Fantastic hotel, great location for visiting Palace of Versailles. Cheap bakery a few doors up, supermarket across the road.
Struggled in the heat without aircon, but other than that it was fantastic! Would stay again!

Nice walking distance from city center.
Very hot this time of the year. A couple of fans would at least have been helpful in the small breakfast room.
Basic cold breakfast, no ham. Not luxourious but mot bad.
Very small corridor. Not at all sound isolated between rooms. Friday night a bit boost in bearbeta streets, But not on Thursday night.
Very small bathroom. Not very comfortable bed.

Avoid this hotel! Tiny toilet cubicle with missing wall tiles and door that didn’t shut and looked as though someone had kicked it in at some point. At 5’8” tall, I could not sit on the toilet without my knees touching the wall. Shower cubicle also too small to bend over in. Had to ask front desk how to turn on the water - they apologised for not telling me in advance about a “secret” way of getting the taps to work. No air con and no fan in room. Slept (badly) with window open and bothered by street noise from rubbish trucks and other vehicles. Shutters on windows rusted out. Definitely not even a 2-star standard. It was so bad that I didn’t stay the second night - though I had paid for it - and I booked another hotel for my second night in Versailles.

Old style Hotel, Very Good stay to vist the Palace of Versailles and convenient to take the train to Paris for sightseeing

Welcoming & friendly. Good size double-room, comfortable bed, quality bed-linen. Shower with good pressure & plenty of hot water.
Within easy walking distance of all amenities including train & Versailles Palace.

Clean, nice and safe place to stay.

Close to Chateau de Versailles, yet not crowded nor "touristic".
The area is nice and within walk distance from the Versailles-Chantier station.

I had four nights here. The location in Versailles is superb - close to train stations and famous sights.
But my room had something to ask for - there is e.g. no electrical socket at the desk, if you are working (like me). I had to use the TV´s electrical socket...
Bed is OK.
The floor is "bumpy" - and the list to the bathroom loosened...
So - it´s OK - you get what you pay for at a two-star hotel in France.

The staff were very helpful and informative. Shower was difficult to operate.

I don’t understand why this hotel is so highly reviewed. No air conditioning in the Summer, no working WiFi, and hints that breakfast is included but it is not. A woman walked into our room at 8am while one of us was showering. Staff didn’t help to fix wifi. Shower gel in the shower was completely empty. Shower itself wasn’t fully bolted to the wall and was hanging off on one side. Tiny bathroom. We were given hand towels to dry ourselves which were tiny.
Bottom line for the price we paid and mosquito bites we received from having to keep the window open for cool air, we would have been better off camping.

The guy who received us was amazing super curtuos and gentle. Is well located and regarding the price is safe, clean, cozy and accessible to the chateau.
The area is calm and there is no lift but it's not a big issue.

Met the price and value expectations.

It was a quiet hotel in a decent location near the palace of Versailles. Toilet facilities interesting!

Although the room is not big, but the bath water is really big. It is really comfortable to take a hot bath after a busy day. Some hotels have very little hot water. But this hotel is very comfortable. It is not far from Versailles.

Very good location hotel overpriced hotel needs a a refurb had to ask for towels rooms weren't cleaned daily. Also was told when checking out room hasn't been paid which was incorrect as your email stated City Tax outstanding. Staff pleasant decent Wi-Fi.

+ Good location and clean hotel.
- The wifi was broken/unreachable to my room, and the shower door was missing so water was all over the bathroom.

Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable beds and the staff were accomodating. Good wifi

Breakfast is not included. You can have full breakfast in a nearby restaurant for a better price

Worst hotel experience ever. We arrived in the morning and checked into our hotel. After s long day we got home and was met with an extremely impolite receptionist who told us we did not have a room. This caused a discussion since he would not let us in to the hotel. After 10 min discussion the man called the police. After talking to police and showing that we had a room (with all our stuff in). After the police left, he did not say sorry but instead asked my wife why she was with a man like me - she felt very insure and was not sleeping the whole night. If you want to have a room without Aircon, not clean beds and toilets as well as very impolite people working there you will for sure enjoy this place!

Good location in city. Super helpful staff when out of his way to help us find a place to park our car.

We had high hopes for Le Home St. Louis but were sadly disappointed. The young men who work the desk were very nice, but the hotel itself was a let down. We were not able to check in at the published time. When we were finally able to check in, our room was quite run down. There was no air conditioning so the first floor room was quite warm. The room was old and musty, the faucet was coming out of the moldy countertop and the shower was clogged. We only learned the shower was clogged after the front desk person had to enter the room to turn on the hot water after I tried to take a shower. We were moved to another room and the shower in that room was clogged and smelled of sewer. So, after another thirty minutes the hotel attendant brought me to the last triple room. It had not been cleaned from the previous patrons’ stay. We were asked to wait and the hotel attendant would clean it. About 45 minutes later he came to our room exhausted and sweaty to let us know the third-floor room was ready. For a third time we packed our things and trudged our bags up the steps. This room was much more updated but was still dirty. The rubbish bin had dirty diapers and garbage from the previous patrons that smelled terribly. Once we finally settled in after nearly three hours of moving room to room, we left for dinner to find everything closed. We came back and tried to sleep but found it difficult because of the outside noise And warm, humid conditions. Two thumbs down.

Great! The hotel was close to everything to see in Versailles via walking. Hotel was quaint and the room was extremely comfortable. The only problem was that the room I stayed in (room 23) had a almost hole-like depression in the floor in front of the bathroom that made me worried the floor was going to cave-in or something was going to break. Besides that, experience was great. Fast WiFi, extremely comfortable beds, and friendly staff that even leaves free plain and chocolate croissants for guests at the front desk at all times during the day!

The location is quite good, and quite close to the main street

Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom very nice modern. Staff very friendly. Just location very remote.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I have stayed in numerous hostels with less problems and nicer staff. While the hotel advertises that they speak English, it is very little so a question or conversation is out of the question. I slept the first night in the bed only to awake with over 50 bed bug bites. When I asked for another room and informed them of the problem, they told me that it wasn't their problem that their hotel had bed bugs. Since I was unable to find another place to stay on such late notice, i was forced to sleep in the tiny bathroom in order to avoid more bed bugs. I would never recommend this place and the experience has made me question returning to France in the future purely from how rude the staff was.

Wish we could have stayed another night. We had airline problems and hotel desk attendant was super helpful and had quite good English. Room small but comfortable with nice shower. Quiet street (unlike the room we had in Paris) Five all the way, especially for the price and compared to what we had in Paris.

Hotel was a short walk away from long stay car parking, train station and the Palace de Versailles. Also close to some late night groceries and some little take aways whilst being a short walk from lots of restaurants and bars in the centre. Room was comfortable and clean, not a bad size for Paris. Staff were friendly but didn't speak amazing English (at least the person on desk when we arrived didn't) and so found them unhelpful for information about parking. Especially when the site we booked from said on street free parking which is not the case. But there are long stay car parks about 10 minutes walk from the hotel which allows you to pay into the next morning in time for you to renew for the day before exploring or going into central Paris which we found useful and not too much hassle. Didn't try breakfast as it seemed expensive for what it was and there were Patisseries on the walk out to get fresh pastries. Unfortunately no coffee or tea making facilities available, except at breakfast time. But overall a comfortable, simple stay for what we wanted.

Very close to Versailles yet far enough from the masses to give a wonderful feeling of France. We arrived early & they were most accommodating.
