Bad sewer smell from single bed bathroom (we stayed in a suite). Overall fixtures, paint, etc. are old. Noisy AC units.

Good option for a big family.
Too expensive for a big facility with no functional wheelchair available, no bell boy, smelly bathroom, not clean pool and no open cable tv.

Great location. You have very good options for dining and entertainment at walking distance. But on Sundays all of these places close really early

First the all , they didn't have to change rooms because the AC made a lot of noise. later in the other room the toilet did not serve the water deposit and we decided to stay in that room for the reason that I am a disabled person and it was a lot of trouble to be moving from one place to another. When I make the check in, I mentions to want a room near the elevator and it was the opposite, she gave me in the last level floor and the most remote from the elevator but since when I found out about the room, I only called the front desck to make a complaint.

We arrived in room 242 the carpet was wet, the next room had a water leak, when we moved to room 272, the heating in the kitchen area never worked, and the shower drain was covered with gray tape, and the next day they knocked on the door if I need to clean the room at 8 am, too early, since the departure is at 12 pm

The hotel met our needs for the evening. The outside and lobby looked great but the area of our room needs updating: fresh paint and carpeting. There was a bad sewer smell in the hallway and the further down the hall we walked toward our room the stronger the smell became. We couldn't tell if the smell was coming from outside or if it was the carpeting in the hallway. When we went to dinner though, we did not smell the sewer smell outside.
We were given a room on the first floor, but it was the furthest room on the main floor (down two long hallways). The hotel did not seem that busy, yet we had a long walk to get to our room.
The inside of the room was clean but the television had a lot of static (maybe due to the location of the room)?
We basically only needed the hotel to sleep for the night and for that it worked well for us. However, we would not book here again.

With the name of hotel this hotel needs update. Rooms are dark and carpet seems old. However stuff are always welcome and kind. Next hotel few option for food (night), which they speak English. Overall not bad place to stay as business and getting your stuff done

I stayed on the DoubleTree for 3 nights and the experience was really good, overall.
Although the hotel is a bit outdated, the comfort inside and outside the room made my stay memorable. Also, room had plentiful of space: way above average among other hotels in Saltillo

The hotel was very clean and safe as we were driving from Guadalajara back to the US.

Very nice suite, great service, the only issue was when family was in pool and were not notified that there was going to be an event by hotel staff so they were asked to leave, which cut short the fun.

A clean hotel, friendly staff. The room smelled a bit musty, but otherwise very nice. Our room wasn’t ready, so they gave us an upgraded room that was ready. Breakfast was wonderful. Pool was clean. Very nice hotel.

A group of colleagues traveled to Saltillo on business, and this was an excellent hotel. The suites were spacious with full kitchens and a large table in the main room, and the bedrooms were private. The two bedroom suite we were in had two separate bathrooms and TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. The beds were very firm, which was great for me, but a colleague indicated that she was a little uncomfortable. The décor is dark and a little out of date, but well maintained for the most part. It will be time to update the bathrooms soon, as there was some water damage in the corners and to the wallpaper. There are many restaurants within walking distance with excellent food and good value. Security was good and a shuttle is available (but ran late!) The front desk staff spoke English well. Breakfast was solid, with traditional Mexican food choices. I would definitely stay at this hotel for future business travel in the area.

My friend lost his cellphone, and we could not state it, and are not very sure about it, but we think the waiter at the hotels restaurant took it. Thats just the bad experience we had. And again, we can not confirm it.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the Saltillo airport, which was good. For a hotel that has American in its name, it was funny that very few of the staff spoke any English. The rooms were well thought out but needed updating as many mechanical items were worn out or broke. I'm pretty sure the shower didn't have a scald preventer as it was either WAY too hot or cold, no intermediate warm temperature. Indoor Pool was okay. The weather was cool and windy during my stay. So windy, that I thought I was in a wind tunnel where they test cars. The wind howled through the hotel hallway throughout the entire floor. The restaurant in the main building served little variety for breakfast and nobody spoke English. When I tried the restaurant they show on the website (Mezza?) and tell you about when you check in, they were closed, both nights I was there. Add to that no vending machines and that led to no dinner. Overall, the stay was a disappointment and I will try either the Hampton Inn or the Holiday Inn a little further down the street.

The hotel is well situated if the trip is for business as it is near the industrial zone and the airport and fine dining within walking distance. The rooms are quite comfortable and spacious. Another advantage is the sports club within the facility with the only drawback that some noisy parties are held on weekends and with difficulty to find parking.

the internet didn't work, and my tv would turn on and off by itself.
seems to have a very uncoordinated front desk. I paid for the hotel online ahead of time and when I arrived they charged my credit card again; then when I checked out, they gave me a different guest's bill, which I didn't realize until later.
