Looks great on hotels.com but at the end of the day, this is a budget motel. Everything was pretty clean and I slept great but altogether very cheap feeling. Would not stay here again - worth the extra to book at a resort

We paid for the cheapest room (not so cheap for what you get) for just one night and getting into Maui late; taking that into consideration the complex has been renovated and they did a good job with what they had. Nice pool/lawn area. Pleasant front desk staff

We stayed here for a day prior to flying out of the (very close) airport. the pool was spacious and clean with lounges and umbrellas and a nice view, and it was very convenient to the rooms and the lobby, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All hotels in Maui seem to be super-expensive and this was a little less so.

This was a well maintained retro-style property near the airport. The property is older, but well maintained and has a private beach. Our kids LOVED the lawn area and fire pits.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. The property is well-maintained and has a lovely pool, outdoor seating with fire pits and easy access to the beach. The staff were very friendly and we had a great trip!

This hotel has a beautiful pool and outdoor seating area overlooking the ocean which we really enjoyed. The lobby was beautiful. Staff were super friendly. Just know that as of now it is undergoing renovations and not all rooms completed. Overall though a good stay.

Half the hotel is getting renovated, make sure you ask for the renovated rooms. It was an additional $40 a night charge but worth it. The room was so cute, roomy, and plenty of storage. The staff was very friendly and all parts of the hotel was very clean. We really liked that the pool was open until 9pm. Our kids loved it and especially the lawn with outdoor games. Perfect view of the mountains and harbor. We also loved that the beach was right there. We will definitely be coming back to stay here. The location was also so perfect.

The room was very good, but its location was terrible. Even with an elevator we still had to lift our luggage up a few steps to enter and exit the building. ( No bell service) Our room was located about 70 yards from the elevator.

Such a cute, quaint old-school hotel. The rooms are really really small but a lot of care. The bathroom is large, wonderful shower. We stayed here 6 yrs ago and it’s much improved. The property is so nice, huge pool, all sorts of lawn games available. Even beautiful gas fire pits and seating. For us it’s a one night stay before flying out of Maui. The staff is friendly and helpful and the property is immaculate. Very family friendly.

The Maui Seaside Hotel was centrally located, clean, and nice to stay at. The staff I had contact with were beyond, friendly and professional! A joy to deal with. I used to stay at the Maui Seaside for work, and I enjoyed staying there this time, for pleasure. I didn't eat at the restaurant, because I went out with friends for every meal, however, each time I walked by the hotel restaurant, tantalizing smells were wafting out of it! The food smelled wonderful! All in all, a 10 out of 10 experience!

This place was amazing! The property had a heavenly view, everything equiped for comfort, and the most comfortable bed i have slepped in. The rooms are designed in a minimalist style, similar to many european accomodations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Not sure where the negative reviews come from for this place , we have only positive experience, and we definately recommend this place.

When we arrived we were excited until we saw that hotel room! It was Horrible and then the front desk clerk stated we were getting an upgraded suite. It was a down grade to us and an insult. Beware of what you book online. Don’t book the “Gardenview” it’s not what you think. Then they say depending on your room you may get free breakfast. We did not receive free breakfast and paid for an upgrade. I am disappointed. ☹️

Location, the view and access to the harbor are great! The rooms are old and very dated. Air conditioning works but very loud. We always booked the pool side room, because the exterior around the pool area is very well maintained. This was our 2nd stay in 6 years, for the location, not comfort. Parking is super tight.

Staff is limited. No room cleaning for 3 nights stay. Poor insulation between rooms and wall, so it’s noisy when other tenants bang on the wall (heard very loud). Under construction on 3rd floor where I stayed so it’s noisy. No vent for bathroom so the foul smelling after using the toilet lingers the entire bathroom and bedroom. Room is small and hot. AC is very noisy, not too cold, and hard to sleep at night because of the AC noise. Parking lot is very small and hard to find. Paid $850 for 3 nights but not worth the money. I don’t intend to go back when visit Maui again. Not recommended unless those conditions are improved.

Check in desk staff are fabulous, restaurant is great. Rooms are very clean, my room had a patio with two chairs and table to enjoy the view. Pool is great, they put out giant jenga and connect 4 for the kids. View and location is great for our purposes.

Parking can be difficult. Very narrow and a limited number of spaces. I had a small sedan, so I made it work. Good luck if you have anything bigger.

The room that we stayed at was ok, but a little too much for the price per night. It has a Motel 6 vibe to it, but i see they’re updating most rooms in the back building, construction going on. I wish they have a bigger TV or like a smart TV and a microwave in the room. The only good thing is that they have a hospitality room you can use after check out and the complimentary shuttle to the airport. Beach access is a plus but beach was not the nice. Walking distance to shops and groceries. Peaceful location that is close to the Airport.
