Both dad has had his stain sheets, The carpet was also stained in numerous places… The bathtub inside the room was broken, I tempted to wash down on occasions before my daughter at the light to go home because she could not take the amount of issues had occurre! Not only did a book and specified on the app, but also in person five hours before the room is ready that I was handicapped disabled took about five hours to get the room ready, stuck on the second floor, Then they stuck me the disabled person on the second floor with no elevator. It took six trips three of them up and then we left three of them down with our stuff and our service dog , I bought an hour or two total in between the two. And by 7:30 to 8:30 PM, she a six-year-old little girl asked her father to take her home instead of staying on this beautiful vacation and the amount of pain I had to endure and suffer. I need a manager. I’ve already asked the app and whatever service they have to reach out to me ASAP. Leave a voicemail since I am disabled. I have a very difficult time sleeping at night let alone doing my job which is 8 to 10 hours a day for a global medical device. This will not let me upload it 5 to 6 different photographs I took. I will attempt to do it once more. I had to take Monday off work from and literally work from three in the morning until 730 or eight in the morning the following day where I’m sorry the same day on Monday to be able to take the rest of the day off and not embarrass me

Wonderful place on beautiful Tawas Bay! The staff were helpful and kind. Loved the "Bikini Bar" with live music, dancing and food. Kiki our waitress for one of the nights was the best! During our entire stay, all we had to do was ask! Definitely coming back for another visit. So much more to do.. so little time to do it all!

Room was acceptably clean, but windows were covered with finger prints and the curtains and sills were dirty. Housekeeping only comes in every 3 days, so our bed was never made. The restaurant was freezing and we had to wait 45 minutes for our food which was mediocre. We will not return.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row for a weekend couple’s getaway. The hotel itself is old, the carpet is worn and a bit dirty, and the rooms are dated. However, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and both bedroom and bathroom are spacious so you can spread out if needed. There is housekeeping only if you stay for 3 nights, but the staff are quick to bring you more towels or supplies as needed, so that didn’t bother us at all. (We are grown-ups, we can make our own bed and live to tell about it.) I see a lot of complaints about staff. We had no problem both years. They were friendly to us, and I think the main reason is that we were respectful of them. I think the key here is that you need to be a good customer in order to get good customer service. Try it…it works. So the main reason to stay here is easy access to the beach, which is great. However, if you are a light sleeper, book “standard” room that faces the road. 1st trip we had a bay view. The view of the bay is just ok, but the noise on the bay side is high. Second trip we chose the city view on the second floor. Very little noise compared to the 1st year. Walking distance to many restaurants, beach with live music, and access to the bar are pluses. So we come here just to have a place to sleep and clean up after beach days. For that, it is worth it. Be nice to the staff, bring flip flops, decide if you want to party or sleep at night. Easy peasy.

Restaurants were some of the worst lack of service I've ever encountered. Absolutely terrible and zero hospitality. It's like they flat out gave zero fux about us being there. It had 4 people besides us, they were finished eating and still hadn't got to us, no water, nothing.The whole dining was the worst. Comedy show was excellent. Rooms were decent, a bit dated. Beach area was nice, pool was clean and warm. The service desk was a bit difficult, " the ladies are out smoking, I have to wait until they get back to help you."

Beautiful property in one of the most beautiful areas in the country. East Tawas is amazing. Tawas Bay Beach Resort. Has a great beach, indoor pool and is walkable to reasturaunts and shopping. Love this place and area. Highly recommend

This property is great for a short family stay however the rooms are not as advertised. My dad and I each got a King room with a double pull out bed. The rooms didn't have the pull out sofa. This was a big deal for us because we had my nieces with us and I wanted them to be able to sleep with me one night in the pull out. Very disappointing.

The beach is not cleaned on a regular basis, and is not suitable for swimming as it’s flocked by birds and sheltered by the piers, so water is not flowing through as needed. We were given room 122 which is across the facility laundry machines. Very noisy and hallway is always hot from running the laundry machines. Last, the door at entrance B doesn’t require a key to enter, yet the one from the opposite side coming in from the beach requires one! A bit strange.

The property had so much potential. The front staff was kind, but one staff member was outside smoking, which is gross and she did it at the front entrance doors. The restaurant didn't serve breakfast because they were short staffed. They had it one morning on the June 8th and it was terrible and cold. The bar outside was super cute but once again it was closed a few days because it was short staffed. The didn't do house cleaning, only every 3 days so we had to ask for more items. The gym had one treadmill and one bike. They need a weight rack with some dumb bells at least. I wanted to upgrade my room but because I booked with Expedia, they wouldn't allow me to.

Quiet room, comfortable bed, great view. Clean room. Older property with limited in room amenities ie no microwave.. No breakfast due to staffing issues- maybe because early in season and seasonal workers still in school
