a different room and was told it was fully booked. Not true as there were many empty rooms by me that i could see through the entrance windows. I switched room the following day and the heating wouldn’t work. Call maintenance, super nice guy came twice and try to fix it but nothing. Mold in the vents and the bathroom, horrible condition. Hair everywhere, obviously not well cleaned. Never going back. Maintenance guy and Sylvia at reception were the only good thing about the property.

This place has the amenities you want. Free cooked breakfast and parking. It has a daily free happy hour never seen anywhere else. A nice pool and large fitness center. Its location is near all the great Scottsdale restaurants. What else could you ask for

The hotel was extremely dirty on the stairwell and walkway to the room. The room was renovated but still had a smell to it that reeked of old cigarettes. I got up in the middle of the night and a cockroach was perched on the toilet. When I che led out at 6 am, the clerk never asked me how my stay was. This was an aweful experience.

Where do I start. My heater was broken for two days. When I asked them to fix it they lied and said the engineer was right in front of them and was walking my way. After several calls and nearly an hour later, an engineer showed up. While he was there they tried to radio to him a cover story on why he was late. I could hear it. The engineer was mortified.
But also, the something broke in or above my room that sounded like a B17 bomber was in the room. The whole room shook. I have a recording of it. It’s horrible. I thought the room was going to explode.
Of course, the restaurant was locked during its dinner hours. We all waited outside, while someone showed up 15 minutes late with no sense of urgency.
When I brought this up to the manager (well first I had to wait at the unmanned front desk) she had little concern, cut me off and said there is nothing they can do except shop me across town.
Don’t go here. Or do if you want. The management and staff won’t care either way.

Room needs to be remodeled, sink was clogged, carpet was wrinkled and paint was scratched. Landscaping needs some love.

I am not a fan of reviews that complain about check in staff, however the gal whi checked me in was rude and nasty. I arrived early and had called to see if I could check in early. Was told no problem it would be a $50 charge. When I arrived the gal at front desk said it was $90. She asked who said $50. I of course didn't realize I needed to have so much information. She eventually agreed to $50 but, with extreme attitude. The hotel is nice with an unbelievable breakfast included.

Loved the location and the Hotel but we had no soap in our room and had to call down twice to get it. The servers at restaurant and bar seemed overwhelmed at times.

A good sized suite ideal for our needs. Warm welcome from all staff we met. Bonus little drinks reception early evening us a nice touch. Good location. A good short stay

The staff was very friendly and constantly working. Cleaning rooms, public spaces, dining areas and pool. Our room was fresher every day of the 4 days we were there. We enjoyed using both pools and one of the pools is open 24hrs. The complementary breakfast is always great and the staff cooking and restocking was always very friendly. Another amazing perk was the evening cocktail hour and snack. Over all this hotel although a tiny bit dated on the outside is still a wonderful place to stay.

Appreciated the happy hour and breakfast but
disliked the construction noise, dirt, and detours. We only had intermittent internet, which was a hassle.

The free breakfast was excellent. We like what you had to offer and it was delicious. The room was a surprise of good and not so good. Wonderful layout. Amenities very good. We loved two tv’s in the room. Comfortable bed. I noticed that the rooms were in need of painting. The air conditioner leaked water and made a puddle. Gnats flew everywhere in the room. The toilet continuously ran and it was noisy. Couldn’t find ice maker near # 108. Mostly all staff were helpful.

Staff was very helpful with things for the room, directions, etc. The full breakfast had a made to order omelet/egg station as well as a huge Buffett selection including an oatmeal bar, large variety of fresh fruits both cut up and whole, cereal station, muffins, bagels, bread, hot pancakes or French toast, bacon, sausage, crispy potatoes and lots of drinks variety. The evening snacks were beyond what I expected. Variety of cheeses, crackers, fresh veggie trays, two drinks per person (with alcohol) soda, etc. we arrived very tired and didn’t want to go out and that was a nice supply. We found out that they do have a restaurant on site as well. The breakfast and afternoon were free which really is a great money savings. They also give you two bottles of water free per day. Loved the built in bottles of bathroom products body wash, shampoo and condition, lotion by the sink. No liquid soap by the sink only negative. They did include a small bar of hand soap. Wardrobe even had robes, although we didn’t use those.
Two very spacious rooms with a TV in each. The kitchenette had a refrigerator ( didn’t have a freezer but there was a block of frozen ice in the back, fridge wasn’t very cold and I didn’t see a way to turn it up. Might have been encased in ice. Should have asked to fix Pizza left from last guests inside . I like to bring freezer packs and refreeze every night so as to keep leftovers and drinks on ice on the road to bring back snack later.Great hotel overall A!

This is beautiful place however it is under construction, when i arrived the man at the desk was saying he can’t find my reservation trying to make me pay again, I was told because i booked on Expedia, sometimes I don’t have the choice of picking my room at the end. I was to apologize for this.

The Hotel has been under new management. The door key battery had to be replaced, keys would not work (twice). Then the safe was out of order and the whole thing had to be removed from the wall and replaced with a new one. Then the coffee maker was broken and had to be replaced. The only gave us one bar of soap in the bathroom and had to ask for one for the tub. Other people we talked to had mold in their air conditioner vents. I was glad that the maids were back to clean our rooms on a daily bases so that we could get fresh towels instead of having to get them at the front desk.

There were pro's and con's to this property. When booking, I didn't realize the rooms all had doors you access from outside (from the pictures it looked like the rooms had balconies) It makes me feel safer to be in an enclosed hotel. There was also construction going on and the one pool was closed. Due to the construction-I assume-our shower did not get hot. Just lukewarm.
The staff was very nice and they did have a lovely free breakfast every day with made to order omelets, bagels, fruit, oatmeal and even pancakes/french toast that rotated. Definitely happy with the breakfast selection. They also had a reception every night with free drinks and assorted cheeses, crackers and chips etc.
They have a shuttle which will take you anywhere within three miles of the hotel which is a plus.

Just a quick stop in Scottsdale for a couple of days and the hotel served its purpose for us. The room was much larger than we had anticipated. The morning breakfast buffet that was offered served a wide variety of food.

The hotel is very run down. One of the pools is under construction. One of the elevators was broken. There was no hot water. They said it was repaired but in the morning there was still no hot water. The area around the hotel did not feel safe.

There was no EV charging station as stated. I was not told about the promos that came with paying the 25.00 a day resort fee.

Three non working elevators and the one that did work reeked of a strong mildew and urine smell on Friday night at check-in and still had the same nauseating over-powering odors at check-out on Saturday at noon. The room carpeting had many severe stains!! Shower and Jacuzzi tub worked fine. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean!! This stay was very overpriced at $240+ for one night considering the condition of the room and hotel facilities!!

Great breakfast worth staying. Just had an inconvenience. The A/C wasn't working. They had to change my room to a different room.

Terrell King was a good guy! Although my review doesn’t have anything against him by any means. My stay the Embassy Suites Resort was extremely far from pleasant, honestly not even sure where to start. First day was not thrilled about how the actual hotel looked nothing like the photos online that motivated me to book! The pool was under construction, the elevators were disgustingly filthy that also held a faint smell of urine. The resort driver not sure of his name older guy with glasses was pretty rude and snappy for absolutely 0 reason at all, housekeeping didn’t come my first night and my room was remained unclean until having to ask the front desk to have arrangements for house keeping to clean the room. Between all of these things I just did not have a good stay at this “resort” as I’d look forward to having! Not positive if I’d recommend this place to stay to anyone I know.
