I would recommend this resort to family and friends. The staff was very friendly and everything was very nice and remodeled. The waiters Alexis Lugo and Agustin Rivero from the sports bar were amazing. Will be coming back for sure!

The stay was made even better by employees who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible, Guadalupe down at the taco stand was very friendly on top of making the best street style tacos I have ever had. Henry, one of the pool side serves made sure you never had to wait for a single drink or to get food, than Julio at the main swim up bar made some of the best drinks you could have as well as giving us new drinks to try based on what we had been ordering so far. 10 out of 10 service and comfort

My family and I enjoyed the hotel. It was clean, with many amenities. Staff were gracious. Location was great with many activities close by.

Overall very good experience, service and staff are excellent. Food options are a bit limited.

We really liked the property we were only there three nights and couldn’t imagine being there longer as we had a 2.5 year old and since she was not allowed in the kids camp there wasn’t much to do with her. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Hana restaurant was a hit for us. It was clean modern and fit the bill for our short trip.

We had an amazing time! The resort was spotless, the staff were so nice, the food was wonderful, loved all the presentation of the food even by the pool area!
We will go back there again!

Wonderful customer service. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Bellboy Uriel and waiters Edgar and Jesus were exceptional.
My family of four enjoyed the relaxed environment. Adding a Teen club or Teen activities to engage the older teens would have made it perfect.

Nice/newish infrastructure, rooms, etc.
As soon as we arrived our first stop was to eat a pizza slice each by the beach. To our horror, the person attending the pizza kitchen grabbed it with his bare hands to put it on a plate. That should have been a sign.
Pool service is atrocious. Not Marriot level, but a below average all inclusive. We waited almost one hour to get an order entered into the kitchen after speaking to a handful of the servers who always tell you “immediatemente caballero” (immediately, sir).
Beachfront is nice (it is Cancun after all), but the facilities not. Chairs are far from everything (including any hope of service) and rundown as if they survived a nuclear attach.
Then, the cherry on top. My older son and I got severely food poisoned. One full day of lots of sitting – in pain. Had to take an immodium to stop it and be able to take a plane back.
Today is day 5 after our return. I am writing this from a doctor’s office since it has not stopped and clearly I must have ingested a back bacteria or parasite.
So, yes, for facilities they get a 4/5. For Service, a 2/5 (yes, it is way below average, specially if you are paying Marriot rates). For “food”, well, they get a 0/5.
This is a run of the mill all-inclusive (diluted / undrinkable beer), with well below average service. No, I will not return - and no, despite the glowing reviews that enticed us to book it in the first place, avoid it like the plague.

Excellent service. Beautiful property. Breakfast and lunch options were wonderful but we found dinners just “ok”.

I had to change room 2 times because bathroom didn’t work, pool staff had bad customer service especially the so called supervisor. But captain estrada, Ro and chef Cris made the experience better.

Staff were all amazing! Only thing that i found disappointing was that they did not seem to do well when they were busy! Hana restaurant was amazing on the first night however on one of the days when they were busy, after waiting 30 mins for a table, we were sat outside (without being asked) and were on our own making us feel very excluded from the rest of the restaurant. Our waiter did not seem too enthusiastic about having to serve us. We also witnessed him pouring left over water from another table into the jug to reuse again for another table. We refused any water after that which was not fun when sat outside where it was very hot and humid. We also got eaten alive by the mosquitos which ruined the night.
The entertainment staff at the pool although very nice and friendly, were VERY pushy! They were pushing us every 10mins to join in with the activities when we kept stating that we wanted to relax and read (something we don't get to do very often) however we were told that we should get involved more as we had been reading all day! I don't appreciate being told how to enjoy my vacation. It was funny at first but then became uncomfortable as they kept trying to push my teen daughters who made it clear that they did not want to join in as they were also reading! After a while, my children kept getting up and hiding after they approached us as they were feeling uncomfortable which is not acceptable when they just wanted to enjoy their vacation, their way!

Our first family trip to Cancun, and we all enjoyed so much staying at the Marriott. All the staff were so friendly and were asked every day if everything was ok. The property was very clean lots of restaurants to dine in they were all delicious! The servers were so friendly too!! We will definitely visit again.

Was still under construction when the advertisement said otherwise; the 2nd area with slides was closed... when booked that was not indicated and we traveled with a child: was placed in a obstructed view room: and check-in staff needed retrained

The only thing is the limited dining, not much choice, even the menu of each restaurant, only two pages, not much to choose.

Overall an OK time for us. We experienced some very nice and some average things during our stay.
The water slide, kids area and activities and the Japanese restaurant were the best experience for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The only thing I would improve is the food, when we ordered the made to order food it was great but the buffet was not to our personal liking.
