Great location! Right in the middle of everything. Enjoyed the heated pool. This is a small hotel but has everything you need. The rooms are a bit older. Plenty of parking. Everything is within walking distance.

Friendly staff. Pretty good continental breakfast. Someone left a water thermos and small travel container lotion on the counter. Hopefully the room got cleaned before we arrived. There was a stain on the bed with a small drawing thinking the sheets was never changed. I would still come back and stay here.

Everything was great except the deceitful advertisement of a full breakfast. You need to let people know it is only a continental breakfast because I chose it specifically for the full breakfast and was very disappointed.

The woman that checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We had lots of questions about the town and she was very happy to answer and provide guidance. The hotel is central so once you’ve parked, you can walk to everything. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. It could use a little updating for those that like more modern, upscale rooms but for the price, we were very happy. We didn’t swim but the pool looked nice. Overall a great experience.

Small, basic rooms, with nice furniture in good condition. Sink area & closet, with toilet and roomy stand-up shower in bathroom. Good sized mirrors and lighting. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool. Would have liked the balcony to be more private, as there is no separation between them. All in all, the location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. You can't do any better if you would like to be in the center of Solvang. A very cute, well kept, clean place to stay.

My husbands 70th birthday and he wanted to go to Solvang . What a fun trip had some great barbecue at Whiskey and Rye not to mention always enjoying a great breakfast. It was also Danish Days! What a treat! Will definitely be back

We always stay here while in Solvang. Just park your car and walk everywhere around town. Need to drive to get to the casino. Nice breakfast with fresh pastries and six different types of milk (yes Six!) It’s a motel so some early morning noises as some guests fire up their cars and leave

The Inn was a pleasant surprise! Great location in the heart of Solvang. Not a luxury inn. The rooms a small and a bit dated. However our room was clean, staff was friendly. Solvang is as a cute as a postcard, pedestrian-friendly town. Good value and service at King Fredricks. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise with coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, oatmeal and danishes from one of Solvang's yummy bakeries. Although I do recommend you go out for breakfast at least once while visiting this charming little town.

In the middle of downtown Solving and the outdoor pool and hot tub was wonderful in the hot weather. An older, but updated motel with very friendly staff and daily room cleaning, The complimentary breakfast includes pastry, yogurt, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, and juice. Because Solvang has a quiet at night, the room was quiet, too.

I actually did not stay I reserved a room at the site to arrive on the 28th and leave on the 29th. When I arrived on the 28th the hotel told me the reservation was set to arrive on the 27th and check out on the 28th . I contacted Expedia to let them know the situation and I was told there was nothing they could do. I would like to let who ever reads this at hotels.com that on the 27th I was actually staying in San Diego on a reservation set up thru hotels.com. If this is how hotels.com treats there customers I won’t be dealing with them in the future.

Situated slap band in the middle of Solvang. Easy parking, room was OK for 4 of us for 1 night. Hot tub was nice and hot in the evening to relax in. Breakfast was a little disappointing, there was not much choice.

Everything was within walking distance which was important to me because of my health. We weren't interested in attractions outside of town so it was nice to just park the car and leave it. Fridge and microwave were adequate for our needs. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. Wish the towels at the pool were bigger and not just bath towels. Continental breakfast was good. All in all it was comfy and quiet even though we were right next to the 2nd busiest street in Solvang.
