This hotel is in poor condition. Dining room closed. Breakfast was a bag given at the desk, a small apple, a small orange, a decent size container of peach Greek yogurt (no spoon provided), and a small Little Debbie like blueberry muffin. I learned from another guest you could get a microwaveable egg and sausage breakfast sandwich if you asked, and decaf coffee if you asked. Elevators, carpet, and tile look damaged. Room doors do not close tight, and the first room I was given smelled. Supposedly it is being renovated, but there was no notice given that the property was being renovated when I booked the room. I would have sought a different hotel if I had known. The bed was confortable and the hotel quiet, but still disappointing.

Quality Inn in Terre Haute as disgusting. We had to call corporate to get our money back. Place is trying to remodel and cover up their disgustingness but it is still very obvious. Old doors, dirty elevator and hallways smell, the beds have yellow pillow cases and stained sheets and blankets, stained mattresses. Dirt and crumbs on the floor. Absolutely nasty. Do not believe the pics on the website of newly remodeled rooms. They try to hide the grossness of this place behind a fresh coat of paint and new flooring. Hallways are painted but looks sloppy, floor trim missing along the hallways, remodel gunk on the floors. Just an overall icky dirty atmosphere. Definitely not worth the $175 a night for a room. More along the lines of a Motel and 29.99 rate.

Hotel needs a lot of help.... our room was fine but the bathroom was hard to get out of... outside hallway needs help...stairs door needs repaired....white tile to elevators needs repaired.... a hotel I won't return... cost per night was too much for what we booked.

I know this place is pretty old. We’ve stayed there several times in the past overall pretty decent place. It needs remodeled. It looks like they’ve been trying, but somebody don’t know how to paint. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the breakfast is OK nothing great.

In the room - dirty bathroom (Dried fluid and detritus on seat), no working phone, no fire suppression, no smoke detector, very strong industrial cleaner smell, tepid hot water. Staff did not clean bathroom as requested.

This place is in serious need of renovation. The elevator floor was all cracked and broken. The hall where our room was had no baseboards and looked like it was white washed rather than properly painted. There was a weird smell about the whole place. The only thing I can say was surprisingly good was the breakfast, which included eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, waffles, muffins, coffee, juices, etc. It was a delightful breakfast. But the other components were not good. The glass near a side entrance was broken, and you couldn't get into that door from the outside, even with a room key. Generally things seemed broken and kind of gross. The bed also made my back ache so badly I could barely walk the next day. I wouldn't recommend anything about this place but the breakfast.

Falsely state the properties deposit policies on yhe Choice hotel app. Unexpected large deposit that us held for days when site clearly states deposit only required if you live with in 30 miles of the propery.

The maintenance on this property is poor. It appears that it should be renovated at this point.

I have never left a bad review somewhere before. However, I do not want anyone to get the experiI had. I purchased this hotel on Expedia, because in the listing photos, it looks nice. When I arrived, the interior was humid, musty, and smelled strongly of smoke, I checked in and realized as I was walking to my room how unsafe this building was. Ceiling tiles were about to fall down. Paint was splattered and massively brushed everywhere on the walls and on the carpet as well. The interior of the room was not any better. I did not feel safe staying her for other reasons as well. People were loudly arguing and people were walking around the parking lot among our cars looking like they were high on drugs. I went downstairs and asked for a refund. Because it was booked through Expedia, they would not give me a refund . I left and booked a much more expensive hotel. I’ve chatted with Expedia many times and has spent more than an hour an hour on the phone with multiple phone calls. They say they sent quality in an email regarding the situation but they will not refund me my several hundred dollars until a manager replies from quality in saying it is OK for them to do so. They have closed my case and offered a $25 one key Cash. This is not enough to cover the hundreds of dollars I lost at this hotel plus the extra money I had to spend booking a last minute hotel. have contacted quality inn 4 times. They say they don’t get the email, or know how to get a hold of there manager.

The room itself was perfectly fine. This place is in absolute dire need of renovations and repair. There were open electrical boxes everywhere, cracked door glass, thr elevator railing had been pulled out, and the place looked as if it had been painted by blind painters. Really nice staff, though. Shares parking lot with juvenile justice center. Probably a convenient hotel for parents whose kids are being adjudicated.

The room was clean except for the stink that was coming from the next room. Elevator was dirty. The hallways were all white and being painted

The room was very clean. The place is clean overall. I hope you like white, because everything is paintes white. Too bad the pool wasnt open. Very quiet. Breakfast was just OK. Its not fancy. Just the usual offerings. Staff is friendly. The dining room looks like a restaurant. Love the lobby area, it looks exactly like the photos.

Accidentally booked the same hotel we were at several months ago, where there was pet hair on my pillow, missing outlet covers, no ice or vending machines, missing tile on elevator floor, etc.
I will say some things were fixed and we had a nice room. You can tell they're trying and improving. All in all sufficient for a quick night rest on our way across country. Good breakfast!

Did not stay at this hotel. The place was a mess outside. Looked like u would get robbed going to the front desk. Can’t believe it was rated above a 2 star on reviews. If u want to stay in a place where u feel unsafe then this is the place for u!

Not sure if is being remodeled or being patch worked together, but the building and rooms left a bit to be desired.

This place is a dump! The smoke detector kept going off in our room and instead of fixing the problem they ripped it out of the wall and said “it’s probably a battery issue” this was a hard-wired unit.
We also reserved a room with a king bed but were put into a room with 2 double beds. When I asked for the king room I was told I should have said something at the desk but because I signed the payment release it was too late to switch. We were then told they over-sell the king rooms so this is to be expected.
Stay away!!!

Don’t risk booking your stay at this hotel. Worried as lot of outsiders are roaming freely in and out all night. STAY Away.

Under heavy construction. Some spot looked good some scary. Breakfast was great, no carpet in rooms which is ok but you could tell floors not mopped.

Although it looked okay when I walked in the front door, I was sadly disappointed in this hotel. Our room was on the third floor, so we took the elevator (which was in need of attention). The hallway walls on the third floor were apparently in the process on being redone…appeared to be white primer paint on all the walls and room doors. Some of the sheetrock along the top of the walls was missing. Upon entering the room, I found the bedding on the beds was stained and the mattress pad full of pilled fibers making it lumpy under the stained bottom sheet. Pulling back the bottom sheet on the side of the bed were clumps of human hair stuck to mattress. I went back down to the desk and told the person there about the bed and she offered me another room. I asked if it was any better than this, and she replied that I should be. It was also on the third floor. I went up to look at it this time without hauling all my luggage. Again, the bedding was unacceptable. The sheets and pillowcases were stained on both beds. I declined the room. I was not given a refund, as I had reserved the room days in advance, so I had to eat the 100 dollars I paid for it. Not happy.

Room was excellent. Should alert anybody staying there, was remodeling going on.

The staff was friendly and the room, linens and towels were clean.
Unfortunately there were a lot of little things in the room in a state of disrepair. When we arrived the door to the room was propped open which was concerning and there were no trash cans in the room. The door lock to the room needed repair, you haad to lift up on thw lever instead of push down. The threshold between the carpet in the room and the tile in the bathroom was missing.
The drains in the batroom sink and shower were slow and you had to hold the toilet lever down until the water drained to get it to flush completely. The door on the cabinet that held the refrigerator was missing but thw hinges were still on the cabinet.
This was disappointing.
