The reason I gave a 4 overall rating is because a hotel this nice should provide shuttle service to/from the airport.

Two star hotel with five star price
2.0 / 5.0
The view and the location are the only positives of this hotel.
What the photos don’t show is how dated this place is or that it smells like musty old carpet and stale smoke that they attempt to cover up with overly strong plug ins in the hallways. It smells like a smoker with too much perfume.
The bed was too soft for two people to share. I spent the whole night tipped sideways like sharing an air mattress with a heavier person. Pillows are lumpy when you lay down and flat as a pancake by morning.
When I booked this place there was a restaurant advertised but no such thing when we checked in. The room was mostly clean but there was quite a bit of hair in the corners when we checked in. On our last morning the cleaning lady barged right into our room without knocking, several hours before our checkout time.
Front desk staff was polite when we checked in but on second night the front desk girl was eating takeout with her friends at the tables in the lobby when we stopped by to buy bottled waters. This is not the kind of facility or service I would expect from Marriott or Sheraton. In fact for the same $500/night we stayed in much nicer hotels on the Vegas strip.
I get that Juneau is remote and a tourist town but this is ridiculous. We would not stay here again.

Great location. Perfect for walking everywhere in downtown Juneau. The staff was friendly, the rooms were big, clean and bright. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was clean. The mattresses were clean. The only thing that would have made the room AMAZING would have been a room at the front of the hotel so that we could see the port and harbor and a little more night sky. As is, the room at the back of the hotel faced a nice bunch of trees and some houses, and a slightly noisy air conditioner. And that was fine, but a little disappointing given the amazing scenery out the front windows. We stayed for a week. The staff had my room number and promised to call me day or night if a bear wandered by the hotel, but sadly, no bears.

For Juneau this property is in a great location with great staff.

Martha at front desk is amazing.

Good proximity to downtown restaurants and activities. Concierge service for tram tickets. Free parking. Clean. Refrigerator.

4 star price with 1 star service and property. Check in staff not helpful. Need better system for check in. Room tired and dated. Some garbage on floor from prior guest.

Large window overlooking the port, was a wonderful view of float planes taking off, and watching the cruise ships.

Property is tired. Staff was friendly and the room was clean but dated.
4.0 / 5.0
We stayed here because it was directly across the street from our cruise embarkation. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. We stayed one night on either end of our cruise. The first night there was a problem with the boiler, so the shower was luke warm at best. Second night it was rather warm in the room and there is no AC. Sleeping with the window open made it bearable.

The hotel room was filthly and they never refreshed room even when you asked
First day went to take a shower and there where no towels in the room. The ice bucket smelled of urine.
Completely dated, doors made of cheap material. The lifht switches where filthy with black mold
I live in NYC and that price point I would have stayed in beautiful hotel

Nice sleep

Check in was pathetic, both check in agent were rude non cooperative, hotels had lots of room available asked them to put all 7 rooms at one floor, I will never book the hotel again. No one was there to take luggage or help for anything. Service was really pathetic.
5.0 / 5.0
I loved the fresh coffee that was available every morning in the lobby., that the bus station was next door, and that there were a dozen bars, shops, restaurants, trailheads, and activities within walking distance. The window views and staff were nice. My only small complaint might be that a small continental breakfast would’ve been great. There are few breakfast places that open before nine in Downtown Juneau.
2.0 / 5.0
Rude service at the front desk. Room is old and doesn’t have AC so was very stuffy for those rare warm days.
3.0 / 5.0
Facilities were acceptable. Personnel were not very helpful especially the concierge. Good location. At least offer pastries. When we finally noticed the coffee pot it was empty.
3.0 / 5.0
The staff are super friendly and helpful. The property is in need of updating. For example, the bathroom had no fan.

Perfect location

Would not recommend staying here. It is outdated with very cheap linens, bedding and bed. The staff is incredibly rude and you have to ask multiple times for something such as towels. We asked for our room to be cleaned (3 night stay) and they never cleaned it.
Absolutely not worth the astronomical prices they’re charging.
The only pro to this property is the location, but there’s plenty of other options in the downtown area. Would not recommend.

Best hotel in Juneau, although its a bit pricey. Modern and tasteful decor in the rooms. I had a room on the 5th floor that faced the waterfront, giving a beautiful view.
Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice restauraunt and bar on the premises and free parking. A definite bonus was the cooling system in the room the worked as well as a decent air conditioner.

Good location for cruisers. No help in getting a ride to airport
5.0 / 5.0
We stayed 3-nights at this property for a visit to Juneau. Our room was basic, clean, with basic comfort. We faced the cruise ship port, which was fun. Thank hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful. We noticed the inside of the bathroom light switch looked like it needed replacement and the bathroom lacked a vent fan. The bed should have had a softer pillow top and a few more sleeping pillows would have been nice. The onsite restaurant, McGivney's, doesn't offer breakfast, and was often short staffed, with long waits and often out of several items each visit. They offer basic bar food, but there are lots of other decent eateries nearby. McGivney's staff was friendly. There's no pool or work out facilities that we saw in the hotel. Overall, a fine stay, in a safe, convenient location, with great staff, and basic rooms and amenities.

Very friendly staff at the reception desk and the restaurant/bar
3.0 / 5.0
There is no housekeeping. My shower/tub didn't drain. Noise from the hallway is quite loud. On the plus side the staff is friendly, the wifi works and it's a great location. OH and the restaurant used to be open for breakfast but that is no longer the case.
3.0 / 5.0
Front desk staff were not always available and helpful. TV remote did not work. One elevator was not working. Was noisy (water view).
3.0 / 5.0
Understaffed. They weren't ready at the designated check-in time, and the restaurant was closed, both as a result. It was perfectly fine, but way overpriced for what it was.
2.0 / 5.0
The house keeping staff would slam doors late at night. Even though I was told there would not be daily house keeping, because they were short staffed.
2.0 / 5.0
Location was extremely convenient for shopping, restaurants and cafes in downtown Juneau. Also close to Mt. Robert tram and excursion stalls. Hotel also offered concierge services on-site. Our room was decent size and the sea views were amazing.
1.0 / 5.0
The staff was unprepared and not there to accommodate. We attempted to check in at 1:00pm and were advised the room was not ready. Came back at 3:00pm and still had to wait 45 minutes. There was another lady in the lobby at 3:00pm that had been waiting all day to check in.
1.0 / 5.0
I couldn’t use the bon voy app to check in, and I’m not getting credit for the days I stayed because I booked through Expedia.
2.0 / 5.0
Too expensive for what you get. Very run down and dated hotel and no AC in the rooms.
5.0 / 5.0
Great experience. We had a room that overlooked the harbor. The room & beds were incredibly comfortable and the room was very clean; also the bath appeared to be updated. The Sheraton was convenient to walking around town and also to loading our gear onto our ship. It's probably the nicest hotel in Juneau for the price.

Great location. Easy walking distance to all activities. Welcoming front desk. Restaurant food was good with friendly bartender.

Not so good
1.5 / 5.0
Great location, poor service. We stayed 5 days 4 nights and had to make multiple requests to replenish our coffee, toilet paper, etc. Even after making these requests we were only given enough for 1 cup of coffee.
1.5 / 5.0
Good location, friendly and helpful desk staff. But overall a tired property, not up to date, and no breakfast in restaurant.
