Check in was a disaster. My wife and I booked a room with a King size bed for our anniversary. When we arrived, they informed us that they no longer had any king size beds available. They try to convince us that upgrading to a double bed would be in our best interest. SMH! They let us know that the hotel was 100% booked and it was our only option. So my wife and I slept in separate beds on our anniversary. As a consolation, they waived the resort fees for our stay. But I still had to deal with a "not so happy" wife because of our sleeping arrangements. The manager claimed that the mix-up was because of us booking with a third party as opposed to booking directly with the Marriott.
On the other hand, the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice. The beach was amazing and everything else went well. overall the hotel had everything we were looking for except for a king size bed.

This is my 2nd time at this property. It was a great the first time and was recently renovated and the lobby area was really upgraded

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The casino was very nice, but I do wish some of the games (specifically Roulette and Craps) were opened/manned later in the night - for us night owls. The neighborhood is very walkable, safe, and has a lot of good food options!

The hotel is nice but the food and bar drinks are way to much and with what you pay per night when I ask for a cup of coffee I should be able to get one free of charge but no they said I would have to pay. Then a fee of like 375 hold on my card for if anything happens to the room was charged at check in so that was a good surprise. I already paid for the nights we were there at $400 a night and now I see a charge of $275 I have no clue way! So frustrating. I probably would not stay there again

We stayed in the building overlooking the pool. The room did not have a full length mirror, or any mirror other than the one over the bathroom sink. The shower was rough at the base due to grouting around the tile. There was no microwave in the room, only one for the floor in the ice room. The ice machine did not work, and only one of two elevators worked which was time consuming for Uber waits and meeting with friends in the other building. Overall, nice place, convenient location, but I would not stay there again given the price point and amenities offered. The main building was also under construction, smelled of mildew.

There was construction work going on during my stay, but the property was still clean and the amenities were nice, such as the pool, access to the beach, 24-hour workout facility with a sauna and an option to use the fitness trainer. The only issue I had was there was a weird smell on two of my pillows, but the housekeeping manager came to my room and handled the situation promptly.

Rooms were very nice. Water pressure is the shower could have been MUCH better. It would have been helpful to know that part of the hotel was unavailable due to construction.

The hotel its self is beautiful! my partner and I had no complaints about the overall experience the slide in the pool was the cherry on top lowkey lol. the room its self was good the drainage in the tub was really our only issue. housekeeping was excellent! the views and the beach were great. the area around was busy no issues about finding something to do or to just relax and enjoy!

This property was under construction on the main floor, near the pool, near the casino and dinning. There also, was a few elevators closed due to construction. The noise and drilling of the concrete gave me a headache for most of my stay. Guest should have been advised in advance that the construction was taking place in order to decide if they still choose to stay that property.

Very nice hotel. Great Oceanfront view. Food and drinks were great. Waking distance to other food and clothing stores. We enjoyed our entire experience and stay

Stood at Stellaris for my sisters 21st birthday this year (2024) and it was absolutely amazing. The service was immaculate and the facilities breathtaking. A short walk to Walmart, Wendy’s, church’s chicken, Taco Bell or Pizza Hut. And also a short walk to La Placita. A $5 cab to districto t-mobile. Absolutely amazing stay, amazing location, amazing hotel.

The property is under remodeling, a lot of noise and dust in the lobby and pool areas, the staff is very friendly, the room was quite arranged, with some cosmetic details, etc.
The beach is not good for bathing, a lot of waves and strong currents, the flag of danger is permanent

I enjoyed everything about it!!!

The atmosphere was fantastic. Had two days with no amenities open because of the storm heading into Puerto Rico but after that we had a great time. One incident with bedbugs in our room has us with annoying bug bites all over our body.

There should have been a notification sent to patrons regarding the construction. One elevator worked and the room smelled mildew ish. The staff were all great and super helpful but the amenities were lacking. The price was not worth it.

Upon arriving to the hotel we were told that the pool view room we booked months in advance had a leak, so we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was not an upgrade. Just a couch with a pull out plastic mattress. No bedding. No pillows. We complained and were moved to a pool view room with one king bed, we booked 2 queens as we had 2 guests. They said they would bring a roll away bed - they never did. The food menus aren’t great, overpriced, and taste of the food is average. Very little options for children. The pool was always over crowded. By 3pm it was disgustingly dirty. Plastic cups, trash, napkins, hair floating in the water. Visible dirt on the bottom. Staff were never on the same page. You could ask the same question to multiple people and get all different answers. There was also construction happening in the lobby and in common areas of the hotel. We were not warned of this and I would have booked somewhere else had I know. Overall, this resort is not worth the money, especially if you plan to bring children.

The hotel was under construction. None of the amenities were available. It was such a nuisance for myself and my kids. The door to my room didnt lock unless i pushed closed. The room itself had a smell of mildew or mold. The moisture from the outside had the floors so moist. The pool area was so slippery we slipped all day. Just not a pleasant stay at all.

Simply amazing!! My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms and facilities were clean. Beachfront property with plenty of chairs and umbrellas available. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and service. Hotel staff were very friendly and ready to help. We were there through Hurrcane Ernesto and hotel did everything they could to help.
One bad note was the reservations department were very unhelpful went we asked if we could extend the stay due to a flight cancellation because of the storm.
Everything else was great, the pool and the beach are great.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Stellaris Resort in San Juan and was quite disappointed with the experience, especially given the high cost. Several areas of the resort were under maintenance, which detracted from the overall ambiance and amenities available. Unfortunately, our room was not up to the expected standard of cleanliness. We found stains on the bathroom walls, a dirty sink and vanity, and the bedding was in poor shape. Shockingly, there was a blood stain on the sheets, right where your face would rest, which is completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber.
Adding to the disappointment, we had two days where everything was closed due to a potential tropical storm. While I understand the safety concerns, there were no vouchers, discounts, or alternative options provided to guests who suddenly had nothing to do. Given the lack of amenities and the issues with the room, this stay was far from worth the price we paid. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a better experience.

Limited dining options on site as new restaurants we're open. However, great dining options in walking distance.

The swimming areas and beach access were great. The room could have been a little cleaner, and the adjacent area were under construction which was a bit noisy. All in all it was a good location for a family vacation.
