Nice place to crash after the TMB. Liked our room, including the next that opened to the mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful, they just seemed a little unstaffed the night we were there. We sat in the lounge and had a bottle of wine, the bar tender was doubling as the receptionist, she was really friendly and helpful when available. Felt bad she was doing both jobs.

Charming stay in Les Houches at the Chalet Hotel Du Bois. Staff were incredibly friendly and facilities were perfect for our stay. Excellent pool, bar and restaurant facilities. Bedroom was perfectly comfortable for our ski stay and we would absolutely stay again!

Staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough. Room very clean and amazing views. Not too close to local lifts but just put your name down the day before and their own mini bus was ready and waiting and bang on time and just a 5 min trip to the main lifts. I hear people moan about the pool being too cool (get a life!) for me the temperature was perfect and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and included fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs and bacon. Chamonix short bus ride to main town but plenty to do in this lovely resort of les Houches. professional and pleasant stay. Thank you to all the ladies on reception. I will return! Dr Stokes.

Was greeted by the most kind and handsome young man after a long trip from the US. Everyone from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff were so welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely return, next time with others!

Chamonix hotels were full due to UTMB event. This hotel was quiet, peaceful with a good view of Alps. Very relaxing after a day of long hikes.

My husband and I stayed here prior to setting of on our Tour du Mont Blanc trek. It was a very comfortable stay. The room was quite basic, but had everything we needed. Centrally located in Les Houches, within 5 min walking distance to a big supermarket. Also about 20 min walk to the Bellevue Cable Car station, where we started our TMB trek.

Nice Hotel in Les Houches. Free parking. The staff is polite and available. We had a room on the ground floor to the back garden very confortable for our dog, with a fantastic mountain view, I suggest to renovate a bit the room, removing the fitted carpet and cut the weeds in the outdoor area of the ground floor rooms. Some clients charged the breakfast to our room, I hope by mistake, but the reception was nice to trust in us.

A very nice hotel in a great location. Nice views of the mountains and close to all the hiking with the added quiet of being a bit out of town. The room is comfortable and clean, with an amazing shower which was very much appreciated after a long day of hiking. My only complaint is that there is not coffee in the room or elsewhere until the breakfast.

Really good little hotel, conveniently located, with super friendly staff. Perfect for a snow trip. Everything was very good for the price, not 5* luxury but not 5* price either. The restaurant is good, and well priced. Drinks in the bar are not too expensive either. Didn't get to try the pool but it looks like it might be great after a long day of skiing.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were great . The food was great, the pool facilities are amazing and the views are amazing. It seems they are slowly renovating the rooms as our room on the third floor had a new bathroom and different clothing storage arrangements whereas we on the ground floor had an older bathroom . Anyway we could could easily live with that. The restaurant is amazingly good value for dinner and we requested raclette one evening which was lovely

The staff were fantastic always friendly & welcoming, nothing was a problem from arranging bookings for restaurants to dropping & collection from the bottom of the piste. We had a fabulous time as a family in this hotel. Well done to all the staff from breakfast to evening meal. Thank you the Millers.

Great hotel. The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. Lovely breakfast, comfy beds, good pool and sauna. Very useful shuttle to and from the slopes everyday. I can’t praise this hotel enough, such good value for money. This is our second time there and we’ll definitely be back.

The staff was so forthcoming, it was amazing. We felt like we were guests at a family home. The hotel appears a little outdated but that has its pros in that it feels very cozy and comfortable. One can really let your guard down. Our kids were so loud and excited, but we didnt really feel worried or embarrassed. The breakfast buffet was great and filling. The pool was a lot of fun and being so close to the slopes of Les Houches was very convenient.

Booked a room on the Mont Blanc side but the view was partially blocked by the eaves of part of the building which was disappointing, however we were upgraded to a room with a balcony so it was nice to sit out and watch the sun go down. Didn't use the restaurant as the options were quite limited, only 2 options, and hubby is a fussy eater. Also didn;t ues the pool as only there overnight. Good location, a short walk into the centre with some really nice restaurants
