Customer service is not on priority. The main entrance door will not open. I waved at the guard who was on his phone so he can unlock the door. He didn't I then pressed the buzzer and only then i got his attention. I called him out about not paying attention to the ins and out of the property. Check in was slower than a turtle. The guy was about to end his shift and the new desk agent was punching in. Transition was a lot of talk and didn't care much that there were 3 of us waiting to get checked in. Check out was the worst. She would not even look up to acknowledge that I am checking out. I had to ask if it is ok for me to ask for my folio to be sent to my email. She snapped at me saying there is nothing to send out because my reservations was prepaid. I told her I had room charges that was why I wanted the folio. And she realized and poutingly said ok. Unbelievable!

Location is very convenient, very close to Newark Pennstation. Airport transfer every 30 minutes. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. Comfortable beds, good black out systems, very quiet. Cozy bar&restaurant, breakfast is very good.

The front desk person who helped me check in and check out was unfriendly, and the staff was rude to the Uber driver who arrived to pick me up in the morning. It's just an unnecessary way to behave. The housekeeping staff were kind, and the room was very comfortable.

Bad but convenient location. No soap on the shower, I always carry a bar, but no soap? Only 1 towel. Nice clean bed, nice easy TV with good cable, I was unable to connect to the WiFi. I would not use the property if I don’t need to be there.

I recently had to book a last minute room because of a concert I had planned to go, the staff was very friendly and even mentioned how other people as well planned to go to the concert. Everything was clean and perfect!

My stay was lovely, I just had 1 issue the iron in the room was inoperable and it took the staff an hour to bring me another one. Other than that the hotel and staff were great.

Ordered a king room , staff said none were available and last room that was had was a queen size room next to the elevator. Which was disturbing because I can hear the elevator go up and down. Staff was friendly and tried to assist but was disappointed with my stay.

Picked the hotel for my wife because she had very long flight delays and needed something good and reliable with a hotel shuttle bus. After an hour wait for the shuttle to pick her up from the airport, it didn't stop. The bus drove straight passed her and a fellow guest who were both waiting. They both ran after the bus (it had stopped at a light), but it drove off again. They then had to get a cab that cost over $50. At the hotel, the first thing my wife wanted was a cup of coffee. The coffee maker in her room was filled with moldy tea bags. She requested a replacement. The next one was disgusting and too moldy to use. The third one was ok. Come on Hilton. This is not good enough. The hotel was expensive. The service was awful. I will be writing separately for some compensation.

The room was decent, not great but good enough for a short three night stay. The shower though - was TERRIBLE ---the water wasn't much more than a trickle and made a horrible fog horn sound when running. After an extremely hot day in the city an efficient shower would have been appreciated. The location is great for a quick easy train trip into NYC

Great location for walking to the Prudential Center. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was costly but so convenient it was hard to pass up.

There was only one receptionist so the line for checking in extended to the elevators. The white bedsheets were noticeably soiled. The walls were thin so conversations could be heard while trying to sleep. The experience was equivalent to 2 star hotels.

You stay at this hotel for the convenience of being across the street from NJ Penn Station. Airport shuttle is slow. The hotel is old. Our junior suite was large. The carpet needed cleaning-it was sticky in several places. Convertible sofa is also at the end of its useful life. Bathroom could use more frequent applications of bleach to prevent mildew. Breakfast is good. Management should see that these hardworking servers and cooks get decent tips. The voucher structure doesn’t benefit them. Good, not great with great location.

Paid for king bed got a queen bed instead was informed that there was on property parking nobody ever said had to pay for it. $48 for parking things were not explained correctly . definitely not a next time stay.
