Visited for a few days in mid October Pros Location - near to train and bus station, beach, town centre Great room size. Clean. TV had the main 4 UK channels + channels from other european countries + radi "partial sea view" room had a good view Fridge in room Air con basic but good Swimming pool area is large, lots of loungers Quiet - it can be loud outside but quiet inside Cons Requested a room with a double, got 2 singles. Can push these together but there was still quite a gap. It's buffet style and was tbh - poor, even at a very low additional cost. Tried it twice then decided to eat out. Some basics are ok. Toast, Donuts, coffee, cold cuts of meat, orange and mixed fruits juice . The small hot food area included mini 'frankfurter' (cheap) sausages and not great looking scrambled eggs. The yoghurts expiry date was in 9 months!! Not exactly fresh. Bathroom - the shower was in a bath was quite slippery - the wall mounted shower head holder is not strong enough & loose and was imo DANGEROUS!. The water pressure causes it to lower & then depending on the water pressure, the shower head flies off towards you. It hit my elbow and I almost slipped & fell trying to avoid it. I was very lucky i didn't fall -no shaver plug luggage store not supervised & out of site of staff room service very noisy constantly moving furniture (& a bit grumpy) no ceiling lights in large bed/living area. There were 4 in the much smaller bathroom

Everything is good, the best hotel in Fuengirola. I have stay there some times before too and will be back in that hotel every time when i visit Fuengirola

Very clean staff lovely, we were upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom, it was lovely, downside was we couldn't get a poolside room with sun, our view was front &cold, bars below were ridiculously noisy into early hours of morning, impossible to sleep as we were put on first floor

Hotel is very clean. The staff were helpful and offered us another room as you could hear the lifts.( Room opposite the lifts) very happy. There is a nightclub under ground on the poolside of the hotel, you can hear at the weekend, but ok. The room we stayed in was very clean the maids come every day. We didn't eat in the hotel as we like to eat out, but looked very good. Being right on the front it is in a good position. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Location 10/10-stones throw from everywhere. Cheap buses. Uber lots cheaper than regular taxi. Our room was ready a couple of hours before check-in which was perfect. Asked reception where room looked onto-was told the sunny side. Was on 1st floor-same as pool. Being on that level there was no outlook only onto an alley with gentlemen’s club! Balcony very small and narrow and as higher floor had wider balcony not very much sun touched ours. We did not use the hotel apart from resting/sleeping. Room was clean and cleaned daily but dated/worn towels. Tv good size and BBC/ITV. Kitchen area/settee. Good enough for what we wanted for our 5 nights. No holiday feel to the hotel. Double glazed doors kept noise out.

Enjoyed my stay at PYR very clean newly renovated studio not sure if the room was really completed as lacking a few things. Main problem was height of shower and kitchen cupboards and closet hangers. Way to high!!!

Like a building site banging every day, drilling, sawing gave me headache most days .staff not interested our relaxing holiday didn't turn out too good won't go to that hotel again.

PYR was a positive surprise! I didn’t expect the hotel to be as clean as it was and at least our room in 10th floor was in very nice condition. The cleaning was done very well and even the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was good, enough options but not so much variation between the days. Outdoor pool was supposed to be heated but we thought it was very cold. Excellent location and nice views from the room to sea and mountains.

It is a really nice hotel with fantastic views and at a great location at the heart of the marina. All the staff were friendly and really helpful. Maid service everyday that left you with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet rolls etc which other hotels I have stayed at haven't, so you end up buying more from the supermarket. I have no complaints at all and have booked to come back in April next year.

Good sized studio with kitchen area. Had side sea view which was great. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Nice pool area on 1st floor Pool heated in winter lots of sun loungers. Breakfast continental plus a few cooked items. Bread/ rolls/ croissants excellent AND Nespresso machine in breakfast room. Many rooms in process of complete refurbishment. Adding walk in showers. Ours wasn’t refurbished but fine anyway. Very convenient location. 5mins walk from rail station.

When we first stayed here for our winter holiday,it was because of price and location. We then realised what a great pool area it had it's heated! Each room has a kitchenette with crockery, microwave, toaster and two cooking rings. The fridge is a good size and they provide a small washing up liquid, cloth and tea towel.The room is a really good size and we've had a sofa too. The fixtures and fittings are older but everything is spotlessly clean.Very lovely staff everywhere. There are so many restaurants but good supermarkets where you can buy food for making your own stuff. It's a ten minute walk to train station and a 35 min journey from the airport for less than 3 euros. In February and October we've paid around£50 a night. Love it!

Fast checking in. Reception staff couldnt be more friendly or helpful. Looked after our bags until early evening even though we had checked out. Hotel clean with all amenities as stated. Ideally situated in heart of town.

This hotel is really superb as, you walk to the Reception area, marble flooring everywhere. The staff at the reception were excellent, very friendly,and, nothing too much trouble .The rooms were quite spacious with a balcony with coffee machine,kettle fridge,microwave ( kitchen area very small ) and all matching crockery which is plentiful. Lifts to all floors. The only down side to this Hotel is the "NOISE" with it being in a central position if you stay out to the early hours then this might not be a problem to you,breakfast also available on site if required.
