It was very nice of the staff to let me know that all rooms with double beds faced the highway, and it was also nice of the staff to ask if I had a preference for having a room on the first or second floor. It would have been good to also let me know whether the noise levels on the first and second floors were different. I didn't share a preference for the first or second floor, and I was given a room on the second floor. The highway noise ended up being extremely loud and kept me and my daughter up for most of the night — particularly not good for me because I was in Sacramento for the marathon and really wanted a good night’s sleep. My husband thinks that it might've been better to have a room on the first floor because the fence would have blocked the noise, though it’s hard to know for sure since we would been exposed to more foot traffic too. In terms of cleanliness, the room was great with the exception of the flush buttons on the toilet. Not a fun job, but those could use some cleaning. I am glad that there weren’t mini shampoo and conditioner bottles as those are not eco friendly at all, but it would having the refillable economy size ones on the wall for use would have been nice. The room was a bit small for 2 double beds, but I think the price point reflected it. LTDR: biggest issue was the highway noise, but the room itself was nice (albeit small) and very clean for the most part.

The place was great, however, the bed's mattress was a little lumpy and there was a definite sag on the left side of the bed near the middle.

The first two nights were great. The last nigjt things were a little noisy. I was next to the room that had washers and dryers in it for the linens and the last night there was a couple of times that it woke me up from the noise.

This is my 2nd consecutive BAD Motel 6 experience: I arrived at 14:40 and was refused a room, without checking to see if one was ready. He was abrasive & told to come back in 20min. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels/motels thru-out the US and I’m aware of this very general time restriction. However, I have NEVER been refused so close to check-in time. This “hospitality” clerk never bothered to check to see if a room was ready. Eventually (at 15:00) I was given a room that faced a very busy street & freeway on-ramp intersection. I asked for a room that faced away from the noise but was told that the only rooms with a fridge & microwave faced the street/freeway. So, I went out and bought some earplugs. I could not afford a 2nd night of poor sleep. Finally, I’m here for business & rely on the desk to set up my laptop. There was no outlet available where they had the desk. The outlet was covered by a wall mounted TV which I could not budge. I have to unplug the microwave to use my laptop. Right now, I'm waiting for my $100 deposit to be re-credited. I'm afraid the desk clerk will retaliate. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again. Used to be my go-to.

I was very disappointed I said $60 cash for a deposit when I checked in I told them I had a dog
So the following day I was checking out to get my $60 back and they refused me my money back and also accused of doing thing I didn't do like accusing me of smoking marijuana which I never do smoking. Which I did in my car not iñroom and said there was hair on blanket asked me if I had a pet I said yes so they basically made up things to not go e me my money back am very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone

Nice staff, clean room, privacy is respected. It was interesting parking was fenced off needing card key access but it made sense allowing all tenants to have a spot as parking was limited. Some nice options to eat in the area and freeway access was about a blocks distance away.

Room was nice and modern. Door to restroom was hard to open and close. Needs to get fixed. Towels had black marks on some of them and found hair on one of them. Beds are not that comfortable and pillows are so flat.

Smelly, dirty, gross, cheap looking yet expensive for the room. I wish I could get a refund for it. Cuz I did not stay there. 20 minutes was the longest and I checked out that night

Gated parking

This place right now appears to be overrun with homeless people and drug users. The lot was in poor condition, considering the gated lot. The room next to ours had the door wide open with cats tunning in and out of the room with a raggity looking couple who had their shopping cart just inside the door. My wife was so upset we did not stay there. Got a partial refund and went to a better motel. Do not recommend.

Had a group of us staying as a band -- place is what you'd expect for price but 2 of the rooms had bugs with one of them in particular very poorly cleaned causing one of us to need to check out early. Don't want to slam this place too hard as the people were nice and if you can ensure you get good housekeeping it's a low cost option, but i will probably spend a little more and try somewhere else next time

It was a little noisy because I was in the room right by the entrance & there was a large iron door that made a loud noise everytime someone came in or out. But the room was clean and in good condition!

I was just there for one night. It was a nice, quiet room. The A/C and all electrical worked, good hot water and pressure. No stains or smells. Looked remodeled within the last year. Must have had problems with locals before, because of security gates around the property, Felt safe.

As always a great overnight stay

It was a nice size room with a comfortable bed. There were plenty of USB & electrical ports around the room plus a small refrigerator. The fan in the bathroom did not work and it could have used a small microwave and clock. Parking was fenced from the public and limited. It was a good stay considering the 100 degree plus temps, but the AC did work well!

I have never stayed in a hotel with so much security. The entire property was fenced in, and all who entered had to show id. Although it should be reassuring, it made us question have safe we were walking to nearby restaurants. Right off the interstate so you can hear traffic all night. Floors were dirty and in need of a good mopping. Bed was memory foam, which for us was uncomfortable. Towels were grey and looked dirty.
There was heavy cat pee smell coming from room next door. A wrecked car parked in the back lot. Laundry hanging on railing of 2nd floor. Long term renters? Part homeless shelter?
It's Motel 6, and you get what you pay for, but this is not the same quality i grew up knowing Motel 6 had. Goodbye Motel 6.
