The property has everything you need for 2 people, it would be very cramped with anymore than 2 adults and 1 small child, the kitchen is very well equipped. Beds are comfy, it’s warm and clean and the sauna is lovely.
What they failed to tell us is that Saturdays is ‘change over day’ which meant we had to move apartments after our first night not giving us even 24 hours in 1 apartment, it caused us to loose a days skiing due to waiting around for a phone call to Inform us that the new apartment was ready which never came. We had paid for 4 days skiing and to loose a day was costly and dissapointing. The apartments are timeshares owned and even the staff said ‘it’s complicated’ when I asked them who’s decision it was for us to have to move apartments and was told ‘someone should have contacted us’ but this obviously didn’t happen. The directions to the apartments aren’t great either when you’re lugging your cases about in snow trying to locate the apartment block.
There is nothing wrong with the apartment itself so I can’t complain about that, it’s more the customer services and communication that’s the issue. I’m not sure if Expedia should have told us or the holiday village but to arrive late to be told you have to move in the morning at some point (5th eh couldn’t give us a specific time just to wait for a call which never came)

Such a great value! Comfortable beds, and bigger than normal 'european' shower!! Loved the towel warmer and the heated floor in the bathroom! Very friendly staff!

We (myself, husband, 7 and 4 year olds) stayed for 2 nights at the Holiday Club in December 2022. The hotel was welcoming and well presented in reception areas. We were in a room in the main building which was a king size bed and sofa bed for the kids. It was fine but a bit tight for space with us all in with luggage!
We all enjoyed the pool and the location being in the middle of the village. We also enjoyed that the hotel is kept pleasantly warm, but not over hot, as part of the 1 degree cooler scheme!

Hadde en overnatting i forbindelse med ferie. Barnebarna elsket badelandet og vi hadde fine store rom.

quiet old fashioned bed and room. it's minimal to stay a few nights. The room is not so warm during night, I should have covered blanket onto my face. and breakfast also very cloudy with lot's of people.

Room was neat, maybe a tad too chilly for my taste but otherwise good. View wasn’t that great though - a parking lot. Room had curtains but no blinds which would’ve been useful.Hotel has a cozy lobby and friendly staff. Reception is open 24/7 on season and closes at 22:00 off season.Breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast, nothing special. Some local treats would be a nice addition to the otherwise a basic hotel breakfast.Spa closes at 20:30 which is a bit early in my opinion, considering the fact that the hotel isn’t probably mostly occupied by people on a business trip. I’d like to enjoy the spa and the saunas a bit longer if the purpose of my trip was a vacation.Despite the couple things that could be improved (in my opinion) the overall quality of the hotel, service and location are great.

Not too romantic place to stay: no double beds in the whole hotel, the "spa" was really cold place (both water and air). Breakfast was lacking any extra effort, like eggs were served only boiled. The hike to our room was very long. Staff was nice and everything was just ok, but no above average surprises, I am afraid... Design was just not creative or customer oriented. I think that with the resources available the place could do better.

Our room was located at the far end of the building so we had to drag our luggage through the corridors, no lifts available,

We stayed in a hotel room at the Holiday Club. The rooms were a decent size, and in pretty good condition. The only down side was the rooms were not sound proofed too well, as you could hear noise from the rooms next door, and in the corridor, and from the level above.

our room was very big with a sauna, which was great. Location is central. Had to pay extra for use of the swimming pool at €20 each, which I wished we hadn’t, it’s not that great.

I highly recommend this property if you are staying in Saariselka. The only downside to this property is that if you are located at the Villas, you have to walk to the hotel property itself for breakfast and to go swimming, otherwise this hotel is absolutely fantastic.

Hotel was catering to large junkets of Brits with their kids traveling for 3-4 days to get Santa experience. They seemed to overtake the hotel. Otherwise quite nice with friendly staff.

The hotel is in a convenient location for the bus to Ivalo Airport (stops just outside). Also close to activity booking agencies such as Husky & co and Saariselka Booking and the supermarket. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm but dated. Breakfast is very good (waffles, cooked breakfast, cereals, yoghurts, different breads meat & cheese etc.). We missed our connecting flight from Helsinki to Ivalo due to the plane from Manchester being late - the hotel were very accommodating and we checked in at about 2am! One thing I didnt realise is that you have to pay extra to use the swimming pool (€18!) so we didnt use it.
