This is in the center of Hollywood beach. The hotel is undergoing construction but it doesn’t affect your stay at all. Our room did have a strange smell but was very clean.

Very basic hotel and service. Cleaning the rooms on a daily basis was apparently something that had to be requested! Lack of style in the rooms and public areas, and a bright corridor light coming through the ill fitting bedroom door at night.

Great location, right on the beach, steps to the water. Lots of little shops and restaurants on the broadwalk (yes, broadwalk). Bed is comfortable, as was the other furniture in the room. Window glass is a little dirty, seems like maybe double pane and it's in between, so that could use some attention. Still some work going on at the hotel, but quiet while we were here. Overall a nice stay in a nice location.

after seeing all the reviews in the 8.4 reading that hotel.com gave… I was left very disappointed… The room itself is very clean. The hotel is very clean however, that’s probably one of the only upsides the walls are thin here. Everybody walk past the door, left me and my wife constantly waking up at all hours of the early morning there is no bottle water on the property at all the front desk person said two streets up… Not exactly what you want to hear at 10 o’clock at night. Another downfall that I found was the shower took over 30 minutes to get comfortably hot. I’m so happy that I only had to stay one night in this place. I guess it’s true what they say get what you pay for

Amazing location, right on the beach! Easy access to beach towels and beach chairs. The room looked clean at first glance, but really needed a good dusting and random streaks and hand prints on the wall.

the hotel stay was pleasant and nice location on the beach! parking was a little confusing and hard to load and unload at the hotel. Walls are very thin so please if you are vacationing adult style keep that in mind while at the property

We had a good trip. The staff was wonderful and kind and the place is clean and I'm a wonderful location. They had 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella in every room to use for our stay and we loved that. They were doing construction the entire time we were there and the beds are terrible. I ended up at a chiropractor and needed a massage to make it through the week. Not sure we will pick this one again because of that. Also the rooms are kind of small and the only mirror is in the bathroom. So close to everything though, so we just didn't spend much time in the room.

Oceanfront location on the Broadwalk, with convenient parking. Good beach chairs and umbrella provided, along with beach towels. Lots of walkable dining options and bicycle rentals nearby. Nicely remodeled old building.

We’ve stayed at the Hotel Sheldon a few times. I guess the fact that we keep coming back says it all. This is a smaller hotel but has all you can find in a larger hotel. It is impeccably clean! We always find the staff to be very pleasant - always smile and offer a brief greeting. Then there’s location, location, location! The Hotel Sheldon does not disappoint!

Was woken up each morning by very loud construction inside the hotel. We weren’t given a warning of construction during check in or on Expedia while booking. Made for a less than relaxing vacation.

I liked everything. View is nothing short of spectacular. The only thing I could say I didn't like is that I was promised by one person on check in that I could have a late check out time of 12 pm instead of the stated time of 11 AM, but when I called that morning to confirm my 12 PM late check out, the person at the desk was a different person than the person who was there when I checked in and THAT person told me that the person who told me I could have a late check out time of 12 PM was mistaken and I had to be out by 11. Since it was already 11 when I called, she allowed me a late check out of 11:30, which I appreciated but barely made it out on time. Other than that everyone was very nice and I would highly recommend this hotel as being the best location and the best deal on the beach.

Cute little beachfront property. Right next door to Margaritaville however noise is not an issue. Love that you are literally a few steps from the actual water. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were super clean however very humid. Loved the microwave and mini fridge in room! Front desk could be a bit nicer. Hotel provides a beach umbrella and two chairs - that is great! Overall, I would go back and do recommend.

I had problems with the 1st woman I dealt with. She lied to me. But Teresa was great! Definitely the only front desk woman I dealt with in Hollywood this week who was good at her job. I didn't sleep much though because of noise in the halls until past 2 am, and I was next to the elevator. The rooms are tiny. You're paying for location with this place

First off if you are looking for prime location (on a budget) This is It! We were allowed to check in 2hrs earlier than expected. The room we had oceanfront w/Kingbed, it was really oceanfront and was very clean. The way pressure was great! Water was hot all the time just a FYI there is NO vanity space, there is NOT a full size mirror in the room!!!! Don’t understand for the life of me why there isn’t a full size mirror in the room but instead in the elevator😩😩 so I did an outfit check daily in the elevator Lol! Like I said the location is great, next door is MargaritaVille which is open to the public until 12am Nice! The hotel itself is not new of course so don’t expect a grand entrance at all. The front desk is available all night, it’s dark and gloomy at night FYI so not really inviting when you walk in, no smell, odors or bugs, I saw not 1 bug! Oh the parking I would recommend using there parking option $22/day in an open parking lot (and yes the tow trucks are active all day/night) The linen could be updated but again you are on vacation not there to sleep but to “Change clothes & Go” Enjoyed my stay!

I have to say it must be one of the best hotel here, rooms are big, can’t beat the location, steps to the beach and restaurant. Some comment complains about the bed is hard, but I personally like hard bed so is perfect for me. Room service does a very good cleaning job everyday even we bring in sand to the room everyday. Will come back again
