The Savoy was the very definition of Danish hygge! From the warm welcome at reception, to the lovely touch of wine hour for guests, everything was very cozy and comforting.
The room was immaculately clean, overlooking the nearby rooftops.
It is a short walk from the train station and very well situated for transit links to take you around the city.
Wonderful place, 100% would recommend.

I really love the atmosphere at this hotel, the old charming details, and the new cozy bar and reception. The staff is very kind, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Our room was tiny, and the bathroom is tiny, especially the shower. But we had a nice, quiet sleep, the bed was cozy,
We will for sure be back.

To old and worn out. Toilet wa too close to the wall. Impossible to sit on. Painting and woodwork not maintained. Open shelves with toiletpaper and towels in the main room.

The hotel is stunning the moment you walk in, beautiful decor, and just a visual delight. I was greeted by a lovely young lady who was attentive with information. The room itself was perfect for what I needed, everything was clean and accessible. The view into the courtyard was the highlight of the room, could sit and soak in a piece of paradise. The hotel offers a simple breakfast that can be enjoyed in the 24-hr cafe or prepared in a takeout bag. You're also able to enjoy a complimentary happy hour from 5-6pm. There was a lot of thoughtfulness in the approach of the hotel for these gestures but most prominently I truly appreciated their sustainability initiative to reuse, reduce and recycle. For me, it was fantastic to be able to sort out my own items and leave in designated containers located on each floor rather than accumulating garbage. In addition, I thought it was one step above that the team would also sort out the containers to promote recycling - I have not seen that anywhere before! Anita (spelling?) who checked me out was simply splendid, along with the other lovely hardworking ladies who always greet with a warm smile. I was welcomed to sit in the comfy cafe as long as I wanted after storing my baggage.
Note: Noise does travel but you'd come here to appreciate the restoration of a character building.

It is the second time I stay here, and I am unsure why I returned. Because the issues I experienced the first time came vividly back to me when I settled in my room this time.
Which issues? Basically, this is a motel at a four-star hotel price. The rooms are SO run-down, it’s kind of impressive. Walls are smashed up, dirty. The rug looks like it’s travelled through several decades of dirty shoes. The sink is cracked. But the worst is how dirty it is. Hairs everywhere, the bathroom, the otherwise cute window-seat, and the bed. The bed…. With a literally stained sheet. Just barely covering the grimy old mattras. So gross…. Why didn’t I say something while there? Because I am handicapped, and was not at all well. I had the energy to eat and sleep, that’s it… Also, no one paying 1.300,- for a room should have to point out dirty sheets and terrible cleaning. Then the lesser things, but at that price tag still relevant: break-fast? Barely there. One croissant, a tiny serving of youghurt, one juice and an apple. That’s it! Also, zero access to tea and coffee in the room. You would have to pay if you needed a tea before bed. At that price tag? Ridiculous. The only positive thing was the lovely girl at reception. Everything else felt like below bare minimum. And as I remembered from the first time. I will definitely not be back, and I urge tourist to go elsewhere; don’t let this be your first impression of our lovely city.

Very friendly staff and nice and calm hotel.
Not a big fan of the breakfast, but everything else was just fine.

The design of the room is very unique with nice and cozy vibe.
Hotel is located at convenient location, not too far from the central area yet safe and quiet place to stay with supermarket nearby
there are chic cafes around and the area is generally less rowdy
hotel staff is friendly and shares info on restaurants/cafes to hang on
highly recommend 💯💯

Extremely noisy. Could hear everything going on in other rooms and adjacent buildings. The shower window was completely see-through so we had to hang a towel over it.
Location is good. But it was not comfortable.

Rooms are small, bathroom was a little bit bad conditions. Baby bed was so expensive that we could buy new one. Staff was little bit rude. They did not say even ”hi” when you walk by or anything when we check-out. Never again in this place!

Older hotel, room dingy with paint chipping, etc. Sign outside hotel had half of the letters burned out, which accurately indicated the overall condition of the place. Overpriced, but staff was nice.

The door access system is a very good idea, however very temperamental and took several minutes to get into room, side door was fine. The beds were not at all comfortable, pillows dreadfull, however nice and peaceful room

Very old building. Very little water pressure for shower, bed mattress super soft. Overpriced for what you get.

The place was a good walking distance to a lot of amazing restaurants. It was an easy walk to major attractions and the city hall. The front desk receptionists were helpful in all aspects and were very nice.

The Savoy is an excellent, friendly, and clean hotel. The breakfast is ok, but the location is fantastic—a few minutes from the central station and quick shopping options. The room is small and clean but not air-conditioned. The staff was friendly, especially the receptionist who helped us through a hard time when I discovered that someone picked up my pocket at the Central Train Station.

Very noisy, zero comfort/luxury, very poor bathroom shower facilities

Very nice property

The room was nice, it was in a great location for us and our plans and reception was friendly and helpful. The room was a little tired, the springs on the bed were quite old and I’ve not stayed somewhere with a shower curtain in years but it was clean and comfortable. Could do with a few more sockets and better lighting for getting ready though!
The main issue was the noise, we stayed in room 201 over the courtyard and throughout the night a really heavy door or gate slams shut every time someone comes back or goes out. It was awful, making you jump and waking you up repeatedly. Even earplugs (which were provided in the room funnily enough) couldn’t hide it.
It was a nice enough hotel just maybe ask not to be next to that courtyard!

Great location for foodies being near the meatpacking district. Much less touristy than other parts of Copenhagen but was still lively and bustling with energy.

Good location, nice lobby and bar. Small and basic rooms and bathrooms. Thin walls….can be noisy. Poor breakfast options. it’s a coffee, an orange juice, a banana and a croissant delivered to your room in a paper bag or available to collect from reception. Eat elsewhere is my tip.

It was quirky and fun. It felt like being in someone’s home- in a good way. The rooms were a bit tired. Staff were friendly but didn’t have knowledge of amenities in the local area.

Great location and friendly staff, free 5 o’clock wine a nice touch. Room was OK for the price, small certainly not luxurious and bathroom basic

Sweet stylish Hotel in a very good neighborhood. We loved the stylish lobby. Room was good, a little more space would be perfect. Small shower with sticky curtain is not favorite. All in all a very good stay.

The hotel is in good location and has this nice danish energy in it. Boutique type. Wine o’clock at 17-18.

Great stay, everything we needed, nothing we didn't. The breakfast was a great way to start the day. Loved the bar for a low key night cap.

Great location.

Nice and cozy hotel where I have stayed a few times now. This time I did the check in in advance and chose a room, didnt know it was an extra 50dkk to do that. The staff were very helpful and left m a soda in my room since the reception was closed. Unfortunately the bed wasnt a ”king” but 2 single beds shoved together and since I was just one person they kept going apart in the middle of the night. Made it hard to sleep and a bit uncomfortable. Not very soundproof, I could hear the neighbors talk even though I was wearing earplugs(provided by the hotel. Some problems with the tv when I arrived but I called and it was solved. Very good neighborhood and friendly staff.
