Fire alarm went off twice during our stay but exit doors locked. Also room lighting very dim.

This hotel is showing its age. Rooms are ok but our bathroom had a area near the shower that looked like mold. We went to the Hot Tub one night and the bottom was filled with some type of grit. The walls appeared moldy, the stairs are rusting. The breakfast was good but they have closed part of the breakfast room which made it very hard to find a place to sit. Went down to the lounge which said closed at 2 but bar staff kicked everyone out at 1.

The service wasnt very good. The room was super dirty.

I got in late with my 6 year old daughter, we were exhausted and ready to go to sleep. Upon entering the room there was a large hole in the wall. I was going to let the front desk know but also noticed the mirror was falling apart, the shower door was missing, it was replaced with a curtain, there was a whole/flaking on the wall in the bathroom and my outlets on my nightstand weren’t working. So I thought clearly they just don’t care about the hotel, once again I was tired and at least the room seemed clean so I said whatever. The next morning I was brushing my teeth and the water wasn’t draining great. I saw a lime wedge that was super old was in the drain. Upon leaving I let them know about that so they could remove it. I figured even if the room is falling apart it should at least be clean. Also there is no way house keeping could have missed the damage prior. Come today I am being charged $300 for said hole. I have tried to call 3 times to speak to management without a return call yet. I will be fighting this as it’s ridiculous. I feel like prior to charging me they should check with housekeeping and when it was cleaned last. Maybe they hadn’t cleaned it prior to me. Who knows but I’m barely 100lbs, I doubt I could even make a dent in the wall and I’m being charged without a call first to even ask. I am so upset.

Check in took longer than expected passed the 4pm time we were told, so there was some sitting and waiting. Front desk was up front that they were full the previous night so it was an understandable situation. All in all it was a good stay as usual.

My kids and I had a great time.

Room had looked like someone was watching tv recently, lamps dirty, chair had white stains everywhere, carpet was ripping up everywhere, room felt very sticky, toilet still in use from previous person, tv did not work.
6.0
Extremely loud ac unit which constantly blew the window curtains open exposing enormous amount of light throughout the night. Additionally, sitting on the bed you felt the bottom supports of the bed frame while the bed itself collapsed under minimal weight.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were alright, comfort wise. We booked for 5 people and were given a room with 2 queen beds. Thought it was silly that we had to pay for a cot. And $35 is a little much. We opted not to, since the price was ridiculous and my child had to sleep on the floor.
We ended up booking another night prior to our first night for the kids to use the water park. It was fun, water seemed clean and it was a good temp, however the cleanliness of the stairs going up to the slides was gross. Dirty bandaids in a couple spots. Also was worried about my kids slipping in the steps. The traction take on most steps was faded or peeled away. Felt unsafe. The steps on the far side were very slippery and need work. The floors in the changeroom area needs some mats or something. My daughter ended up slipping on the floor. Any amount of water on that floor from people going in and out made it very dangerous.
Over all it was a good stay but there needs to be work done in that water park.

Our room was dirty, there was food on the floor. Crumbs everywhere and literally olives on my floor. Blood stained sheets and hair in the sheets. Holes in the comforters. Moldy shower curtains.
Despite the room that was the least of my worries. The pool area is ATROCIOUS!
It is covered in brown scum. Another parent and I watched 4 kids slip and fall in a matter of a half hour and sure as heck 20 min later my child had slipped on the scum getting out of the pool slide and split her forehead open to the point of needing stitches.
When I notified staff, they acted like it was no big deal and happens every day. I get accidents happen but clean your pool and take things seriously! There aren’t even caution: May be slippery signage posted. Half of the letters that state how tall you need to be to ride the slide are missing. And although I took off for the Dr office to go get stitches after I informed staff that their pool was full of blood, I was informed nothing was done with the pool when my daughters blood was all over the side of it where kids get in and out! Talk about a biohazard!
2days in a row at breakfast I watched I lady spill hot coffee all over the tiled floor and the breakfast attendant was hiding in her closet no where to be found so I was on my hands and knees cleaning it up in a timely manner so no child would slip and fall in the mess.
The VERY NEXT DAY, I was again cleaning waffle batter up as the attendant was no where to be found and kids were slipping.

Was a nice place for little children however. The room was quite dirty, coffee splashes on the lamps, my kids found random candies on the floor there was garbage under the pull out bed, my kids found a half eaten protein bar beside the tv. was very dissapointed with the cleanliness. I don’t think I would stay again. You can use the water park and pay as a non guest so I think I would stay elsewhere and just book the water park. If I didn’t have such young kids I would have said something while there but we were already unpacked when the kids started finding “food” on the ground. Also no tub in the bathroom was very unfortunate.

Mold on the waterslide stairs. No lifeguard. Garbage and old food underneath our nightstand. Not vacuumed floors. Overall just gross.

The management in my opinion needs to go back to the breakfasts of a few years ago. For that reason alone this place will not not be my top choices.
6.0
The place seams to be a bit tired. The pool area was in need of many upgrades, and not very clean. The kids area had chips off the slides and actually looked like they could injure a child. One slide was out of order and the hot tub was hot one night and lukewarm the next.
6.0
Staff was great. Rooms could use an upgrade our bed came apart the first time we sat on it but maintenance came immediately to fix it.
Convenient parking and shopping.
3.0
The room was clean but the hotel itself is abit run down, it needs to be refurbished, we only stayed the one night on our way back from a trip, don’t think I’d stay again
8.0
The hotel is very convenient- access to everything! I love how you don’t have to leave the building to shop, go to a movie and stay and swim at the hotel. It’s a great central location.
The rooms were nice and the main bed was comfortable. The pillows are thin and definitely need to be replaced. Bring your own! We had a king room w pullout bed. The blanket for the pullout was a sheet and there was only one small pillow. We Brought a sleeping bag and a few extra pillows for us - so glad we did.
The staff at the water park / arcade were slow and barely working. Seriously- take the ear buds out!!
One of the waterslides was closed but the other two were a lot of fun. The hot tub was nice - could have been hotter but that’s a personal preference. The pool was chilly but that made the hot tub nicer.
The breakfast area had lots of options (hot and cold breakfast) but the floors and tables were sticky and never clean.
Over all, it was a great weekend away. Would definitely come back!

The room door had about a quarter inch gap that you could see out into the hallway as well as into room. The bed mattress’s looked like someone had being murdered on them. Very soiled dirty mattress’s. The room also wasn’t very clean the wife was cleaning it as soon as we entered it.

This property is in major renovations and cleaning. Our room smelt stale and the carpet was wet. The mesh curtain had mold or dirty stains on it. The carpet was dirty. My toddler sat on the floor in a white romper and it was dirtier than a playground when she stood up.
The pool needs major TLC. The toddler area has no anti slip striping on the stairs leading up to both slides. The frog slide has pieces missing off the tongue (slide portion). There was dirt and lint sitting on the edge of the walk in portion of the toddler pool.
There’s paint missing in many main areas of the pool. The purple water slide is never in operation any time we have stayed here.
The complimentary breakfast was okay. Many of the juices are “out of order” but it’s written right on the juice machine.
I would recommend looking elsewhere if your not looking to be attached to the mall.

Great property and a wonderful breakfast. An opportunity to renovate to more modern features will be great.
6.0
The property was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Some repairs and renovations would’ve warranted a higher rating. The molding along the bottom of the walls was peeling away in the bathroom, our television did not work and noise from neighboring rooms made it tough to fully relax. Overall I would say the stay was average.

I know it's not really the staffs fault how the hotel decides to deal with event cancelations and rescheduling and I'm sure since those rules are incredibly troublesome it ends up being very angry customers calling to find out they can't even reschedule their stay to match the event. It's still very upsetting to hear those things. I won't blame the staff on this, my real upset is with the hotel and management. We had booked a night to stay to see a concert at the state fair. Unfortunately, the artist was stuck due to the software meltdown companies were experiencing all over. The state fair was incredibly late in spreading this news and wasn't the best on making that news shared, so I guess some of the blame is on them. Anyway, it was rescheduled. We called to cancel or at least reschedule to that day. We were immediately met with a busy signal and long wait times. I'm assuming everyone who had booked with them was calling about the same thing. Finally, we were able to talk to someone. We were told we could not cancel or even reschedule even with the unusual and unpredicted situation. I'm sure a lot of people were upset with this. I'm not sure who decided on this, but it's completely unprofessional.

The slides were dirty and the breakfast was not good. But the room was fine and the staff were nice.

The free breakfast is good.

Walked out of my room tgis moring to find out we cannot go down a part of a hallway and stairwell because there was blood everywhere. I have pictures. Shower curtain had mold on it, phone in the room didn’t work, carpet was raveled and we tripped over it, and fan in the bathroom spunded like an animal crying for help.
5.0
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The room we had was ok except the fold out couch. The mattress was ripped along the side and springs were sticking out, it was very dirty and there was no bedding for it, just a dirty mattress pad.
We had to go buy an air mattress and air pump for the night.

Wasn’t able to check in until 6:30 pm, to a $330 suite. Tried for 3 hours to get in, and wasn’t given a time frame or eta during that other than “come check again in a half hour”

Bathroom could have been cleaner and pillows were very lumpy but otherwise it was a nice stay. Check in was great and very friendly.

Check in staff were great, friendly and efficient.

Housekeeping comes to each room only every three days, leaving guests to make their own beds, and forage for clean towels, and coffee for the coffee maker. The breakfast area ran out of food the first day, so there weren't many happy people that morning. The check-in clerk was clearly bored with his job and didn't even say hello when I came to check in. We'll never stay here again, despite the good location.

We stay here while going to the State Fair! Room was average as well room condition and cleanilness.
6.0
Great amenities especially for kids. But they could do a better job of keeping things cleaner.
4.0
The hotel is run down and could use some major improvements.
The rooms have been painted but that doesn’t hide the carpet that is stained and has gum ground into the fibres. The beds are soft and the springs are no longer doing their jobs. The bathrooms are outfitted with new tub inserts but the rest of the bathroom is in desperate need of repair.
The couch and hide a bed are stained and I didn’t want to find out if it was functional as I couldn’t imagine it would be any better than the beds in the room.
To further add to the disappointment, the pool was unclean and disgusting. There was garbage floating in the pool and a giant hairball in the kids pool. The hot tub had missing tiles and rust was on every single structure in that pool area.
We left as quickly as possible in the morning as I’m certain we will all be sick after this stay.

Beds are lumpy, bathroom needs a good scrubbing. Shower door did not close properly. Hotel is getting old!

Pool is nice for smaller kids. I’d stay again. It could use a small update in some areas but overall it’s ok.

Two double beds and no pull out couch for a family of 5…? How?
8.0
It was well maintained .. nice big hotel! Great staff the hotel is a little dated. it that was fine! The pool water park was nice.
The breakfast i have to agree not the best, but the waffles were good!!
3.0
Not a horrible experience but was a bit disappointed. One water slide was closed as was the hot tub. The fans in our room were both loud and noisy. The ac fan was incredibly loud and rattling. The bathroom fan made some loud and strange noises. It made it tough to get a good nights sleep. Overall, seems like it is teetering on being outdated with most everything.
