This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. I like the parking security with no extra charge, the view, and the comfortable rooms. I would recommend paying the little extra for breakfast because it was worth it! It’s cook to order. I’m sure I’ll be back for a 4th time soon

Stayed overnight for a work trip. Watched a most beautiful sunrise over the river while working out in the fitness room. Beds were comfy - rooms were super clean and parking was safe. Friendly staff. Glad I stayed there

Please do not waste your time or money staying here. We book and paid for the reservation through a 3rd party and union arrive the front desk took my CC for incidentals. Well, as we are walking up the the room I Received a charge notification from my CC. I log onto my account, and the hotel charged me for 2 nights! We checked out on September 2nd and I’m still battling with them for a refund. They also charged me for parking, which was never discussed at the time of check in. The room (431) stunk like feet and we found the hotel to be dirty. The location is pretty rundown as well and didn’t feel safe. Don’t waste your time or money staying here. Wish me look to get my full refund!

Charged more than expected; another traveller given keys to our room no real apology (a complimentary coffee may have been nice) thankfully we were all decent! Most staff members very friendly but having stayed at IHG San Francisco where room service was daily I was surprised that no service took place (not even coffee-tea in room topped up or towels changed during our 2night stay). Hotel was clean but compared to Edgewater Inn in coos county which was simply stunning this wasn’t as good. If you are visiting Portland (like us) for the first time look to book somewhere more south travel downtown involved a few bus changes and took a while, thankfully transport system excellent and took tram back from expo centre which involved a walk and crossing freeway!

I’m from Houston, my husband an I have booked with the Marriott and even the courtyard by Marriott many times and I have nothing but great things to say about thoes locations. However this location in Portland Oregon wasn’t the best. The property and over all look, smell, And environment were great. Staff was nice and welcoming but we stayed for 9 nights total And only had a refresh of towels Once when it was supposed to be every other day. And a whole new bedsheets, new towels, and toilet paper restock by Sunday, but it never happened. We had to door dash toilet paper because our housekeeping lady failed to do the re-fresh schedule. Hope this didn’t happen to a lot of the other guests as well but I hope in the future this is changed for the better.

My room was clean and comfortable. Courtyard has a nice view of the river. Conveniently located close to freeway. Indoor garage parking was great. It was nice to have a fitness center, swimming pool and hot tub.

The hotel was wonderful with good comfortable rooms great services. Courtney was very knowledgeable about what to do around town. Wynter the bartender did a wonderful job at serving people drinks and food. It was just sad she had to work all by herself. At one time she was serving 20 people by herself. I really do think she needed more help. I love that it was right by the water front. The hotel also has a pool hot tub fitness area outdoor fire pit and a gazebo.

I wish their was better parking beside that it was good. One more thing I wish someone came to clean our room and give us some fresh towel the first night. We stay there 2 night. Everything was excellent the front desk was easy going . They were nice to give use a credit $20 back for no parking. I will come back again. The food there by Starbucks was kinda pricey.

We’ve stayed here several times. The property is showing its age, but it’s clean and comfortable. The street access is very narrow, and the underground garage parking is very tight. They used to include breakfast, but we have noticed that none of the Courtyards do any longer.

My husband and I decided to do a small weekend getaway for my birthday! On a whim we booked our stay at the courtyard. We were so pleased from beginning to end with every aspect of our stay!!! Every single staff member we came into contact with were extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. You could tell that they moved with care. The grounds were stunning. And I can guarantee you that based on how we were treated this time around, we will absolutely be staying here next time (and probably the times following) that we find ourselves exploring PDX. Thank you courtyard staff for making this birthday one to remember!

Property was as expected. The lights in the bathroom were motion detected and kept going off every few minutes when trying to take a shower, which was annoying. Didn’t seem the cleanliest- some dirt marks on the couch, windows looking out were not clear. Walls are very thin, and could hear conversations of the people next door. Parking is $10/night. Parking lot is small and crammed if you have a midsize vehicle. There were people smoking weed in the garage on several nights.

The hotel was nice and clean. The view from our room was good. Had a good view of the water and Jansen beach marina. Nice clean pool and hot tub. The courtyard was a nice place to relax after a day of activities. The front desk so kind to store some ice cream in there freezer overnight.

I didn’t like that the bathroom tub walls weren’t clean and I didn’t appreciate the morning cafe employee lacking customer service skills. Our room was provided a complimentary breakfast due to the bathroom and because we didn’t have two he wanted me to take care of obtaining a second to accommodate my second guest. It was communicated to him that there was two of us and it’s not my job to know we should’ve received two. So instead of him saying no problem let me take care of this for you, he made me go to the front desk. We were tight on time and simply should’ve received better service than this. Even after asking that a maid come clean the tub, it was never done. So this will be the one and only time I’ll be staying at this courtyard by Marriott. Disappointed!

Bathroom door didn’t lock. We informed the front desk; they sent someone who had no clue… said, let me see if there is another lock available, and never returned. The bath tub won’t drain. There is a lot of neighborhood noise. Overall, won’t recommend.

This hotel is nice and very well kept. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. We wanted to stay here because of the restaurant and bar on site along with the indoor hot tub and pool. The bistro had very good food, and the drinks were delicious as well, afterwards we jumped in the Jacuzzi before settling in for the night. Our room had great views of the Columbia river, so if you can request a river view room, I highly encourage it! The room was very clean and everything wasn’t working order, nice and spacious.
