I loved it. My only criticism is that the staff bugs a lot when youre in your room. Either to get the room service car or to clean… its kind of annoying and theyre relentless about it

Wonderful experience!

The room was $200, resort fees, and two different taxes added up to $75 more and $45 valet fee to park car for 3 hours! Room was basic hotel room, crowded pool and over priced drinks ($20 for a weak marg)! To top it off no complimentary coffee in the lobby! You would think after we spent almost $500 for one night in a crappy room that they would have coffee. Nope. Such a rip off! Never again! We are local and they need us for the summer and what a waste of our money!bathroom Sink was burned, room hot and a total rip
Off to locals!

It was a beautiful stay. We took our 5yo grandson in an overnight staycation and he had a great time in the pool with all the kids' amenities. Wait staff at each restaurant were fabulous. Lovely grounds. Highly recommend.
4.3
Beautiful facility, excellent pools, wonderfully clean and spacious room. The shower was amazing - great pressure

Was amazing as always !
4.3
Very safe area and convenient to shopping.

The property itself is really nice inside and out. Of course at a place like this they overprice just about everything so be prepared for the sticker shock of just about everthing.
We went to the lazy river area which was pretty cool. Just know that outside public can pay for a pool pass here so it was pretty crowded with non hotel guests which is okay but would have been nice with less people around though. To get away from the kids at the other pools, they do have an adult only pool area which was nice and quiet. No outside service unlike the other pool area so that was a bummer but all in all it was a more peaceful experience.
They have a gym that we used and it has the basics of what you would need for a good workout. It was clean and spacious.
All in all it was good experience. The cons I would say is we did experience a little rude bartender guy at the pool. I think a little more cleanup around the pools after they close would be beneficial. We returned to the pool area early next morning as there was still trash from day before by the poolside. Lastly, forced to pay for parking is a bit much. Most other resorts ive been to do not make you pay for parking so thats a turn off for sure.
All in all though, I'd recommend going here.

The property was just as pictured and for the conference we attended it was very spacious. The shopping center close by was great.

The Westin Kierland was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a conference at the hotel for this weekend, which made it very difficult to even get a cup of coffee or have the phone answered when we called with a problem. Our stay was not great because a) when we walked in the AC in our room was not working. We could not reach anyone by phone to get someone up there for quite some time when we finally did. They said they’ll send someone up when they can so we went to the pool, came back over four hours later and it was not fixed so we had to call again and I reached out to hotel.com to help me fix it. B) Waited in line for about 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee in the morning, c) Staff by the pool were grumpy and even rude. The moral of my review is; don’t stay there if a conference is taking place.

Great pool . Awesome fast and friendly maintenance. Needs more attention on the pool service side. Overall great stay
4.3
Most of our time was spent at the lazy river; your employees were so polite and accommodating. Great breakfast also.
4.3
We loved our stay

I booked this for my mom and aunt for Mother’s Day as a little staycation, and they absolutely loved it. They cannot believe how friendly everyone was and how clean it was! The pool and drinks were amazing.
4.3
The rooms are nice but the bathrooms could be more upscale. Overall a nice & convenient hotel, nearby great restaurants & shopping.
4.3
The property is nice, but lacks polish of a premium resort. The staff was pleasant. Our lower rating on the service is because the rooms weren’t cleaned until late afternoon and would’ve been better to have come back from a day at the pool to a clean room rather than someone knocking on the door around 4:30 in the afternoon. Of course on checkout day, they came knocking at 8:30am asking when we were leaving. Very nice staff but the schedule is strange. Our room was nice, however it was a Murphy bed and the walls are paper thin and our neighbors woke up around 5am with no regard for anyone including a few very loud x rated moments. Also, would not recommend being on the lobby level as people are going back and forth all night and walls are thin. We should have requested a move but we didn’t. We won’t be back. We usually stay at the fairmont Princess up the road but thought it would be nice to be close to Kierland Commons but I think we’ll stick to the Princess as the resort is a step up, they take care of the little details and do a morning service and evening turn down at predictable hours.
This property is a good one if you are a dedicated Marriott rewards member with points to burn but I wouldn’t recommend paying for it when there are better options close by.
4.3
Need more dining options on the property.
Food/Drinks are overpriced
4.3
What I rate very poorly is that they gave us a view of a horrible roof and we spent 5 nights looking at that horrible roof and no view.
4.3
Would have liked to have been offered a different room away from construction noise during the week.
Staff very friendly and accommodating.
4.3
Fantastic property, clean, helpful and friendly staff throughout.

the location couldn't be better.
I booked an upgraded room with a view. when we checked in, in the midst of throngs of convention people, i asked if my view could be of the golf course. she said " no, we're really booked, as you can see, we have big conventions" so, we were taken to our room #1081 ( i think) it was the first room on the first floor right off this incredibly busy and loud lobby. it was an ADA room and the mattress was on the floor. the small window overlooked a stucco wall. i said no. we went back and the bellman took us to a second room.THAT room had yellow tape covering the balcony window saying "do not use" and the AC didn't work. it was also an ADA room again (?) again, i said no. the third room was acceptable. the BR sink was clogged but i was exhausted and i wasn't going to move again.
4.3
The room was located on the first floor directly next to the loud lobby due to the convention. I woke up to construction taking place outside my window and room. The construction workers were able to look into my room through the large window, they realized I was in there and then covered the whole window with tarp and it remained covered for the rest of my stay. My bed wasn’t even a real bed. It was a Murphy bed that lifted off the floor frequently. I understand it may have been late and I did not book with the convention, but allowing someone to experience that stay in what is supposed to be a nice hotel is rude and disrespectful.
4.3
No internet for 2 days. Then I got the opportunity to pay $14.95 per day for regular internet.
For the prices they charge this is unacceptable!!!
4.3
hair dryer didn't work, safe didn't work, seems to be aging a bit but staff was great :-)
4.3
Our balcony was taped with plastic, under construction, unpleasant experience
4.3
Beautiful property with amazing amenities and best of all, steps away from amazing restaurants and shopping!
4.3
Staff was amazing and utilities and amenities very accessible and convenient
4.3
The snakes in the lobby were phenomenal. Best thing ever.
4.3
Beautiful property! Great staff! Excellent location! We will be back!
4.3
When booking was not aware of unavailable restaurants
4.3
Nice, clean. Nothing crazy special, but a good place to stay
4.3
We enjoyed our stay at the Westin Kierland. Lovely property and grounds. Nice bar options but almost no decent dining options but tons in the area and free shuttle so it was all good.
4.3
I liked that the resort had planned activities daily for children. Also loved having sporting events televised on a huge outdoor screen in the back courtyard area. There was nothing to think of that we did not like.
4.3
