Nice location and walking distance to beach. Room was outdated and everything looked like it was falling apart. They are doing renovations. Our room had a hot tub but water was cold and the shower was cold in the morning as well. If they make some changes we might stay here again.

Original room wasn't ready. We got a different room that was under construction.

our stay was not the best with all the construction going on. It would've been nice to have been informed instead of being caught off guard and no warning of all the workers on the grounds. when I booked the room for a peaceful one night getaway w/my girlfriend and came across the place and seen the pictures I was sold. I booked a room with an ocean view because Both of us love the costal area and living 2 hours away in the Central Valley and not able to get out that way to soak it up very often we were excited. When getting to the place we instantly notice all the work going on. The front deck told us we would have to take a certain route to avoid construction to get to our room. We were ok with that. But then what happened next is where our stay took a turn. Entering our room after a long drive ready to enjoy our relaxing stay we unpacked and laid down on the bed for maybe a short nap or just some peace and quiet with no kids running around was instantly interrupted by the banging of a hammer. But we understood they were working so let it go. Decided let's make a cocktail and thought let's go lounge on our patio area and enjoy our view and listen to the waves and enjoy our drink. But as we sliding our curtain open to the sliding glass door we were given a scare but construction works right outside our door. Not allowing us to be able to sit and enjoy the area we paid as part of the rooms perks. Having to close the curtain cause they kept looking into the room as the worked

Anytime we stay at Pacifica beach hotel is always a great time on this one, however, it was bittersweet because we went for the weekend. To spread our dear friends, Ashes in Half Moon Bay. As she had wished, but it was beautiful and it was sad and, we will miss her dearly. The next day we were able to attend the fog fest, which was pretty amazing. The view at the hotel is always spectacular and breathtaking, and having the Jacuzzi is always the best. When it's right there in our room anytime we go to Pacifica, the jacuzzi is what we look forward to the most.

I love this hotel, I have come here twice & each time the rooms have been spotless & the staff is friendly. Easy check in/out process. The jacuzzi is so cool to have in a room, easy to use. Spacious room & great price. I’ll definitely be back again.

Great place to be. Thank you

I’m not a very picky person, my check in was great, the room was ok, I think it need attention where the tile floor do the transition to carpet, the hedge of the carpet is worn out and if you are not wearing shoes or sandals you can hurt your feet with the nails that hold the carpet on place( it happens to me) the other thing is they should enforce the regulations on their policy, about loud noise after 10:00pm. Other than that I enjoy my stay there, close to the beach, the puerto 27 restaurant (food was great and waiting time was very long, but at the end was worth it)

This is our 4th stay here in Pacifica. We love going here especially during the Gog Fest. The property is being renovated and is a little outdated but comfortable and welcoming. The staff has always be helpful and friendly. The vuew even with the "partial view" rooms are beautiful, overlooking the ocean and beach across the street. Being from Pacifica, we appreciate this home away from home feel . The Peruvian restaurant next door has great atmosphere and outstanding food. This is by far our favorite hotel in Pacifica.

Great views from super large shared balcony and large room but the place needs updating very badly. Bathroom had an access for the jacuzzi tub that was half open from the bathroom. Tub was in bedroom. Guess they are famous for their jacuzzi tubs.

When we checked in we were given rm 1003 & the window locks were broken be held in place by paper towels. The rm smelled og mold & weed. The back door was left open with a lit weed blunt left onto the out A/C unit.
Were we then changed to rm 211 which was nive however the A/C unit didnt work.
The next day we were given a different room, rm #208 ABSOLUTELY an AMAZING view of the ocean. However there was blood splattered onto the ceiling, the bed sheets had blood on them, whcih we had them changed Immediately.
The hospitality was AMAZING, they were friendly & willing to work with us to find us a different room.
Other then the multiple room changes, we had a nice stay.
The ONLY reason if we decide
To come back, would be to stay in a Full ocean view room.
Also, parking for a larger vehicle like a Suburban or a normal size truck can have its challenges.

This hotel has plenty of charm with spacious rooms and scenic views. It's a bit run down, and has some noise from Highway 1, but it more than makes up for those facts with its amenities and location. I would happily stay here again.

The location is great. It’s centrally located if you want to do hiking on the coast. Room needs to be updated. However, our room was quiet and we had a good view of the the ocean.

Great location and view. Rooms were dated which is ok. They could definitely do simple things like touch up paint where furniture had been moved.

The rooms were clean. I loved the pretty white and light blue interior of the room. It matched the awesome sea side environment. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Pool was clean. We could literally walk from hotel to the beach. Great beach and surf. Hotel emailed me at moment of stay name of staff member who would cater to any needs.

Room didn’t feel clean. Things were broken and found silverfish. Shower was really small. You can see rust and dry rot outside. You can tell it’s an old building that needs major upgrades. The pictures online are deceiving. I’m not sure we would go here again. Maybe if it was the only place to go to we would but that’s a maybe. On another note the staff there are really nice and helpful. We also got to see whales from the shore and a beautiful sunset. The other upside is you can walk to the shopping center or the tacobell which the tacobell is right on the beach. Kinda weird tacobell sold alcohol.

Loved the room, location, and view. As others have mentioned, the walls and baseboards a pretty beat up, but the bed and jetted tub were nice.
My only disappointment was not the fault ofnthe property, but the hall and outside wreaked of w**d. I couldn't keep my patio open at any point because people were smoking on/ around their balconies. I did not bring it up to staff because other guest were already staring me down without the guilt of being a snitch.
All that said, I got an amazing price and would definitely stay here again

Our accommodation was for a partial ocean view and the front desk staff knows about it but I mentioned that it’s our first time staying and I put out there if there is an available full ocean view. The front desk staff did not hesitate to consider my request, check for any availability, and voila!!! Her gracious accommodation of my request supplemented the excitement my girlfriend and I have. The balcony offered a picturesque view-our view even included watching humpback whales coming in and out of the water line. Gorgeous-simple location. The upgraded room offers a nice two-person tub jacuzzi with jets well-appointed targeting usual achy spots of any 50ish older people, like us. Location is also a good nice walk to and fro the beach, surfers, and stores. Thanks to Pacifica Beach Hotel. Cheers ! ! !

This place is very old a run down. This place had holes in the walls everywhere the bed was so uncomfortable. The worst part was that the elevator didn’t work so we had to carry our luggage all the way up to the 3rd floor. The hot tub was really outdated and gross. I turned on the jets and then the water turned brown. The shower was so small I was literally cloister phobic. Overall this listing was not at all how i imagined.

Not a lot of places to park and the beds aren't very comfortable but staff is great ocean is across the street and shopping near by
