Our room was very clean and in great condition. The staff were freindly throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was plentiful and of high quality with many choices. We highly recommend and will stay here again.

Put the pastry chef was the highlight of the stay very kindly making gluten free pancakes for the 3 celiacs in our group each morning.
The hotel in the new section was modern and clean we were in the other wing where the rooms with more beds are and three rooms were very basic and a bit unclean. The area is ok but not great at night for children. Pool area was nice tho.

One word describes this hotel, DATED. First, the positives. The location is in the heart of everything. If you're in Phuket to party this is a great place to stay. The views from the tower are amazing, so try to get one of those rooms if you can instead of the low rise ones. The staff understands how to be in the hospitality industry. Now let's get to the negatives. The décor in the hallway and the rooms needs a overhaul. Also the bed was harder than steel. There is a ramp to the low rise unites and it is STEEP! Very hard to navigate with luggage. The shower was very tiny. The rooftop bar was smaller than the rooms and should not even exist. I don't know why they wouldn't have updated it but it looks like something from the 70's.

We asked to cancel the rest of our stay and then went somewhere else after the first night stay.

Great location with friendly staff and amazing pool!

We stayed in a suite that was large and spacious, ideally sized for a family of four. However, the room was really worn and old, and it showed. There was a general sour/stale smell throughout the room, noticeable from the moment you walked in. The furniture desperately needs replacing as it is worn and old, contributing to the room's sour odor. The showers in one of the bathrooms leaked, and the air conditioning in one room did not work; it couldn't be adjusted. However, the cleaning was impeccable.
The noise in the evening and nighttime was dreadful. Despite staying on the 22nd floor, the music from the surrounding streets was so loud it felt like being in the nightclubs themselves. Our children did not sleep before 2 AM every night, which was a nightmare. We also met other guests at the hotel who had tried to change rooms for the same reason. This should be clearly stated on the hotel's website, as the noise level is significant.
The pool area seemed newer than the rest of the hotel and was quite pleasant. Particularly, the service we received at the pool bar from one of the male staff members was outstanding. We also used the fitness room, which was well-equipped and nice.
The food at the hotel is generally very bland and touristy, mostly consisting of junk food. Therefore, we ate out every day.
The smell in the room and its condition, combined with the street noise, unfortunately, make it a place we would not consider visiting again.

We had a very odd experience staying at this hotel. Our second day there, the staff came into our room unannounced and told us we had to run the water for some reason, so we did. However, later that night the shower would not work. Additionally, there was virtually no privacy given to us. There were multiple instances where the staff entered our room unannounced and without knocking or asking if they could enter. I felt very uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay because I felt as if someone could walk in at any moment. Overall, very strange experience and probably would not stay here again.

The staff was very attentive. I visited the hotel post Covid so the breakfast buffet was not the same less choices of food and the hotel lobby had a very funny smell. I stayed on the pool side this visit and had to to walk up and down an annoying ramp several times a day to get to my room. The hotel was in a central location to a lot of shopping and eating and a 5 minute walk to the famous Bangla Rd.

EXCELLENT STAFF.

If any downfall would be the pool is only opened from 7am to 7pm. Due to the activity and arvo peak traffic you get back about 6ish.

There are 2 types of property here. The new building appears ok. The older building is fairly ordinary and the walk to and from these rooms to the main building , or to leave the property are a bit of a hike. We stayed in the royal wing (older building). Have stayed at other properties in the area that are a lot nicer, and also cheaper.

I've stayed at The Royal Paradise Spa a few times and still love this hotel for its wonderful staff, brilliant location and convenience. My grading of this hotel has fallen however as the place has lost a little of its sparkle over time. I spent 3 nights here in May 2024 and found some areas could do with some refurbishments. Its ironic as i was only here 9 months ago and i had no such concerns following the conclusion of my stay then. Out of respect i will discuss my concerns directly with the hotel as opose to this general platform. I certainly would still consider staying here again and perhaps i would still recommend it for its location, i just want this hotel to maintain its high standards which has kept me coming back. Please invest wisely so i can look forward to coming back soon

The service was just okay, staff members are trying to fill in the service but I guess it needs better management. You can't find the cleanliness & the service of 4 x stars.

The hotel is okay, very noisy surrounding though. Needs more service attendants.

The hotel staff, rooms, accessibility to nightlife were amazing. 5*....There are a number of laundries, yes laundries who will enable you to take home clean clothes - unbelievable. The one small minus, is the club - "cruise" which is quite close to the front of the hotel, which seems to believe it is necessary to blast "music" out from 1030pm to 1am - which we found ridiculous. When we found some earplugs the problem was resolved, but this was the only minus. The hotel is clean and staff are amazing....Food/drink is relatively on a par with outside. So enjoy - we recommend...

Lovely hotel. One of the best hotels to stay in Patong with amazing facilities. Walking distance from the Patong beach and Bangla road. I booked it during my anniversary and it didn’t disappoint.
One feedback: please upgrade your tv so that guests can connect to Netflix and other OTTs.

More shuttles or motorcycle taxis to the beach would be appreciated.
6.0 / 10.0
The pool is too small for the size of the hotel.
The hotel is a victim of the "barbarians" that have taken over Patong. Rudeness everywhere.
The suite was fine, not wonderful.
