Absolutely fantastic hotel. Perfect location, very comfortable and staff who were so accommodating. This was our first trip to Norway and we were not disappointed. The location of the hotel was amazing and we paid for a sea view room (recommended) which would oversee the Arctic Church and the huge mountain stood alongside. Hotel was very snug and warm and had a very open breakfast. The omelettes were the best we had ever tasted. A huge thank you to the staff and in particular a gentleman named Morten who kindly offered us a conference room to change after checking out. Room was relatively small compared to other Radisson hotels and this was our only negative part to the hotel.
Sauna is fantastic with perfect views.

Hotel is conveniently located in city area where most day/night tour departs. Check in was fast. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfy. Shower water flow was adequate. Had used the sauna and gym which were great. Had used uber to get to and back from airport.

Cozy room is a joke, bathroom not to use to small

Bought a room with a bathtub and king bed. Recieved two twin beds, which we pushed together so no problem. Apparently they don’t have bathtub stopper in the entire hotel and were unwilling to acquire one for us so bathtub is just for decor and a high step out of your shower.
We were told to park across the street for the hotel. Ten minutes before checking out we recieved a $66 parking ticket and the hotel then informs us you have to pay at a meter. They refused to reimburse us even tho we were never told and there is absolutely no signage stating that payment is required. The front desk staff recommended we not pay it and leave the country with a fine. It’s going to come out of the rental deposit automatically. So thanks so that super legal advice.

We'd booked a stay from Nov 22-Nov 29th. Due to a flight cancellation that was out of our control, we arrived at the hotel on Nov 25th. The hotel refused to help us with the cancellation or refund for the days of Nov 22 - Nov 25. To top it off, we went for the hotel breakfast, which seemed to not be fresh as we contracted severe food poisoning after consuming the fruits / fish being served in the breakfast. This further wasted 2 more days of our trip as time was spent in recovery.

We had a great stay. The front desk person who checked me in was incredibly helpful and nice. The breakfast was great. Would stray again.

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and has an excellent location. The gym on the top floor has a great view. Go look even if you’re not exercising! We had a room with a view of the fjord.

The luggage storage area the guests have to place luggages themselves and the lift the guests no need to tap card so both areas have reflected that the hotel security issues not so strong

Our experience at the Radisson Blu in Tromsø was disappointing. The room lacked sufficient heating, leaving us bundled up in thermals or sweatpants the entire stay. We booked a “sea view” room, expecting a scenic outlook, but it instead overlooked a parking lot where, on Friday night, people were partying and yelling until past 1:30 a.m., right next to a bus stop.
When I called the front desk to request express laundry service, I was told by Christian, “I’m helping someone check out; I’ll call you back.” That call never came, and I had to go down to the lobby 35 minutes later and ask for assistance face to face.
The hotel leans heavily into self-service, but it’s poorly managed and adds frustration rather than convenience. The one positive note was breakfast, which offered good food, but even that was served buffet style in an underheated area where dishes didn’t stay warm.
Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere; you’ll have a far better experience.

Great hotel and location. Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice workout area and sauna. If you can get a room with a view, do it! Rooms are a great size and you can open the windows to great some great Nordic fresh air. Bus system in this quant small town is great and very convenient to this hotel.

Property was perfect for our needs, a 2 night trip for a football match inside the arctic circle and this hotel gave us fantastic views of the town. Check in was quick and easy as we had prepaid and check out even easier.

This is a fabulous hotel, with exceptionally helpful staff. It is located in central Tromso near the harbour and a short walk to Polaria and the Troll Museum.
We had a sea view, which was exceptional, and along with a great breakfast including prepared to order items, our stay here was truly memorable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Excellent hotel staff who couldn’t do enough when we had an issue with the air conditioning in our original room.
The hotel perfectly located for the harbours and the central area of Tromsø.
Everything that you’ll need, such as shops, restaurants, bars, tourist attractions and exploring, are all well within walking distance.

Help and support provided by their great staff during the event for ~1,000 guests. Hotel has GREAT facility, courteous staff that went above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction. I am grateful for the service/support received during our 11 days stay at the hotel. I am highly recommending this facility.
I would like to specially recognize the excellent support provided by Mr. Kent Are (manager), Christian and Jasmin (front desk).

Cozy room with bed within 3 walls. Well kept, clean but a little tight.

Very small showers and aircon wasn’t the best so had to leave the window open and a busy area around the hotel (especially during midnight sun)

I didnt find anything unique, but it sufficed after a long international flight.
Parking is a bit of an expensive joke. Maybe a more experienced Tromso native could figure it out, not me.

Went looking for aurora borealis, unfortunately there wasn’t any but a very honest tour guide told me not to pay for a tour because there weren’t gonna show, so that helped save some money. Beautiful town, lots of things to do out in the nature, many coffe shops, lovely views.

Pros:
- Close to transportation: the airport express bus stops right in front of the hotel. The public bus stations are 2 blocks away.
- Close to Tromso city center: It is 3-4 blocks away.
- View: You can see the port if you select the right room. If you upgrade the room, you can get a beautiful ciew to the water and mountains.
- Services to Attractions: if within season (winter) the service office is at the entrance of the hotel, so you do not need to get out to get to tour agencies.
- Front desk: everyone speaks English. Most of them are knowledgeable of the area and can give you good advise and ways to move around the city and get to tourist attractions.
Cons:
- Noise: EXTREMELY noisy (loud). It is right in front of the pub, so you hear the base thumping until they close (1:30 am).
- Cleanliness: did not believe the reviews until we got there. They are true. 1) The side of the bed had spills dripping to the floor. 2) The carpeting in all the rooms was stained. 3) One room had a strong cigarette smell, yet the property is non-smoking. 4) When you open or close the curtains, even if you do not have allergies, you start sneezing and coughing from all the dust and dander they have.
- Maintenance: Rooms have chipped paint (wood too) everywhere. The ceiling lighting covers are broken (separating).
- Food: NO vegan food. Their restaurant (same as the pub) say they have vegan food, but they give you everything with cheese. Good luck lactose intolerants!

Breakfast is fantastic. Super convenient for anyone doing tour excursions, as a lot of tours have meeting points right out the door or across the street. Airport bus shuttle runs from right across the street.

Great hotel, we paid for an upgrade for a sea view which is really worth it, the views are spectacular. Super breakfast and front of house staff are really welcoming. As with most good hotels, the bed was super comfy. Where do they get their bed linen!!!!
