Comfortable stay, friendly staff, and easy parking. Absolutely love the hot tub spring being open 24/7. We come here once a year and will continue to do so.

Always a special stay. Located in the Hot Springs State Park, this historic building is a great stay. Location, staff, hot tub, and breakfast are all 5 star!

The hotel is old, which wasn’t a problem. The public areas were clean and well maintained. Our room looked clean, but the curtains were ragged, the some of the windows lacked screens. That was important because the air conditioning wouldn’t work so we had to open the windows.
Our biggest complaint was there was NO room housekeeping at all. We had to go downstairs to ask for fresh towels, coffee pods and soap refills. The rooms were quite expensive, about $200.00, per night. We had expected much better from a Best Western branded hotel. What we found was service from a super budget hotel. There was a sign, behind another sign on the counter stating the hotel cannot get housekeeping staff and so they can’t do daily room maintenance. The notice advised we could request service, but it was too late by then. If there is not going to be service then the hotel should reduce the price accordingly.
The breakfast was good, and the attendant cheerful. The hotel is very nicely situated, in front of the river. The park surrounding the property is lovely.

Trash was still in room- shower had black hair all over. The grounds are dirty. Breakfast was the only good part of stay

Stay was good. Was with my 89 yr old mother @ the shower was very slippery. Some type of surface in the shower would definitely lessen a fall such as a mat or stick on rough strips.

Beautiful area around this well preserved 1917 hotel. Darla at the front desk was great and very informative! Room and bed were just right. We’ll be back to fish and soak!

Our initial one night reservation was through Expedia. We like it so much we requested at the front desk to stay a second night. They were so accommodating and allowed us to stay in the same room.

Daughter raved about shower and the pump citrus shampoo! Front desk was super and shared history on facility. Breakfast was amazing and staff were engaging (interested to speak to travellers and off suggestions for next destinations). Stay here!!!

STAY HERE. My husband was skeptical when we first pulled up to the building, but the 1918 building has been beautifully kept up. Be sure to ask Darla about its history!

Great location in the park. Wonderfully clean and well appointed room. Hot tub has the minerial springs water. Wonderful breakfast. Great staff.

Sooo, we had a MAJOR hassle, becaue Expedia did NOT frwd the appropriate virtual payment method; it took 1 hour to resolve. HOWEVER, Renea at the front desk was awesome, helping us thru the entire mess, and really went out of her way to get us situated(even though we booked thru a 3rd party site). This hotel is quite nice, and our king room was awesome! Great firmish bed w/ great linens, and very clean. The bonus is the minieral bath fed from the local natural hot springs. I highly recommend this hotel, however I can NOT recommend Expedia....

Older hotel, thin walls can hear everyone next to you. Ac is very loud. Not worth money. Keep driving

We love the fact that the hot tub is actually the “Healing Waters” of Thermopolis hot springs. The property is historic, but with all modern amenities. Staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly. Beds are comfy and we’ll definitely return.

Friendly staff and comfy beds. Natural Hot spring fed Hot Tub was a PLUS ! Breakfast was great on Sunday Morning with a great guy in charge who was friendly, hard working and efficient. Older exterior with completely updated interior. Would definitely stay again!!

Mattress was very worn.
Shower surface was slippery and slanted.
Shower plumbing was backwards (started out very hot then went to cold), which could cause a burn for unsuspecting guests.
No elevator in this renovated historic building, which was not in the hotel description.

Their machine that programmed the room keys was broken so every time we left the room, the front desk people had to walk with us to the room in order to get inside. The staff was quite nice-it was as much of a hassle for them as it was for us but for over $200 per night, we would have expected to have a working key.

was old could hear guest in next room snoring and slamming doors

This property is not well maintained. The pool and the ice machine were both out of service. No house keeping was provided during our stay. We had to provide our own toilet paper when we ran out.

Clean, tidy, roomy, comfortable facilities and friendly staff.
The mineral hot bath and the swimming pool were a perfect addition to the stay.
I’m not an early morning eater, but the breakfast offerings were above and beyond delicious.
Location is idyllic in the State Park close to river, park, pools, and mineral hot springs. Great stay!

Hotel is old (historic hotel) but has been kept in great shape! Everything works great and the rooms are very clean. It was actually better than I had expected! It has its own mineral pool hot spring and is also right on the Bighorn River which is perfect for fly fisherman. Will likely stay here again.

Staff were friendly. Facility was clean. Conveniently located near the hot springs, and dining. Nice walkway near the river, great morning and evening walks. Very nice hot spring tub and pool at the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends.

Loved everything about this stay!

The only thing I would suggest is maybe changing the mattress on the pullout couch it was lumpy and not very comfortable! Other than that we had an excellent stay there the room was very clean. Breakfast was great as well.

The mineral hot springs hot tub was not working which is a big part of why we booked this place.
Over priced for what it provided.
However the breakfast was delicious

Great property. Clean and close to hot springs. Professional and courteous staff. Great!
3.0 / 10.0
This hotel has historic charm and great location however it is tired and not well maintained. The housekeeping carts and cleaning closets are left open in the main entry area where everyone passes by. There were no towels in the hot tub:pool area the entire stay and the hot tub/ pool is tired and not well maintained. The room had an odor and the overall cleanliness of the room was lacking. There were weeds in the pool and entry area where you would expect manicured grounds. The breakfast was good.
Unfortunately there are few other options for modern quality hotel standards in this small town. It’s sad because this hotel has so much charm and potential but just lacks for updating and management attention to make it what it was or could be. They charged $30 per pet and the room was way overpriced for the quality of the stay. Disappointed.
