Don't go in the slow season. Restaurants will close without notice.

It was not our first stay, arrived Friday at nnoon at El Conquistador. We had a flooding at our room, called front desk and housekeeping. We had to wait 2 hours until they properly responded and moved us to another room. Once we got the new room, we had dinner in the hotel. When we got back to the room the shower water was so hot and no cold water- that we couldn’t take a bath. Saturday morning day we departed the hotel and no one cared. Had prepaid and did not received refund.
Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t take the minimum reasonable attention to the situation.

The resort is beautiful but there are serious issues. Our first room smelled horrible from mold so I requested a room change. They still charged me the full $560 room rate but I demanded they compensate me so they gave me 3 days of complimentary resort fee. Due to the hurricane many rooms were wet so many guests had to have their stay modified. The beach is awesome but the boats often break down so they bring in smaller boats to bring you 15 minutes to the private island for the beach. The food in the restaurants is mediocre and very expensive. The breakfast buffet is $32 for very few food options. I will say the staff was excellent and the pools were nice. We liked the water park and lazy river although you must be 48in for the water slides. The stores in the resort sell mostly junk and it’s super overpriced. I was also hoping for more kids activities. Not sure if I’ll go back.

Was only 1 day but we used all the services. Restaurants, coffee shop, pool, beach. Was great experiences

Great family moment got ruined when my nephew suffered critical knee injury in one of the slides of El Coqui Park. He will need surgery. That specific slide attraction should be closed.

Beautiful place with excellent accomodations. This is one of top tier places to go to when in Puerto Rico!

We loved it. People are nice but service not as good. The kids club was not working.

Amazing property, would definitely go back!

Horrible stay. My wife was bitten multiple times over her entire two legs by bed bugs. The hotel didn’t care at all . I made a report with them . They moved our room. She was in pain from all the bites which itch tremendously. If you plan on staying there call an exterminator to inspect your bed.

My only complaint is that free parking should be included for guests.

My experience was amazing & like every year I will be back the best resort in PR

Beautiful resort!! Amazing pools!
Only complaint was the food. Should have been better at that price point. Venture out to eat, it’s worth it.

It has incredible views. But our room was terrible. Shower barely worked and you had to step down into a tub in order to shower..extremely unsafe. No vent in the bathroom. Rust on fixtures. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Loud workers and guests. Every night there was loud music in other rooms. ATVs ran by our room all night long. Fridge was so loud we had to unplug it. So getting sleep is an impossibility. We asked to change rooms were told they were booked. We got kicked out of the waterpark because of thunder 30 miles away. They charge some outrageous resort fee of $70 a night making it $350 for us and cancelled day trip! They charge $17 a day to park in their lot! Pool tiles haven’t been cleaned in years. Chlorine will stay in your hair and skin for days. Palomino island has a small swimming area no aquatic life and no rain shelters. We are not going back

The overall stay was a great experience. Rooms were dated and in need of remodeling. However the facilities were seconded to none. Great staff and great service!

Most beautiful resort in Puerto Rico

The property is absolutely stunning with amazing views. Plenty to do. But the food is incredibly over priced as well as the drinks. With the exception of Bono - amazing food. Staff was friendly , room was spacious , huge bathroom & closet. We will come back.

Amazing hotel, very beautiful, have lots of fun things to do

Stay was ok. Resort appears a little outdated in the rooms. Prices on resort are very expensive, but that’s to be expected. A lot of the shops and stores were also closed or under renovation.

Everything is good

Friendly staff, superb scenery, good beds, comfortable room, well maintained pools. Playing options can be better maintained.

From arrival to departure the staff was very friendly and helpful! The day we arrived, the staff was having a “theme day” where everyone was dressed in a “Hawaiian” theme. You could tell the staff was having fun and enjoyed the opportunity. In my opinion, they should have more theme days. Everyone still looked professional and it just added to the tropical and relaxing atmosphere of being on vacation. We visited several of the dining establishments. Jorge our waiter at Cafe Bella Vista was the best!!! He made fantastic recommendations and ensured our evening was one not to be forgotten. The private island is absolutely beautiful! Great for relaxing, walking the beach picking up shells, and snorkeling. The boat transfers to the island were all great but the staff of La Tortuga made this boat our definite favorite! They were a fun group! This property is a great location for visiting the rainforest, bio bay, and exploring the east coast of PR. A must visit, just down the street, is a little shop called “Frutta Chic” where you can find the sweetest & friendliest staff serving the most delicious ice cream and treats. My favorite was the chocolate dipped baby berries which they freshly dip while you wait. Absolutely amazing!!! We will definitely be returning during our next trip to PR!
