Incredibly affordable and great location. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel had everything you needed. The valet staff was extremely efficient and didn’t have to wait long for your vehicle. One complaint is that it’s pretty obvious that it’s in need of a major renovation. Too many eye sores for a luxury priced hotel.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff were great. Check in staff was great, I wish I had gotten his name. The breakfast and nightly happy hour were such a plus. I highly recommend this hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they did not have the room that I reserved with the balcony. They put me in a different room that the air conditioner was so loud and would not cool. We asked to be moved. The room that they moved us too was better but the air would not cool down as much as we like. We could not sleep very well.

Place was has potion but the staff was not the greatest. The main dinning staff was not polite and removed items from dinning table before we were done. Also a staff remember at the front desk was not feeling well and it took the manager 10 minutes to hear me out that the staff was not able to breath nor stand up unless she was holding on to the counter.

The accommodations were average. The TVs didn’t work well. The billing process was arduous and the service in the restaurant was terribly slow

The room had cockroaches, they took of the 100 dollars resort fee but I don’t think was enough for the price I paid for two rooms.

I was not impressed with this hotel. The pictures of the hotel on the website are extremely false.. the ac wasn’t putting out cool air and the carpet was disgusting throughout out the hotel floors and rooms. We asked to be moved as we heard a dog bark next door..

Upon arrival at the resort, we were initially impressed by the well-appointed lobby and the courteous staff. However, our experience took a turn for the worse once we entered our room. The furniture was outdated and exhibited signs of neglect, with the carpet and headboard was filthy. The balcony door was caked in dirt both inside and out, and the walls appeared to have been hastily patched. Given the high price of the room, resort fee, and parking charges, we felt that we were being taken advantage of. Consequently, we have decided that we will not be returning as customers. We sincerely hope that you can rectify this situation and turn the negative experience into a positive one. We wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.

First, the staff was terrible, the bed was broken, the air didn't work and after that my car paid for parking and when I went to ask for it they couldn't find it, then the next day my car woke up outside the parking lot and the explanation they gave was that it wasn't their problem. when I paid for my parking!!!

This place seems gross a depressing. The first room I got smelled funny. I don’t know if it was mold or just damp. Then I got another room and the air conditioning stoned loudly the whole time, never hit the temperature it said it was going to and EVERYTHING FELT DAMP THE ENTIRE TIME.
I understand it’s Florida. Somehow other hotel have figured it out.
The lighting was sad and depressing everywhere as well.

Staff was rude, manager had to intervene and the next morning was the same rudeness. I do not recommend, stay anywhere else, and I mean anywhere - We never felt so unwelcome in an hotel…

I love this hotel! I have stayed here a couple times and each out time is amazing!
The riverview room is my favorite especially during the day and you can here the music. Love love this hotel!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, it was quite an experience. Let’s start with the good: the river view room was absolutely beautiful. However, I quickly discovered that this beauty comes with a few surprises.
First, I was reminded of one of Florida’s unique charms: flying roaches. It seems that the hotel was kind enough to include them in my stay, free of charge. I brought this to the attention of two staff members. The first barely looked up from their computer, offered a quick “sorry,” and suggested taking the day’s room tax off. When I asked if they could perhaps address the roach situation instead, I was met with laughter. It was almost as if I had told the punchline to a joke! The next day, a different employee also apologized and generously took off another day’s room tax. While I appreciate the gesture, I would have preferred fewer roaches to fewer taxes.
As for the river view, it turns out to be a fantastic choice if you’re looking to join a DJ party from the comfort of your own room. The beats were thumping until late into the night which would have been great if I wasn’t there for work with a 6 a.m. wake-up call. Adding to the ambiance, the smoke from neighboring balconies wafted in to join the fun.
Overall, while I can handle the noise and the shared smoke, I draw the line at flying roaches, especially given the room rate. Next time, I’ll make sure to bring my own DJ, some earplugs, and a can of bug spray.

Our room smelled like smoke we had to call them to change the room. The new room had no smell but the bed made loud noise when you moved.
The hotel is located next to the River Walk which made super convenient but the access to the outside is kept open the whole time. People that was not staying in the hotel kept coming in and hanging out by the pool.

The ceiling started spouting water on the first night, then the next water completely started coming out the ceiling and flooded the bathroom. I was moved to the first floor only for the air to not function in the room. It was the worst hotel experience I have had. Especially given that cost over $890. Something need to be done about this.

If you’re a light sleeper, do not stay here! The amount of sirens and engines rumbling throughout the night is worse than NYC. Hotel is very outdated and needs a major makeover. Breakfast staff is very slow and not attentive. I would not stay here again.

Pleasant check in, Although the bellboy did not offer any help with bags. I guess it was some kind of construction going on because it kept us up all night and morning. If I visit Tampa again I would choose a different hotel.

Came in after 10 pm, had to ask to be helped. I was charged $25 but could use it for dinner or drinks which closed by 11. Advertising was smoke free but couldn’t even use the balcony for so many smokers. Also had folks above me spitting and throwing objects off the balcony. Was sold a river view room but only saw the roof of the restaurant? Couldn’t see the river from the 2nd floor. Upsetting but couldn’t sit outside for so much smoke. Saturday left and no one acknowledged me at all. Stood in the lobby for a long while waiting for my ride. Never spoken to. Came back in yet again, late, after 10:30. Charged another $25 and couldn’t use the credits. No one even acknowledged me coming in. Sunday morning room service was knocking on my door by 8 when check out was 11. Hallways were filthy. Room was large but metal bed frame was crazy loud just getting in and out. Noise from outside was loud with immature folks throwing stuff off the balcony and yelling.

Hotel is completely outdated. They have a “resort fee” and it isn’t nearly a resort, it just has a small pool. You have to pay a REQUIRED $25 a day amenity fee just for a small pool and small gym. There’s a bar at pool but anyone can walk out from the boardwalk and come to the bar and pool. (Did i mention you literally have to pay for everything).
The river view literally looks nothing like this picture and neither does the hotel. The river water is also black and filled with boat oil but hey that’s the view you’re going to get.
Breakfast was awful and that wasn’t included. It’s not buffet style.
The room didn’t have a microwave. The shower heads don’t move or adjust so it sits crooked and you have to shower leaning against the wall. The wall look like they spray painted over mold.
The offer valet and will tell you there’s no public parking so you basically have no choice but to pay them.
There’s nothing exciting in this area. Don’t book here to save money just pay a little more for downtown area or something. Don’t let TikTok fool you. At least book somewhere else along this river.

Hair all over the bathroom. Multiple things were broken in the bathroom. The A/C wouldn’t cool under 75. The pool was really dirty. Hair kept getting on me and the pool wasn’t even busy. Me and one other family. Took almost two hours for breakfast for two people. But the staff were very helpful and friendly.

This property is in desperate need of renovation, including new carpets, updated bathrooms and furniture and overall modernization. That said, the staff is friendly and helpful, the pool parties are fun and the rates are affordable. I hope that the hotel will soon receive the TLC that it needs.

The location was very nice. I did not like valet only parking. Our room service order was lost and took 2 hours or more to arrive after we called to check on it.No compensation was given. Other than that this hotel had many options in walking distance for dining and shopping.

Upon arrival we found our room door open and the room not cleaned. Moved to second room. Cockroach was found on the wall, moved to a third room. Tv did not work. New remote brought up and tv still didn’t work.
Moved our daughter into her dorm and UofT and when we returned the key no longer worked. New key issued and did not work either. We were sent back to the “hallway” and told we had to wait for maintenance to arrive apx 25 minutes later.
This hotel has the “Best” location and yet extremely dated and worn. Cleanliness and repairs are desperately needed!!!
Still waiting two days later to be contacted by management. No contact as of yet!

Beautiful hotel. Staff was always friendly and smiling. Bad part was waited 45 minutes after check-in time for my room to be available. And the over abundance of chemicals that was used to clean the room almost made me have an asthma attack. Floor in front of bathroom was soaking wet. Small vanity mirror wasn’t anchored to the wall properly

Loved the room - overlooking the pool and river.

This hotel is dirty, it looks like a low class motel with its outdated bathroom, carpets are disgusting, it smells moist, the river view balcony looked nothing like the photos, and we had to listen to drilling early in the morning and they had the audacity to charge an extra $25 a night (resort fee & it’s not a resort) on top of the room fee, with $42 a day for parking. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. They knew they had construction taking place so all those extra fees should have been waved!

The property is quite run down and I would describe this to other people as a bed and a shower. It is definitely the kind of property where I know I will likely wake up with a sore back and would not want to stay at more than one night.
2.0 / 5.0
The tub didn’t drain. It was terribly inconvenient. The parking was expensive. They charge me $25 a day that had to be used or you lost it. Needless to say I lost it.
