Incredible help and service from the staff. Communication was exceptional. I would definitely go back. Simple but everything that I needed to enjoy the Ironman weekend.

They asked us to park our second car in a sketchy area pretty far from the property by a big dark park. There was plenty on site.

Like most penticton motels, this is a lipstick in a pig type of place. Starting with the positives, the location is great. There are beach towels available along with nice outdoor seating areas. Check in was very easy. The place was very clean, except for the bathroom was very cobwebby.
We stayed in a suite so that my husband and I could have some privacy from my brother who travelled with us. I don’t think it’s stayed in often, as it didn’t seem to have the same aesthetic upgrades as some of the other rooms. There wasn’t enough seating for three people. The major downside was that there was no air conditioning in the bedroom. The AC in the main room cooled the bedroom a little but only with a fan that we brought and by leaving the door open all night. The shower was clean but the shower head was very low and extremely high pressure. The bed was firm but comfortable, the pull out was less so.
Honestly, I would probably have overlooked a bunch of the other stuff if there had been AC in the bedroom. For $260 a night, I just want to sleep even semi comfortably.

A friend and I enjoyed our visit. We spent most of our time on the shared patio, which overlooked the main drag and the lake. Great location. Rooms were basic with what looked like recent renovations. Comfy beds. High price, but compared to the rest of Penticton, it was fare.

Family kept up all night by domestic disputes. Won’t stay again.

Place was clean and cozy. Only issue is the windows need a sheer covering for when you want the windows open but don’t want people looking in as they walk by.

Spent afew nights here while we visited with friends, visited wineries and walked the waterfront.

This place was very disappointing from a vacation stand point. This is not a resort hotel in the least - no restaurant, crossing a very busy street to lake beach, no amenities, two lights in the room, no clock, very small bathroom with damaged sink, ventilation in bathroom not good, very small TV, no one in the office, communications via phone or text only. Over priced for what you get for room and services.
The only thing good was the bed comfort.

The motel is old and largely has not been updated, except for the bathroom, which is ok. The worst is that it is poorly furnished. The impression is that the owners are waiting to be purchased by a developer.

n room, good size even with king size bed. My only issue was the lack of light, a floor lamp might help that. Maybe add a picture to the wall as well.
Can’t beat the location and the proximity to the beach and several restaurants next door and along the beach front. Would stay again.

Very clean facility.
It is older and somewhat worn, as you would expect. The location is perfect!!
Steps from the beach and great food.
The convenience of the location is excellent.
Not having to fight for parking along the beach to amazing.
Great value for the price.
Friendly staff.

Beachfront; appeared recently renovated and painted; sparce regarding furniture; another 1 -2 chairs would have been nice; NEEDS bathroom & kitchen fans and over kitchen sink lighting; great access to laundry facilities; needs complimentary ice machine on premises; a few more kitchen utensils would have been nice, including non stick frypan; designated parking would be appreciated!! Especially with the current rental rate!

My son and I stayed just for one night to attend a show in Penticton. We had a very comfortable stay. The check in and out was easy. It was lovely for 1 night and would probably be a fun place to stay in the Summer. Just really easy going, quiet and clean.

Functional comfortable rooms. Kitchenette is quite small but works with all utensils cooking and cups/plates. Would like to have wine glasses to enjoy the okanagan wines. Would also like to see some artwork on the walls as it felt a bit too austere and could have a bit more pizazz. The location cannot be beat with beach across street and numerous restaurants close by.

They’ve put a lot of effort into remodeling the suites which is wonderful. Great location. It was quiet and clean. We’ll stay there again.

Stay was great, this place has been recently renovated and is steps from the beach. Staff is friendly and was very accommodating to a last minute change request.

The Okanagan Lakefront Resort was so poor we left and drove home after staying in the room for 20 minutes, after having to ‘self-check in’ which I am sure was due to the condition of the place. The building is in terrible shape – the stairs to the second-floor room have exposed plywood on them, with a piece holding a very insecure stair rail that was dangerous. The room was terribly dated, with no screens for the windows, and smelled so badly of strong cleaners we started to get headaches within a few minutes. There was a length of dental floss left on the bathroom floor, and the decorating was basically from the 70’s, as was the furniture, we were deeply upset and felt ripped off. We ended up leaving and driving home, arriving at 130am. I really feel the pictures and descriptors misrepresent the Okanagan Lakefront Resort. This is a dive quite frankly and not worthy of the name or price, which was the most expensive available to me for our general criteria on the Expedia site.

Just ok
Room itself though is clean and quaint
Check in was weird though as was told straight out if there was any thought of drug use the owner just just storm into room. That was a very first
Not sure how or why this is called a resort as no hot tub and no amenities
Just $125 to sleep over

It was right across the road from the beach. Nice walk along the sidewalk next to the beach.

I primarily looked for a place for the Ironman event weekend that can give me and my family a decent place to stay for 5 nights.
And my judgment is....it was superb! It was roomy, we have our own kitchen, quiet, parking is just in front of our room, lake is 62 steps away, service was good, restaurants are walking distance and it was close to where the Ironman finish line/village. I slept well, rest well and became an Ironman for the first time! So if those are a factors for your next Ironman trip in Penticton,BC then it’s been said and done. Happy trip!
