The pictures of this hotel that are posted online or either highly Photoshopped Or were taken 20 years ago. Once we pulled up to the front of the hotel, I knew they were going to be an issue because it looked nothing like the hotel we viewed online. Upon entering the hotel alarm bells begin going off in my head As this was a no smoking hotel yet the aroma of cigarette smoke and pot smoke field the area around the front desk. However, the rooms looked amazing “online” so I wanted to see them. As I walked down the hallway. The smell was no greater nor any less, however, the floor tiles were missing and broken as I walked by the laundry room and Glen inside I could see that it was in disarray and looked very dirty. When I got to my room, the lock that I was to use my key card on had been tampered with and looked broken, but it worked, I open the door and was completely taken back. The room was filthy. Paint was missing on the walls and doors. There was blood on the towels, the bed was broken, Most of the towels on the floor were peeling up or missing, and the door looked like it had been kicked many times from the inside rather than the outside. The bathroom was either uncleaned or never cleaned as the toilet was filthy, the shower had mildew and soap, gum everywhere, and as I said before, there was blood on the towels. I would not stay there with my wife and daughter, it was too filthy and extremely sketchy. We walked in and to the room, then left and drove back home.

No one was at the desk to check in. Everything looked dirty and shabby. There were holes in the walls. Conditions looked unsafe. We never checked in and asked to cancel reservations.

Everything in the hotel is absolutely filthy. The hallways look like they haven’t been swept in weeks. floor in our room was dirty had to keep wiping our feet off so we would not get dirt in the bed . There were stains on the bedspread. I would never ever stay here again we have stayed Red roof before I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. I should’ve read the reviews for the warnings and you think that people would clean this place up since they have such bad reviews. Horrible horrible place to stay wish I could’ve switched it, but I don’t know how, I cannot believe hotels.com list this place with all the bad reviews.

Door wouldnt double lock. Chain on door was busted. Bathroom door will not shut and needs painted. Hole in wall where plug was put for tv with no cover. Room was very dark especially bathroom. Window ledge was filthy and frame warped. Main neefs painted and you can see daylight all around it. Felt very unsafe. Will not recommed to anyone.

We were close to Ark Encounter
The facility was run down. The door going to 2nd level stairs had no hardware, carpeted stairs had dirt and trash leading to the hallway that was not vacuumed. Room air conditioner was not cooling — filter uncleaned and room smelled like smoke!! Do not recommend staying here!!

Do NOT stay at this Red Roof! Nothing in either of the 2 rooms we booked was cleaned or had been cleaned in a long time. There is mold, cobwebs, sticky dirt filled floors, stains, holes in walls, holes in the tub, hair in the sinks and tub.
We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at the last minute and didn’t read reviews first as it was late at night. We were shocked at the state of our rooms and none of the other ones were any better. The owners have let this become a run down, long term low income housing.
We asked for a refund and the front desk gave us back our second nights money and apologized for the lack of cleaning. Because we had checked in past midnight we had to stay that night and I didn’t sleep at all.
It was noisy all night and the police were called by another room due to noise from one of the long term tenants.
We checked in at a different hotel the next day and the lady at the front desk said she used to work at the Red Roof but quit because the owners never put money into cleaning or maintaining the property.

There was a hairball in the tub, bugs in the sink, dead bugs on bed, TV remote was broken, bathroom doors would not shut, and tissue stuck in peephole. The hallway stunk like urine and weed. People across the hall and next door argued and slammed doors all night. When we left the police were coming up the stairs after a group was kicked out of the hotel. They refused to give us a refund.

Our room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but as soon as we walked in the room reeked of smoke. Asked the attendant about changing rooms and was told it was the only room available. Decided to suffer through as it was only one night. I have a bad reaction to cigarette smoke making it difficult to breathe. Around 2:30 in the morning our room was overwhelmingly filled with the smell of cigarette smoke - I don't know if it was the room next door and it was coming in through our vent or someone outside our door, but it was intense. It was so bad I contemplated spending the rest of the night in my car as it was hard to breathe. My husband said it was too hot to stay in the car. I ended up getting a washrag and squirting toothpaste in it and putting it over my nose (an old nursing trick) and even had my head under the blanket. Sleep was sparse that night. Definitely the worst night I've had in a hotel.

The lobby of the hotel was absolutely horribke. It smelled of cigarette smoke, dirty rugs and animal pee. The lady at the desk was having issues filling reservations with not enough rooms to accommodate the reservations. I'm surprised Expedia would be making reservstions to this facility without having someone inspect this facilities prior to using their name to send customers ti this horrible place. ANY QUESTIONS? SEND SOMEONE THERE.
