A lovely place to stay. Easy to fine, ample free parking, comfortable room with good facilities.

Unusual it is hardly a hotel. But it is a fair enough B&B

Booked a triple room for 3 male adults , tried giving us a double bed with a pull out bed ,
and he said i booked the incorrect room even though my booking confirmation states 3 adults and 3 single beds ,asked for another pull out bed or a quilt so 1 lad could sleep on the floor and they said no and if we dont like it leave , I am absolutely disgusted with the male receptionist , Worst so called hotel ever been to

Check in is 4 pm per the inns website but expedia shows 2 pm. I arrived about 1 because of the train schedule. The innkeeper was a bit flustered and I offered (ands I usually would) to drop my bags and come back later. But he said it was fine and made me coffee while the room.was prepared. The room was quaint like staying with relatives. Good enough value but not fancy.

I called ahead as requested on the booking, as we were due to arrive later than 10pm. This meant that we were required to do 'self-check-in' which basically meant finding our key under a mug and letting ourselves in. I understood as it is a guest house and not a hotel but then all the lights were on in the house and I could hear the TV was on, so seemed a bit strange they wouldn't greet us. The room was not very spacious and there was no wardrobe. The room was in desperate need of a revamp with the décor being very old fashioned and some fixtures/fitting being quite worn. The breakfast was offered at an extra fee which seemed unreasonable considering their business cards advertise them as a bed and breakfast, which in my experience means breakfast is included in the price. It was good but nothing to write home about. The woman hosting had very limited English and so it was quite hard to communicate dietary requirements etc. but she seemed nice. Overall our stay was fine as the location was very convenient for us (Hever Castle) but I do think it is very overpriced considering how outdated / old-fashioned it is.

It was great experience, the rooms were fine and overall look was that of bed and breakfast. The staff is what made the whole thing great. Victoria was there constantly, she either cleaning or helping you out with something. She cooked the breakfast. I was there for a wedding, she found me a cab how to get around Victoria is what made everything so much better

Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean but dated. Linen and bedding are very old and matress was well used. Overall noise is low.

Good for an overnight stay close to Gatwick Airport. Nice local pub with good food.

This guest house was chosen for it's price and convenient location to gatwick airport. There was a local charge of £15 for keeping our car there for up to 16 days which seemed reasonable. A price of £50 for the night reflected the convenient location but the facilities were a little bizarre with very thick carpets, floral EVERYTHING, a lot of models of rabbits and an absence of wifi. However, the owner was very accommodating in arranging our transfers with a local cheap taxi company (£10 each way).

Gino and his wife were very hospitable. I was able to come and go as I please the room was clean and comfortable and was good value for the money. Thanks for your kindness

I only stayed for one night but the staff were courteous on arrival. If staying for business great location as close to gatwick, but still near the countryside so being awoken by the dawn chorus is a nice touch! Tea and coffee available in the lounge 24/7 and a continental breakfast for those departing before 0700. Parking is at a slight premium but as there are only 7ish rooms it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Rooms could do with a lick of paint but with free wifi and keys to both your room and front door, security is high. A home away from home

I was very impressed by the kindness of the owners and their willingness to do whatever they could to help. The room was large and clean. The garden was peacful and the communial lounge and breakfast area was friendly and welcoming. A lovely stay, thankyou.

A nice family run guest house in close proxity to gatwick. Breakfast and wifi is included in the price. Only has 7 rooms so quiet and personal. Considering how close it is to the runway, aircraft noise was fairly quiet to non existent (depending on which way the aircraft are taking off).

I only met one member of staff that spoke any English. The condition of the hotel was terrible and anything that was done, was done on-the-cheap.
This place really knows how to cut corners. It was embarrassing! The single bed in my room didn't even have a mattress cover, and the bed was obviously broken before. I have taken a picture of the how the bed was mended (and without its sheets).
No kettle facilities in the room, very few plug sockets, internet kept disconnecting, and the smell of cigarettes hits you as soon as you walk in the front door.
Wide birth is my advice.

Staff friendly. No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms only in the dinning room. Overall the rooms basic. Breakfast choice not great and quality average. the hotel has a lot of potential but needs some TLC.

*Dinner tasted well and chef was cool
*Comfortable room
*The bathroom and toilet facility was spacious and clean

The couple who owns the B & B is very nice and accommodating. They went all out to provide us with good service. The house is 15 minutes from Gatwick in a neighborhood, so you will need a vehicle to get to town and back if that's your intention. Drawbacks: Our room had 5 beds in it, all touching, for the 5 of us. The coffee provided was instant coffee. Positives: nice owners, clean room, free parking, felt safe, reasonable price, flexible.
