Put in a room next to the laundry. Woken up at 8am daily by very loud staff shouting the days orders to each other. They claim to have a pool table, but it's been out of service for two years. The hotel itself was fine but it was not efficiently run nor pleasant to stay at.

My hotel for Auckland stays. Handy for buses downtown and great for nearby K road. There are a number of steps leading up to the hotel foyer male staff have often helped me with my case/s up them which has been super.
Super shuttle normally stops at bottom of drive on Queen street due to difficulty turning around the site so luggage has to taken up a slope to the hotel.Good value but I sure wish they would put soap holders in the showers in rooms with facilities..I find the side facing the park quieter but not necessarily on Friday/Saturday nights. Hotel restaurant once functional has not been open for quite some years and who knows if if will ever open again. Its a common room now.I recommend The White Lady at start of St Kevins arcade in K Road less then 5 minutes walk great for tasty, generous inexpensive takeaways. If you forget something eg a torch , get the bus or walk down Queen Street left hand side as far as Daiso I love that low priced shop.

This property served its purpose. Cost effective but nothing fancy. Area was ok, definitely worth walking a mile or two to better areas

I wish there were tissues in the room. It would be even better if the bed was fixed.

It’s basic, we got what we paid for. It’s an old building.

The receptionists were all very kind. The female receptionists in particular were very kind and gentle, which was helpful. In the morning, I tried to greet the housekeeper as much as possible. Thanks to that, the housekeeper started to talk to me. I enjoyed greeting and talking with the housekeeper. Everyone was very kind. I stayed in a single room. The bathroom was shared, but it was very easy to use and helpful. I was glad I could stay in the single room for a long time. The free coffee and tea were very delicious. Thanks a million!

Very dirty and unsafe, be aware of paying extra $30 for parking per night on the top of accomodation, hospitality is not good at all, no tv, space is too small

Just needed a couple more pillows otherwise great for the price. Lots of construction going on early outside so best to bring earplugs

Was noisy with doors slamming all night and people congregating in hallway.

If you are looking for a private room with shared bathroom for decent money just on the main street in Auckland you ll probably get what you were looking for. Room was ok, bed could be more comfy tbh. Receptionist super nice, bathroom clean, basically next to shops, restauraurants and downtown

Our toilet was wobbly. The whole apartment floor was shaky too!! It felt like there were earthquakes happening, but according to geonet there were none happening. Because of this reason we were very concerned about the structural integrity of the hotel itself and wouldnt stay again for this reason. Also charged $30 per day per car to park at the hotel. However everything else was excellent.

For what we paid, the room and service were pretty good. My two disappointments were first that the room was much smaller than the picture I saw online, so small it didn't have room for a chair. Second, there were only two outlets, and they weren't very practically located.
The people were nice and the room maintenance and daily service was good.

Good value hotel quieter outside mid week . Ive always stayed here in Auckland and its handy to bus stops and K Road. Shame the restaurant once available for breakfast and dinner and now used as a common room closed some years ago but maybe one day it will open again. If travelling by super shuttle be prepared to be dropped off on Queen Street and walk up as its too hard to turn around for the vehicle with trailer due to narrow space andarked cars further round. There are quite steep steps up to enter the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights, Appon check in the staff were not very friendly or welcoming, when getting in the room we notice the bed sheets had stains one of the lights were falling off the wall another light had blown as we turned it on and the shower felt very unstable the floor was sinking in and it was leaking, we told the staff about all of these issues but nothing was done while we were there.

Decent hotel in the centre of Auckland. Basic but otherwise good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked well.

An affordable accomodation in central Auckland, easy to access transit and is at the top of Queen St and K road, a main shopping and food hub. The best features of the hotel is the affordability and it's location.
Cleanliness could have been a bit better in the rooms, and the beds were quite uncomfortable would not recommend sleeping more than two nights if you need good sleep support, after five nights my hips were very upset.

Excellent and safe location.
Great options for public transportation nearby as parking is limited, and many places are within walking distance.

Found 2 cockroaches in the room! Terrible!
