A lot was great about this place and we'd come back. A few areas of improvement. Despite Curacao using the North American Type A/B outlets according to numerous sources including the Curaçao Tourism Board, the rooms only had European Type F and they charged $2 for converters.
FYI swimming pools close at sunset.

Great Clean place inside and out! Friendly staff that were also attentive to minor issues in room. Nice size beach that you can snorkel on many fish and coral more so on the rougher side of water beyond rocks and at openings in between. Also connects to Mambo beach with a boardwalk that has many Restaurants and shopping. Sea Aquarium next door.

Let me start out by saying I’ve traveled to a few resorts in my life and have never felt so at home like I did with LionsDive. The customer service the birthday decorations they did for my daughters 16th birthday the amenities they have to fun and romance. I just loved it here. All staff was welcoming especially Eldrich. The onllyyyy thing I didn’t like was the cashless restaurants on the actual resort.

Everything was good. I recommend this resort and will return to it soon.

Great restaurants and beach access were right there. We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly.

The property and staff are very very good. The staff particularly were absolutely fantastic and friendly. The property however allows smoking everywhere in the outdoors areas which include the tables of the Hemingway restaurant were breakfast is served. As I was having breakfast on my 3rd day of a weeklong holiday, someone at the table next to ours decided to lit up and puffing that lethal garbage towards our table. I asked the staff if that was allowed and they said yes, smoking is allowed everywhere outdoors on the premises. This is the chief reason we won’t be returning to Lions Dive. To be noted also: 1. The property is located right next to Mambo beach which is a great area for nightlife, but if you are not on holiday to party, you will nevertheless suffer the nightly party music which on weekends gets really loud into the wee hours of the morning. 2. The ‘beach’ at Lions dive is a man made one and is part of a small marina- waters are beautiful but large motorised boats will go by really close.

This property had some great things— the beach is amazing, very close to some good dining options, and the beach( seriously the best part- clean, quiet and just amazing water) However, the rooms are small- barely any space for 2 carry ons to be opened on the floor at the same time and our rooms ac leaked over the bed all night. Think splatter on your forehead in 20 mins intervals all night long.

This is a cost friendly hotel in the middle of the nice beaches. Other than the quality of the room and no hot water, my stay here was good. Very friendly staffs.

First time in curaçao I was very impressed with the resort. I truly recommend it. They don’t have all inclusive but there are many restaurants you can go to. I love it. I have nothing negative to say about it. People are extremely nice. They all speak English

Great property. Few steps to the beach with Seaview from the balcony. A lot of restaurants, convenient parking, gym, great beach. Everything went smooth, would return there again

This property is beautiful and well maintained. The front desk staff is exceptional and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. We had a fantastic time both at the property, next door at Mambo Beach, and at the nearby SeaAquarium. The food was delicious at every restaurant we tried and they have quite a selection. It was a great trip!

Beautiful resort for a getaway from the madding crowd. The setting is adorable, the sea is calm and it is fantastic for snorkeling. I highly recommend it.

If you are looking for an area that has options for dining and don't want to pay all-inclusive prices, but want the all-inclusive feel, this hotel is for you! We picked it due to the beaches in the Mambo Beach area and knew we wanted to explore the island and not always eat at the resort. Our room was always cleaned well, our ocean front room was amazing, and we had a wonderful couples massage at the spa. Rent a car, explore the beaches and downtown, and come home to a wonderful resort!

We were very excited to stay at LionsDive leading up to our trip as the reviews were amazing however, after stayed there for five days, I was a bit disappointed. The location of the resort is ideal especially with kids and not having a car. However, many of the staff were unfriendly and seem like they didn’t want to be bothered with you. The Hemingway restaurant was just okay - there are much better options close by. The rooms were updated but could use a deep cleaning especially the floors - we had small children crawling around. Also in the middle of the day the ice machines weren’t working so you had to go to the bar but the staff seemed to be annoyed. We are very easy going and simple family that prefers to stay at an laidback resort but felt as though the staff didn’t care even just to say hi. After staying at LionsDive dive I probably would not return and would not recommend it. I arrived expecting the most and left desiring so much more.

LionsDive was a beautiful stay! The staff is so friendly! They were able to convert our US dollars to Guilders for free. They have a complimentary shuttle that goes to Willemstad. It leaves at 9am and returns at 1pm. All you have to do is put your name on the list! I love how they have refill stations throughout the property because they provide each room with refillable water bottles. The beach is absolutely beautiful! There are plenty of chairs and coverings so I didn’t have to worry about it being overcrowded. The location was absolutely ideal! The resort leads right into Mambo Beach Blvd which has plenty of restaurants and shops. On the property, there are already four restaurants to choose from and Mambo has plenty more. They only have two small pools, but that didn’t bother me because the beach was absolutely beautiful. The ONLY complaint that I have is that the beds were a bit too firm for my liking, but that didn’t hinder my awesome vacation. I WILL be coming back!

Our family had a great time at LionsDive. We have 2 children - age 13 and 11. The location was excellent. Lots of dining options within walking distance at Mambo Beach although the restaurants at LionsDive were very good and a little less expensive than Mambo Beach.
Our kids loved the 50m people - very clean and quiet up there and was just a nice spot away from the beach for a bit. Not too many guests seemed to use it when we there so it was very nice.
Everything felt very safe and we were very comfortable letting our kids walk around the resort on their own.
The snorkelling off the beach at the resort was excellent - it was a very pleasant surprise to see so many different and colorful fish right there off the beach.
We did hire a car for our trip as we like to explore the island and visit the different beaches around the island. Parking at Lions dive was easy.
My husband and I like to go to the gym - you get access to the gym at Mambo Beach included. It is smaller gym but has everything you need so this was an excellent feature.
We aren't scuba divers but it seemed to be a very good option if you were. Lots of scuba courses were being run off the beach there and it seemed like a good place to learn.
We were very happy with our decision to stay at LionsDive and would happily recommend it to others.

Love the beach front

The resort is conveniently located on Mambo Beach, has four restaurants and beside the aquarium, stores and more restaurants. The staff was attentive to my needs including a medical emergency. The breakfast buffet could use a little more variety. The working cats could use a little more attention.

Loved LionsDive. A beautiful property on a beautiful private beach. Lots of choice for food and drinks. Rooms are clean and accessible to all. Small fridge to keep snacks and drinks. Loved everything about it and would definitely recommend.

Nothing bad to say, everything went great, staff was amazing and always willing to help. Perfect location as well for bars, restaurants, activities and best beaches at Mambo, without being it too loud. Recommend it.

Terrible front desk staff. Attitude and not a smile nor welcoming. Cold food at all restaurants especially Hemmingways. Needs remodeling. Tiny showers not for adults. No water pressure.
8.0
The resort was very beautifully maintained had very nice dining options. I can't say enough about the staff...each of them were extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting places to and eat in Curacao. Having the resort right next to Mambo beach has its positives (shopping, more restaurants, bars, etc.) and it's drawbacks (clubs open until 3 with extremely loud music until 2 AM). Our room was right on the border of Lions Dive and Mambo beach which meant no sleep until after 2 AM for half of the week due to the clubs at Mambo. I would recommend staying at Lions Den, but would make sure you ask for a room on the opposite side of the resort, near Hemmingway's restaurant unless you plan to be out partying until 3 AM.

Great stay at Lions Dive! Would definitely stay again for the onsite dive operation and great beach area! The only cons were housekeeping not restocking coffee and towels on a consistent basis. Had to call the front desk a couple times for missed items which should not be necessary. Then, the service at the beach was terrible! We sat at the beach and not once did a server come by! I caught one when I was running to the room and placed a drink order, but that was it! I just walked to the bar and got my own drinks because the girls were so lazy. They definitely had time to stand around and chat and be on their phones though! They maybe worked 20 minutes out of an hour; not exaggerating!!! Still, we enjoyed the resort and beach!
