This motel used to have a licenced restaurant Now there is nothing I did not come prepared for this change and was too tired to drive into town

Perfect for those just looking for a place to lay your head for a night or two. Room was dated but clean & adequate. Bed was a bit hard but pillows were nice & the bed was warm. Shower was very small but nice & hot with lots of water pressure. Convenience of fridge & microwave in the room. Parking right outside the door. Overall a good stay.

Was greeted by a cockroach as I opened the door. 5 beds but only 4 chairs. Absolute bare basics of a motel. Squishy little shower. Tiny hand basin. Useless toilet paper. Not enough blankets. Terrible perfume smell (hayfever trigger) upon entry. Not enough and could have had better positioned power points. Table wasn't at all possible to eat together.

Not that impressed. Office was closed when we arrived, even though hours showed it was open for another 2 hours. No allocated parking. Had to park at back of premises, far away from room and carry gear in the dark and rain. Dogs apparently allowed on premises, stepped in dog poo in the dark in parking area (couldnt see in the dark) and ended up with it in my car, in room and all over shoes. Extremely unpleasant. Facilities not what we expected for the price. Have stayed in nicer Motels at lower price.

We booked fairly last minute for a one night stop over. It was overpriced for what it was, but comfortable enough and clean. Good size fridge and had tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. Good size room.

Price was outrageous for the condition of the building. Shower leaked badly all over the floor, dangerous when entering the bathroom. Hot water in shower took over 5 full minutes to arrive. On arrival manager said there wasn’t any lights in the room and was having trouble getting an electrician to rectify. No breakfast menu therefore we couldn’t have breakfast before we left.

We stayed here just for one night whilst travelling north. The rooms had everything we needed. The restaurant attached to the motel provided very affordable meals and drinks. If you need somewhere to stay for a night and want a comfortable bed after a home cooked meal then this is your place.

This was fine for a one night stay on the road. The reception were polite and friendly. The room was a little bit tired and the fridge and the aircon (which needed to be on because it was hot all night) were a bit noisy. However, the bed was very comfortable and the room was not too small. Reasonable value for money.

The guy in the next room kept smoking outside our door. The check in experience wasn’t great either. Air conditioner worked well, bed was fine, iron worked well.

they shoud keep parking space for people who book had to wait 35 mintes for sombody to leave. the royal hotel is better next door plenty parking and keep spases for bookings.

The website states dining and breakfast but there’s nothing. The shower head spayed water everywhere. The fridge is just cold . The room itself was good and clean.

Overall it was fine. I wouldn’t pay anymore than what I did to stay here. The beds, the cleanliness and the service was fine. But the property is incredibly outdated and tired. The listing and their website states they have a restaurant and offer breakfast, but they do not and it was one of the reasons we chose the motel. One of our rooms also had a faulty air conditioner, these things happen and the owner offered us fair compensation for the fault, but still left me underwhelmed overall.
