Nice place to stay. Bit dated but great breakfast and lovely staff.

The hotel is a little dated, but you don't have many options in Tahiti. It's very close to the airport so that is a big plus.

Great property, great staff, lovely resort, some of the better resort food we’ve had in FP.

My experience at this hotel was not that great. Every morning at 3:30-6:30 AM there were many roosters around the property that were so loud it was not possible to sleep. I booked this trip for a relaxing time, this hotel was not relaxing. The staff were generally hospitable but many of them were unpleasant and not happy to be there. The food was so-so and we ended up having to go find food outside of the resort.
At the very end of my stay the Hotel Porter did not grab all of our luggage bags and put it in our taxi for the final ride to the airport. After a week, I finally received a response that my hang up bag was located and now I am be charged fees, tariffs, and a large freight bill to get my luggage shipped back to me. I would not recommend that anyone stay here.
The stay was an unpleasant experience due to the roosters waking everyone up at early hours in the morning, the food not being good, the service was not good and final issue with my luggage.

Staff were amazing and couldn’t be anymore helpful.
Room was dated with a strong smell of paint on arrival

The resort was amazing, the views breathtaking. We stood on a bungalow and it was absolutely beautiful. On our anniversary we had the canoe breakfast which made our day that much special.

The hotel was fantastic, the people and staff were friendly and helpful. Staying at this hotel made us feel like we were immersed in Polynesian culture. We participated in the Mini Heiva spectacle and were part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the hotel. Beautiful Tahitian dances, music, and excellent Polynesian food were part of the celebrations.

The property was beautiful! The bungalow was so amazing and you can snorkel! The staff was great and very helpful.

Overall a great place to stay for our honeymoon. Overwater bungalow with Moorea view was stunning.
Would have liked a bit more privacy on the bungalow deck. But overall a great time and the snorkeling off the deck was awesome.
JetSki adventure was well worth the money.
Food was only OK. Need more variety and the cost was outrageous for no reason at all… $3 for a slice of bread, $25 for a cocktail.
Included breakfast is a must or the cost is absurd.

This property is under construction. It is out dated and over priced, and the room phones do not work so you have to lug you luggage the half mile back to reception at check out!

The entire staff at this resort is amazing. They upgraded us from a garden view to an ocean view. The property is beautiful. The food is good. It is expensive but that’s what you expect at a quality resort. If you check in early they allow you to stow your luggage and use their pool etc. if you have a night flight they allow you to stash your luggage and continue to enjoy the resort. They have nice rooms where you can shower and change before your flight. The only hiccup we had was a desk clerk said if we signed up to be an IHG member we could check out at 2:00 which was not the case. Since they make accommodations to enable you to use the resort it wasn’t a big issue. The best thing about the resort is the staff. Friendly, genuine, and always helpful.

We arrived separately at 3AM and 5am, the hotel charges $100 per person for a transfer and it’s literally a 10min drive. Rip off.
We got to our room and no shampoo in the bottle attached to the wall. It was small and view of a brick wall. We complained and got moved to another room with somewhat of an ocean view but later realised this is a crew hotel… to think that airline crew get better rooms than an Expedia booking. At over $600 AUD per night this was a rip off. The hotel was dated and needs a refresh. The beds were SO hard it left me with back issues. The breakfast buffet was disgusting and crowded. Not peaceful at all.
We would not recommend staying here.
The staff are lovely but there was no value for money. This is not a peaceful resort. No adult only pool and children everywhere. Not restful.
Give this place a miss!

We enjoyed our stay for a group of six. Loved having the laundry facilities available with small kids. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety. The hotel rooms and the property are dated, but the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. We loved all the sea life!

We were impressed with the over-water bungalow. Roomy with many features not found in hotel rooms. The fish surrounding our bungalow were a treat. We also liked the lagoon for viewing fish and turtles. Food was excellent and our last night at Le Lotus was truly fine dining! The swim-up bar was a nice addition along the pool!

Would be 5 star but a lot of construction going on and a lot of children on “day passes” that weren’t really respecting the rules in terms of pool usage, etc.

The hotel needs renovations badly. Very dated and not in a good way. Don’t believe the pictures on Expedia showed our room facing the water but it looked right at the wall. Very disappointed . Asked when we checked in if the room faced the water and was told yes- liar. Have stayed several times before but things are not what they used to be. We will not be back.👎

Overall, this was the best resort experience we’ve had. The pools and ocean views are incredible, the Lagoonarium is a neat experience. The rooms are clean, luxurious, and well-designed, and the staff and management were extremely helpful and accommodating.
My wife and I (in our 30’s) stayed for a week on an anniversary trip, with some day travel through Tahiti and day-trips across the ferry to Moorea. My favorite part by far were the two pools. The pool with waterfall next the Lagoonarium (Lagoon-aquarium with lots of fish to swim with) is a great place to relax and swim with pool-side food and drinks. They also have a quieter, white-sand-bottom, fresh-water pool with an infinity-edge looking out on the ocean. All the views are looking out towards Moorea, a large nearby island, so you get incredible views all the time with even more incredible sunsets.
Our hotel stay came with breakfast included (which on Sundays turns into a brunch with a live performance). Without these, the breakfasts would be far overpriced. But with those being free, the resort food was only slightly more expensive than the surrounding restaurants with consistent, above-average quality.
We had one issue during our stay with the shower, but the manager was extremely accommodating and quickly swapped us rooms, providing a porter to help move things. I felt the staff and manager really cared about making our stay a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Overall, 5/5.

We stayed in one of the huts over the water. At $1,000 US dollars a night the value was not there. It was a lovely clean room but not really worth the high cost. Food costs were outrageous as well. No shuttle to and from airport. Would have been nice considering the high cost of the room.
Bed was a bit on the hard side.

When I ask if I am facing the water and I am told I am but I get to the room and the view is of a wall I am pretty disappointed. Sure doesn’t look like the picture

We stayed 3 nights at the Intercontinental. The property itself is a bit tired but well-maintained. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Grounds were well kept. Amenities were very good. My husband and I each got a massage at the spa. The massage was good.
Food and restaurant options were adequate. Our only complaint was inflexibility to substitute items in the menu. For example, I asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular with my fish sandwich and was told those only come with the deluxe burger - "Really?". One evening, they allowed me to substitute Quinoa for rice in the poke dish, but the next night, my husband was denied quinoa with his fish that was served with coconut rice. Food and beverage charges seemed very high to me and this was confirmed when we dined off property.
The staff worked hard to mitigate language barriers and were generally very welcoming and accommodating.

The beauty and luxury of this resort was outstanding. All staff were attentive and positive, serving without even a request. Loved the lagoon and did a bit of snorkeling, and the sand bottom and infinity pools were wonderful for all ages, as well as the waterfall and the swim up bar in the pool near Le Lotus. In addition, we were able to check in early by two hours, a real blessing as we’d had a very early flight to get there. Exceptional meal and service at Le Lotus… especially loved the signature lemon dessert! Had both the fish special and the free range chicken… exquisite presentation and flavors! And the sashimi, ceviche and drinks at the other restaurant were great, too. Marvelous room and a great travel respite! Thank you!

I don't know if it is expedia or the Intercontinental, I was here 18 days prior, great room wonderful people that helped me with the connection to other travel. This time downgraded room, with a real issue with the front desk. It was suggested I didn't have the same quality of reservation as others

Comfortable to stay. The rooms and pool were a bit run down for the star rating of hotel. The staff were fantastic and friendly. We had a great stay and the breakfast was fantastic!
