The location was amazing but they only had a "smoking room" when we got there. We had no room service every day and had to go beg for tp and clean towels. Breakfast was sub-par. location was wonderful. Staff wasn't friendly. Our room smelled like smoke!!!

They canceled my reservation and charged my card 49.99 for a cancellation fee and I did not cancel my room at all. I had to wait until they found me another room that was accessible. Closet doors were tore down in room. No mirror above sink in bathroom, I can see it used to be one there. I had to go find room service for towels and service cause no one came by.

We are handicapped and requested 1 floor, instead we had second floor with no parking. We had ri walk past the pool and ti the back stairs. I told the front desk and they said if we don’t like it to leave and they’ll see about refunding our money. They blame hotels for not notifying them. The tub doesn’t drain, the water pressure was terrible.

The room was not clean. It had a large cut in the wall that I could put my hand in, it looked like blood splattered on the curtains (not sure exactly), the bathtub was disgusting and the stopper for the tub wouldn’t stay up so the water wouldn’t drain. My daughter started a shower with her socks on because of the condition of the tub. The smell was musty and the people next door were smoking outside the door. I was booked for two nights but only stayed for one.

The lake views are nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The room had a musty odor, the bathtub had rust stains, the shower curtain had some mold on it, the tub was semi clogged, the water only partially came out of the shower and the bathroom door needed to be replaced.

The first night was very quiet but the second one was very noisy. Somebody keep setting the car alarm off. People were running up and down the walkway in front of our room

The check in was nice the front desk was friendly and attentive. The room I received was really damp. I went to the front desk, and he had no problem giving me a new room, which was also damp. He said it was because they redid the grout on the tub. There was a lizard in my room. The hotel had a lot of guests of questionable repute coming and going at late hours. The cable was basic, and the TV was fuzzy. I did not see any alligators at the adjacent lake which was disappointing. The continental breakfast was great! You can make your own waffles. Overall, I would say my stay at Quality Inn & Suites Mt Dora North was on par with what I paid for the room. So good value for the money and the breakfast exceeded expectations.

The pictures lie. The first room was not set up, so they gave us another. The electricity was iffy as the lights blinked on and off a lot. It was not unclean, but just humid in the rooms and I think old and the updates were all cosmetics.

Checking in was smooth and easy, the attendant was pleasant. On my second day however, and on a Saturday, they were having maintenance done on all the air conditioning units. This was not informed to me during check in process and there was the do not disturb sign on our door. I am a single mother with two young children traveling alone. I had parked the car with my children and watched as maintenance, along with someone who owns the motel (not a hotel like advertised), knocked on the door. After two seconds they started going inside our room. I rolled down my window and said “hey that’s our room and the sign is on the door.” Then the owner started going in on me. Excuse me but what if I had been in the shower and you barged into my room with my kids? That’s a big red flag in my book and made me feel unsafe to stay an extra night. They hardly waited for a response and like I said, I could have been in the shower. This is not something to take lightly. When I voiced that I did not appreciate what they did, he laughed at me and asked if I wanted them to finish the work. I said “no I would like some private time with my family since that’s what I’m here for and had the sign on the door for that reason.” Additionally, the carpet was not cleaned and left stains on my children’s feet. There were also stains on the bedding.

The owner is very nice! Just needs to get the housekeepers on track as to house the rooms need to be cleaned and the importance of it! Prices should be a bit lower bcas if conditions of the rooms! But overall I give them a 7 only because of new owner partnership it may take awhile but I think new owner will make changes for the better of quality Inn suites! Also needs to work on customer service at front desk! Smiles and treating guests with respect is the first change they need to make

The room had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade, and there were beer cans all over. It smelled very moldy. There were a lot of sketchy people around. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund and stayed elsewhere.

Beautiful area and we loved our stay, fishing and swimming, shopping, movies. Everything was so conveniently locatedin our lil area. It was the ideal location for family vacations. Highly recommended we are looking to return soon. 😍

Got to the hotel an are room was dirty so gave us another one an it was dirty too moved us to a suite an it was dirty also so my wife just told them that she would clean it herself finely after all of that when to sleep that night an had the cops banging down are door so u can say we wont be staying there again

I wish I could give more, but it was complicated. Check in was good with the front desk clerk. We got to our room and it was smelling like mold, so we had to spray deodorant. The next day we went out most of the day, got back at 6pm cause we had an anniversary dinner reservation at a restaurant for 7pm. When we tried to get in the room, the keys wouldn't work, I walked to the front desk and I had to identify myself to get a new set of keys. Back to the room, and again, keys won't work. To the front desk again and he had to call his boss to report it. The boss said he would be there in 30 mins to fix the lock. We had to cancel our reservation since we were already late and not knowing how long before having access to our room. We went next door to a sport bar to grab something to eat while we waited for them to open our door. 30 mins later they called me that the boss was there to open the door, but we asked to let us be there to make sure everything was ok with our stuff, so we had to pack our dinner to go and leave the bar. When we got to the room, he had already opened the lock and they gave us another room 2 doors down. My problem here was that when we told the boss we had to cancel our dinner reservation, he was very sarcastic and said he didn't know why we did it since it only took him 5 minutes to unlock the door. I asked him, what about the time wasted from the room to the front desk and back plus 30 mins for him to arrive. He laughed and said, it only took 5 mins. 👎

The room was stink, smelled like a wet dog. Double beds were too small for two people to sleep in. Carpet was very soiled and wet to the feel.

Room seemsd to have new carpet and paint, bed was fine. Whole room smellled like mildew. The bathroom shower diverter did not work properly, half out of faucet and half out of shower head. Popcorn ceiling had come off in a big chunk with more hanging down, this was above the shower. Stairs were filthy and needed to be power washed.
