Good, basic accommodation in a great location next to the beach and 20 minutes walk to Downtown Santa Barbara. Prices vary greatly depending on demand: good value at $150 but disappointing for $400!!

Really great value - fantastic location right by East Beach as well as amazing views of the mountains. Room was perfect size for us as a couple and had everything we needed, also loved the pool. Thankyou!

Check in experience was not good. Staff at the check in desk were quite unhelpful and seemed very high. After fighting for the upgrade we were promised a month prior, we were eventually given an upgrade that was comped because our room was not ready at check in time…took an extra hour to check in so we had to leave and come back twice. Our room was somewhat clean and had a few amenities, but it’s a motel 6 so we weren’t expecting luxury. Great location just a short walk from the beach and a short bike ride to the beach…CAUTION if you rent bikes ensure you bring them inside your room overnight as someone tried very hard to steal our rentals. We will not be staying here again

Thwre was no elevator, so I had to carry our stroller up and down the stairs everytime we left or arrived. If I was by myself, I literally wouldnt have been able to. We planned our day around checking in at 3pm, and with 2 kids who needed naps, we were banking on this. Took 40 extra minutes with no where to go. The staff at the front desk was lovely!

Parking is tight, and no EV charging stations anywhere in vicinity - had to plug in 3 miles away and Lyft until I had a full charge. Walls still are paper thin and so you hear everything. Especially car alarms.

Location was great only a few minutes from the beach. Room was small but whole place seems done up recently. We had a room facing the back which was so noisy from the highway 101. Also directly over laundry so bed was shaking when washer was on. And noise from pipes when room next door had a shower was horrendous. So if you are a light sleeper get a room facing the ocean. As for the person at check it he just seemed miserable and hating his job. A warm welcome is different.

The room was sparkling clean including the white bedding . The front desk person was friendly and fun and gave us a bonus bottle of wine and opener. Loved the 1962 decor and the retro mini fridge in the room. It was incredibly quiet and the rooms had a very nice view of the beach.

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful, thank you for a great first impression. The rooms are cute, retro touches add to the vibe. Across from the beach, walkable. Clean, with a mini retro fridge, hair dryer, even an ironing board & iron great thought. Highly recommend, it’s not “fancy” but it’s comfy. Go Motel 6!

Amazing views of the mountains and the oceans. In fact that pool has a direct line of sight view of the ocean. Walking distance to the beach, a nearby market/grocery, nice restaurants, a taco stand at a batting cage, and bike rentals all nearby.

Standard rooms. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. It's a simple motel but it's right next to the beach and there's plenty to do there. In that sense I would say it's better than your average motel.

Way better than expected. Perfect if your going for a night or two. Very basic room. Ours had no closet to hang things. Location is good but not in the heart of things. If you walk to state street it would probably take 30 min. It is a two minute walk to the beach. Nice neighborhood.

We loved everything about this Motel 6. The room was clean and decorated nicely and the shower was the best ever at a motel. The front desk staff were friendly and it was a beautifully groomed property. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked very well cleaned. And the location was perfect!
