The staff are friendly and helpful , the building is a little dated and could do with new mattresses but overall clean and comfortable
3.7
Nothing was a problem for the staff. We felt comfortable and safe.
The room was clean, fully Air Conditioned with plenty of clean water to drink.
This is our second time in Club Bali located on the grounds of Jayakarta and you can't beat it for value.
Thanx from Jeff & Karen

Staff were excellent.
Its a bit of a fixer upper but clean.
Only had one issue we had no hot water ti shower. We were offered to change rooms but as we were only there 3 days we decided not to change rooms.

We didn’t like it and left

The location was amazing and the wider property was enjoyable however the rooms need some maintenance and updating.
3.7
Great location but the rooms where a little old and cleaning/ housekeeping is every 2 nd day not daily

Always stay at this motel, first time using 2 bedroom suite, was great and good price.
Overall site is not westernised, its very bali.
Give location a try.
Beach is 2 minute walk from motel pool.
Staff are fantastic.
Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area

Booked a family suit at club Bali family suits which is not actually part of the the whole hotel showing of the pictures are incorrect!!!
first night we had no power, wen ever u have a shower water would leak all over the floor, toilet would always be blocked, only had a sheet on beds!
Couldn’t get towels at swimming pool because the pool advertised as club bali wasn’t actually part of the hotel. There was rarely any one at the reception, very disappointing
3.7
The Water pressure was non existant in the showers, its a joke the water pressure, ( not hard to add a pump inline to push water) the toilet had to be repaired twice in 4 days as it continued to drip and needed a new cistern ( that never happened) was still leaking when we left

we just had 10 days at Club Bali and have to say it is a great place to stay, huge 2 bedroom apartment on high floor we even had sea views ,the staff were lovely very helpful especially Sriasih from the moment she greeted us to the time we checked out she was happy to help with anything we needed a big thankyou to her for making our stay even better .We would definitely recommend staying here

Club Bali is situated within the beautiful grounds of the The Jayakarta Hotel.
However, it would be in the interests of Expedia to restrict its accomodation options to those that meet a minimum standard of 2/3 stars.
3.7
As expected. Was great that we could stay a couple hours later at a minimal cost
3.7
The property is old. The photos of the exterior, grassed areas and pools are of another resort. Club Bali family suites has no pools. It has a tiny fish pond at the entrance to reception. This is the closest thing to a pool that it has. Had great difficulty getting a refund and moving to a proper resort

I contacted the hotel twice via hotels.com, once by email and once by Facebook to ask if the hotel do transfers from the airport and could we please have an infant cot and never received a reply, communication very poor. I could even see they had seen my message on Facebook and just chose not to reply. We arrived late at night and so of course... no infant cot. There also weren’t any towels in our room so we had to ask for them the following morning, but due to the language barrier the housekeeping staff just kept telling us to leave our towels on the floor, which is fine... if we had towels to leave on the floor! So after a 10 minute exchange of feeling like we were accused of stealing towels they finally told us they’d bring some up. It’s an unusual set up where it’s right next to the jayakarta so you use their pool but pay cash for poolside service instead of charging to your room, and when we went to the restaurant the day after we arrived there was this strange moment where they wouldn’t seat us but couldn’t tell us why, it turns out that we had to pay our reception for breakfast and then they’d give us a ticket for us to take to the restaurant (owned by jayakarta) I’m sure we weren’t the first people to make this mistake but instead of telling us what to do, our family of four was just left standing there wondering what the hell was going on. So we just went to the coffee club next door where the service was superb and the wifi free.

The Jayakarta Resort is great other than the lack of sun lounges due to selfish people reserving them for extended periods when not at the pool and the ridiculous amount they charge for a Bintang (60,000 Rupiah) - around twice what you pay immediately next to the resort on the beach or street. Even much more than in nice restaurants nearby.
The room was tired but about as expected as this isn't 5 star accommodation. Some of the switches on the lamps made me a little nervous. Smelled a little musty but wasn't a big bother.
The cleaning left a little to be desired. You could clean you feet, walk around for 5 minutes inside and they would be black again. When our young son unfortunately threw up on the sheets they quickly replaced them, which was much appreciated.
Disappointingly on check-out we were hit with a 350,000 Rupiah (approx. $35 AUD) charge as there was a small pink mark on one of the sheets from some wet bathers inadvertently being placed on the sheets. I'm sure some Napisan would have fixed them but there was no point arguing. Left a bad taste in our mouths as we left the room in tidy condition.

Hotel is old and needs a facelift. Some minor improvements would life the rating for sure but overall would happily stay again for the price!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with everything we wanted.

When our flight was cancelled and there were phone issues, they really help with relaying information with Expedia. They also arranged rides for us as needed.
3.7
This accommodation is all about best price for central location. Straight off the beach. The accommodation is a great base if you're like us and only need the room to sleep in and shower. The kitchen facilities are a good bonus as well. It also has the advantage of being able to use the pools of the Jayakarta (even though its tough to get a pool side seat).
3.7
We likes the kitchen for making food. Also the pool area was really nice. Good location. Downside was no wifi outsider the room, not at the pool either.

This was a great place to be if you like to stay in the hotel area with maybe small kids . The hotel is looked after well but is starting to date abit now . It has entrance to the beach and other enterance is good location to fooderires . Wifi was terrible but they said this was insulated and had technical problems .

Disappointing. Suites older and in need of refurb. Noisy at night.

Older style but great location on the beach.
Bed and pillows were ok. All Linen & towels looked old and discoloured and unclean. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Only one bathroom worked from day one when we got there. Toilet was cracked and flooding the bathroom with toilet water and shower tap broken over the shower spa and also flooded the bathroom when used so we couldn’t use. Sad thing was they said our apt was booked it straight after we left so next person checking in would have had that problem also. No offer of a discount for not getting what we paid for either. They Also questioned us about a missing glass from the kitchen which we had no idea what they were talking about as we didn’t take or break any glasses. They made me hand write a letter stating so. Even though good location, I wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and take good care of all your needs

We always enjoy staying at Club Bali. This was our second stay and we will be back again.
The rooms are comfortable with all amenities required for a family.
The local area is brilliant. So many dining options and close to beach.
My only negative is that the rooms with connecting doors aren't very good at keeping sound out. We had another family next to us who were extremely loud and we could hear them til all hours of the morning. Also, wifi is quite poor. This was the same when we stayed 2 years ago and hasn't been improved. This needs to be rectified. It is 2018 after all!

The location is very good - part of Jayakarta hotel area - with direct beach access. The guests can use the hotel pools and services. The hotel Hardware of Club Bali is not maintained well from a German standard but One can hardly complain compared to the similar hotels in the neighborhood. We paid around 70-75 Euro for the 1st of September while the other Legian beach hotels will charge at least 100-150 euro per night. For the families with kids, the hotel with the pool and the beach is a much better choice than Villas
3.7
Had a wonderful stay here. It older but clean. Family of 4 stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Walking to the beach directly accessed from property. Hotel is one of several on a large property. Close to restaurants and beach in Legian. Area is fun but not as crazy or full of too many drinks like Kuta. We left a hotel in Kuta to come stay here because the property was better, cheaper and with better access to beach. My cons would be that it is dated and the shower was cramped but these are small things. You get great value for a great price.
3.7
What was good:
- large rooms with fully equipped kitchens
- free unlimited drinking water
- full use of the pools and facilities of the Jayakarta Hotel without their steep prices
- close to the beach
- free pool towels
Not so good:
- sofa bed very uncomfortable
- shower head in desperate need of cleaning
- airport pickup never showed up in spite of confirmation in 2 mails. When mentioned at check in nobody cared
3.7
Older property but a fantastic deal. Great for families. Property directly on Legian beach. Very clean. Staff helpful. Will come again.

We had a lovely stay as always .cant beat the location and lovely staff.
