We enjoyed a four night stay. Myself, my husband and our 3 year old. Great service and friendly staff. Great location. Felt very safe walking around at night and down Duval. Cafe on site had very good food. Small rooms. Pools were warm enough to swim but sadly no shallow area for children to wade in. Overall we enjoyed and would stay again.

Greeted well but we are unloading luggage, staff member helps carry them up to looby, takes a tip and then we find out that we have to carry them back down the steps to get to our rooms. Patio door couldn't get open, remote for the tv did not work well, bathroom lighting was good if you like a poorly lit bathroom.

Stayed 2 nights which gave us an evening and 1 day to experience the Florida Key area (our first trip). When checking in, a couple were having a big dispute with office mgr over lack of service and unmet expectations with property. It was a significant birthday event for the wife and the husband wanted it to be special. He was furious. Our experience wasn't all that different. At checkin we were offered an upgrade. I asked about the cost difference and satisfied and accepted it. When we got to our room and noted a lack of decaffinated coffee, we called and requested same. I was told someone would deliver it and he did. When the packages arrived they weren't marked in English so I asked the fellow if he was sure it was decaffinated. He assured me it was, but he spoke very little English so may not have understood. It was important to get it right because I have an adverse reaction to caffeine. I trusted the service and drank 2 cups next morning. Ended up spending most of our one precious day in room trying to recover. I called the front desk and told them what happened. Did receive a call from office mgr that evening asking if I wanted her to call an ambulance. I declined. When checking out I asked to be refunded the upgrade fee as compensation for their mistake and our lost day. The Front Mgr was unbending & declined. In the end the upgrade fee was double what was stated at check-in. Not at all happy with this property's service mindset.

Great place to stay in key west. We had an oceanfront room with balcony. Room is big and comfortable. Beautiful view. Only downside was, there was construction at the sand bar and that was closed . We will be back.

We had an amazing time this past week at Southernmost Resort. Having beach access was very important to me and we used it daily- the beach was sandy and most of the seaweed was cleaned daily. The pools were fabulous! We liked being at the quiet end of Duvall and didn’t mind the walk or Ubering to bars and restaurants- helped get my exercise in daily. Would recommend an oceanfront room for sure!

We went to key west for my birthday and stayed at the Southernost Beach Resort. It was beautiful views, and good food. It is conveniently located next to Duval St which is there main strip for food, drink, and shopping. Very beautiful place.

Great location, very accommodating staff. Only complaint would be that everything on the resort closes very early as far as bars / restaurants with no option or even front desk area or vending machine for getting a late night snack, the only vending machine that had drinks was empty almost everytime we checked (we heard it was the end of their off-season so maybe that’s the explanation for early closures.) Also, the hotel recommended the most expensive excursion options when we found much cheaper, equally as nice options on our own.

Did not get new clean towels second day staying there, did not get room cleaned til late afternoon and then they still did not clean it- only made beds. Pools are not cleaned, cannot see feet in them they are so cloudy/dirty! Upgraded to ocean front yet it was an ocean view if you looked sideways.

Location was great. Some staff were really nice some were out in left field and non engaging Our room was nice. Bed was very hard and pillows were horrible. There were supposed to be afternoon snacks as part of the VIP but there was nothing offered. Facilities were good 4 pools. Lobby staff were nice.

The location is ideal and beautiful however the resort was lacking in all other areas. The beach area was small and filthy, not to mention it smelled like hot garbage and a bottle depot. That was the least of our concerns. The pools were nice however the pool decks had garbage everywhere (straws, dip containers and the like). We asked the hotel staff if the hotel had a shuttle service available to take us to an excursion so we could avoid paying two parking fees for the day. Despite having plenty of southernmost hotel marked golf carts at the front they would not drive us 8 minutes away. Extremely disappointed. The last straw was the service. The bar staff was rude and unhelpful and the front desk and concierge was worse. When we checked out of the hotel I had 3 bags with me and 4 staff stood and watched as I struggled to open the door. Not one of them helped or even offered to get the door. Overall it’s clear that this hotel knows they will survive based on location and they do not care for guest happiness and they do not offer even basic service. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend to anyone.

Property is very nice great location. Booked it to be on the beach but the beach was not available due to construction and an event which gave us access on Sunday. That was not previously noted when I booked but I have to say the front office manager Alexis accommodated us appropriately. Would come back again.
