The area was very nice and close to all sorts of places to eat. The building looked fine on the outside, but the inside looked old and unkempt. Nearly every door needed painting. The room was terribly humid. We had to run the A/C at 60 degrees the whole time just to get it cooled off enough to feel comfortable. Then came the late night party down the hall. Very loud music started up about quarter til 10pm. The party was several rooms down the hall from us, but the music made our walls vibrate. We thought for sure the management would put an end to it. Finally by 11pm I had had enough and called the front desk. They seemed unaware. They said they checked it out, but I had to call back again at midnight. They apparently notified the room because the music was then turned down, however, I had to call back again because the music was still loud enough to vibrate our walls and the party people were up and down the hall talking and carrying on. The night manager said he was going to get his "team", which I took as "security" to talk to them. At that point I had to say that it better work or I would have to call 911. Thankfully, it stopped. It was a rough night. I highly doubt if I would take the risk of staying at this particular place again.

The staff were very friendly but the room felt dated, in particular the bathroom. The tub looks old. The towel bar a little crooked. The toilet handle needed jiggling to stop it from running. I always trust a Marriott but I think for the rates they charge, this one could use some updating

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is great -- about a quarter mile walk to the Rio Lakefront where it is very scenic and there are plenty of restaurants. The only downside to mention is that, while the room has plenty of electrical outlets, there aren't any built-in USB sockets, so you do always needs to have your own charger.

Lived up to expectations. No untoward factors as had been reported in previous reviews, that we were aware of. Stayed 4 nights in 2-bedroom suite. Friendly, responsive staff. Everything fresh. Oh, landline phone in room could be updated to include direct line to front desk - couldn't figure that out.

The staff was amazing very responsible polite kind that morning staff that mid-staff the daytime staff they were all wonderful they did or give me their names but I misplaced the card but each and everyone please their names were very important they all were excellent from the time we got there to the time we left I had a chance to come in in the morning to meet the staff the afternoon and the evening staff were all excellent please recognize that you have a excellent front desk staff there

The front desk staff was very helpful. The maintenance guys were great. The General Manager helped us greatly with long-term reservations. Everybody was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was consistently good. We will stay there again.

We got q late check in, in the hottest weekend ever, and my room never got below 74 degrees I. Night time was worst for some reason, maybe have to do that I was a the top floor in the corner at the top of the main steps that have access to the parking lot. The room was clean and equipped with the basics.

Great! We will stay again. However, the toaster was not working so we asked for another, which we received quickly, and that too was broken. I got an electric shock from using that second one. Please ensure all kitchen appliance are in working condition! Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, so the sofa cushions were used instead. Lastly, our door would not close easily and if not pushed very hard would be left opened. Door to room 107A must be repaired! Other than that, we had a great stay!! Pool was fantastic, wifi for work was strong and I could walk around the property with my laptop and never get disconnected! Work desk was great too. Breakfast did not disappoint, and the front desk service was top notch.

Its convenience to the attractions and amenities of the area is superb. Price was very reasonable. Gave it a low rating on cleanliness as it stated our room would have a cleaning every other day and yet no one came for the first 7 days of our 8 day stay. Also, the internet service was down the first day or two and spotty rest of stay.

Stay was ok. The breakfast was ok, but it was free, so no real complaints. The last night there was a room that partied on the floor above me, they were so loud till about 4am. The day of checkout the cleaner came into the room before 11am while I was using the bathroom. A little rude, but could also be language barrier. Regardless, housekeeping should not enter before the checkout time.

This is a problem I have with lots of hotels today. I have pet allergies and you allow pets everywhere. I wake up hacking and coughing. Could you set aside a few allergy-friendly rooms where pets are not allowed? Also, this was a mobility room but did not have a grab bar at the toilet, and the grab bar in the bathtub was positioned so that it was useless.

Front desk staff were very friendly. But the Room smell like cigarette all the time. Sheets were not clean. And when I requested to change room, staff said no rooms available to change. Room service only took garbage out, dis not change bed covers at all for my 5 night stay. Disappointed

My stay was excellent. Room and bathroom was cleaned to a " T " very spacious with Full kitchen and full size stove & Fridge. We Really enjoyed breakfast, Everything you could imagine was offered u can go wrong with this Hotel. Close by RIO Entertainment center within a very enjoyable walking distance. First, let me say that the staff at the front desk were all very polite and accommodating. The issues that I had were with the hotel itself. I stayed for four nights as I have recently relocated to the area. The television was broken in the bedroom of my suite; there was trash piled up in the hallways every night; and there were also people hanging out around the doors smoking, cursing, and essentially just loitering. I had to change rooms twice due to broken door locks. On my last night there, there was a mouse in my room!! The desk clerk was very nice. She apologized and moved me to a different building. While that building was clean and free of bags of trash in the hallways, the bed was itchy! I left there at 2:30am in my pajamas. I went and checked into the Marriott instead. It was one of the worst hotel stays that I’ve ever had. I am Marriott brand loyal, because I know what I’m going to get - USUALLY. But not this time, this place should be closed, fumigated, renovated, and turned back into a Residence Inn, because right now it’s functioning more like a cheap motel. I really hate to leave bad reviews, but my experience was really awful. I wouldn’t advise staying here.

Uncomfortable rooms with limited towels, toiletries, and light fixtures -- too much light with some and not enough with others. Bathroom faucet was splattering all over the place. Do not recommend. Over $600 for 3 nights.
