Stayed at the Westin for the Seattle marathon! Great choice, close to the starting line. We requested a crib at 11pm due to our daughter not sleeping well in the pack and play we brought they were able to get one up to the room which was a real life saver! It was great that they accommodated a later check out and gave me enough time to run the marathon, take a bath and get checked out. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Check in Line was astronimical

My daughters and I came to celebrate my birthday and attend Mary Poppins at the 5th ave. We had drinks at the Westin and our waiter was wonderful! The entire visit was exceptional. The wonderful lady who checked us in was a delight.

Great hotel that is centrally located! Walking distance from the Link light rail and Westlake center. Hop on the monorail to Seattle Center or walk 4 blocks to Pikes Place market and the waterfront. Great experience

We had a great experience at The Westin Seattle. We went in around noon to check our bags with the front desk and were pleasantly surprised to know they already had a room ready for us! Our room was clean and very comfortable.

The facility charges an extra $25/day which you can get back as a credit for food and beverages purchased that day but this is not clear in booking and not convenient. The rooms here are badly in need of a refresh (seats on desk chairs worn through, carpet stained and no place to store belongings). It’s best for convention attendees who will spend little time in their room. Staff were good and food in restaurant decent

Very comfortable beds. Very clean and friendly staff

Early checkin was greatly appreciated. No ice machine on floor 10 had to go to 11. Great staff overcame some of the negatives like trash next to the elevator when we checked in was still there a day later when we checked out 24 hrs later .

We called twice to inform housekeeping that “used soap “ was left in the tub area along with soap container torn off the wall. Asked to have it cleaned.
Waited two hours and called again was told it would be immediately taken care of. Room 1430 I saw a housekeeper in the hallway stopped him asked if he would clean said no had to call housekeeping. He said that way they’ll reprimand the housekeeper. I said that’s crazy. But wouldn’t clean it.
Never again at Westin Seattle. Rich at checking in was helpful but the rest horrible. Bed worse we’ve slept on in years. Learn from hotel grand pacific in Victoria BC. We had a lovely room and housekeeper. Even tipped the staff. Your hotel could learn from them.

The check-in desk was great! Able to check us in early so we could drop bags and explore downtown. The room itself could use some updating for this level of hotel, but comfortable bed and convenient location. The bar was great, bartenders very friendly!

Overall very pleasant

Big room with a slice of water view. The lounge was great for cocktails and food. The morning buffet breakfast was on until 11am every morning, and had a big variety including an omelette station.

Overall good location, very nice hotel, expensive. 20 minute walk to space needle, other attractions right around needle.

Room not being cleaned. Ran out of bathroom tissue. Nice view.

The hotel, location, and staff that were available were all wonderful...4/5 stars. Two of our days were impacted by the worker's strike and VERY loud picket line. Normal facility amenities like housekeeping and room service were not available. Our room was not serviced (no coffee or beds made). Room service was not available and the bar closed. We paid our "destination fee" and were unable to utilize the perks that come with it. The protesters had a siren they set off every 10 min, and it was loud and uncomfortable to come and go from the hotel because you had to cross the picket line. It was also hard to get in and out of an Uber due to the protesters. Hopefully this is an isolated event. I will say that the staff who remained on property was working very hard to accommodate people.

Westin staff were on strike - pay fair wages!

Location great. House keeping staff on strike during second day of of arrival. We had no notice. Hotel doors were locked at night so had to bang on door, run around to the next door and bang on it. Manager let me in. This was while my wife was in distress. Very unsettling. Amenities limited due to no staff to replenish and house keep.

Ran out of toilet paper and bath towels, called downstairs for more and nobody every brought any up.

Didn't like the view from room 1053. Beds weren't made when we returned to the room at the end of the day. Ran out of kleenex, had trouble finding the only other roll of toilet paper. Workers picketing outside the door.

What did we NOT like?! They NEVER received our reservation through you! We paid you and had to pay them! You will hear from us!

It was cool being within walking distance of everything downtown seattle

Hotel staff were on strike and everything was late/delayed and basically what was provided was all they could offer

We stay here often mostly for the convenient location to concert and other event venues. The staff is friendly and the property clean. We only wish more dining was nearby but options available are good and the hotel restaurant serves excellent food...just not the variety otherwise available in Seattle.

The hotel is beautiful and service was great until our second day. Staff was on stike and all restaurants were closed including Starbucks. The one buffet we went to on day two was out of food. The air conditioning in our room was very poor and we did not have clean towels or garbages emptied.

Nice place but kinda pricey . Great location

Nice older hotel in a great location, it just gets really busy in the lobby on the weekends with the cruise crowd.
1.0
It was ridiculous. we bought this including taxes and when we checked out the charged us $300 in random fees on top of what we already paid. plus accused us of eating and drinking food in room we never touched. The hotel was nice but the staff were awful. long lines and rude customer service.
5.0
The customer service was outstanding.
3.0
With the amount of guests that were from a cruise ship, the lobby was ridiculously crowded, loud, and to staff only one person at the coffee counter was just poor customer service and unfair to that barista. It took over 40 minutes to get our ordered to go food and coffee. There was no ice in the ice machine and several light bulbs were burned out in the room. Great bed and shower per usual.

We have stayed at the Westin many times over many years. It's great. However, the parking fee has increased and is high now ($68 valet, $60 self-park) and also the somewhat new "destination fee" of $25 per night is annoying to us. It forces one to buy something at the hotel bar or restaurant to try to recoup that charge. All of this increases the cost of an already pricey stay. We wish they would stop the destination fee as it makes us reconsider staying at the Westin in favor of other nearby excellent hotels.

Very nice place and very nice people.

Downtown Seattle itself has seen better days. This hotel has been here a long time and the service is good. Pull out mattress for my teen was falling apart. They need to update their in room coffee to Keurig like everyone else has. I love the views though and the staff is nice! Good value overall.

It was a great place to stay with the family. They loved the pool, the beds were so comfortable.

Definitely the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel and I travel a lot. From the moment we checked in until we checked it was a horrible experience. I could write a book on everything that was bad. I’m not going to type everything out. Trust me do not stay at The Westin Seattle

Was here to celebrate my anniversary. The staff were very courteous. The room was amazing with breathtaking views of the water and skyline. Perfectly located where everything was in walking distance. The restaurant was excellent and the gentleman server was very pleasant. The concierge Miss Jennifer was an absolute angel who went above and beyond for my wife and I. Give her a raise along with the rest of the staff. Will definitely recommend this hotel and return again!

Would be great if a window opened for fresh air. Otherwise great, as usual.
4.0
Overall the experience and service was good however the room we got was not updated. The wall paper was peeling , the bathroom rack had lots of rust, water pressure wasn’t good, and the tv would randomly turn on at night.
Also the pool is small and shallow. Not very exciting.
The gym is nice with good equipment. And the hotel overall is nice. It is quiet and has comfortable beds and sheets. The housekeeping does a good job.
If you stay here I strongly recommend that you do not park your car in the hotel garage. The parking lot (adjacent) attached to the hotel is half the price.
