We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the DoubleTree Fallsview over American Thanksgiving Weekend. I especially loved the pool area (the floor was heated!), the water pressure in the shower, very fast elevators, the lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom, and the walkability to everything touristy. The beds were so comfortable my husband was asking where the pillows were from. The only thing I would have changed was that we did not seem to have housekeeping - we had to keep asking for cups and coffee/tea for the coffee maker in the hotel room and our garbage was very full when we left. It was very minor, though, and we would absolutely stay here again if we were to come back to Niagara Falls.

It was a really nice place -warm /inviting . Dave was great . I will go again versus closer to the falls . We saw the restaurant menu in the hotel ‘too late ‘ It looked amazing and would have been cheaper for us ( google the menu ) Our room was 1808 and had perfect view of the falls.

We had a terrific stay for one night. The suite was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. It’s a beautiful hotel and we would stay there again.

The reception was cordial, not overly friendly, but acceptable. The room we got was as I request. The hotel looks relatively new. Rooms are nice and clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. Both were reasonably priced and tasted good. My only major gripe is the hotel charging $28 plus tax for parking. The Holiday Inn very close to it, located right across from the Fallsview Casino, offers complimentary parking for its guests. What makes this hotel’s parking so special that you, as a paying guest, have to pay almost $30 for above ground parking?? And when I mentioned this to the staff at reception, their advice to me was, if I don’t like paying for parking there, then I can go park somewhere else. It’s things like this that leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth.

We always count on Double Tree properties for good beds, nice pillows, a free cookie and a good nights sleep. After 10 hours in the car over a two day trip, we were glad to pay a moderate price for a great nights rest. Double Tree NEVER dusappoints.

Air conditioning was turns off for the entire stay and there was no proper ventilation. They mentioned it was turned off due to winter , but it was 22+ degrees outside. Even the small ventilation windows didn't help. Overall stay was not that good. Only good thing was great view of the American falls

We like the central location, a little away from the crowds yet close enough to walk to most places. The lobby is warm and welcome, rooms are clean, remodeled baths. The pool and hot tub area was well maintained. We have stayed here several times over the years and find it to be one of our favorite places. The staff are friendly too.

Great looking hotel from the out & the inside. Very clean throughout. Comfortable room. Mattress, pillows, sheets very awesome and cozy. Tv had lots of channels, temperature settings were easy to change, lots of storage in the room. Very quiet & relaxing. Pool area was great, especially the kids pool. Lobby area is great,has lots of seating area and also has a little cafeteria. Checkin & checkout were a breeze, and loved the Welcome cookies- they were yum! Overall, great place to stay with family even though its a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and thats what we wanted.

Cleaning detail in rooms needs to be addressed. Yes, there is no garbage, but stains on the couch and buildup of mold and dust in bathrooms (where you want the most clean) feels a bit off. Have stayed here many times over the years and enjoy all aspects other than how it’s been recently cleanliness wise. Thank you

We were very happy with the view from our room and the over-all “vibe” in the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent (unfortunately we did not eat supper there, so can’t comment). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very pleased with the checkin process at the DoubleTree. It was smooth and my group was provided with delicious chocolate chip cookies! The parking is accessible at the property, and the room is clean and spacious. It’s located within walking distance of the Falls and other attractions. We had a lovely stay and would certainly come again!

Rooms that are advertised as capable of sleeping 5 people, even though spacious, only contain 2 queen beds that can only sleep 4 people comfortably. You will need to pay extra for cots if the 5th person is a baby/child. No option such as a sofa bed for an additional adult. This is important information that should be made clear during the booking process. Otherwise, the hotel itself is decent.

Bathroom was extremely dirty. Hair clippings everywhere. Asked for a clean and even after another clean there was still hair clippings. Ended up changing rooms. Front desk staff was very helpful and apologetic.

The hotel's condition didn't meet the expectations of a 4-star rating. We booked a suite for five people, and while the bedroom itself was decent, we encountered several issues. There wasn't enough soap, shampoo, or tissues provided. The main concern was the bathroom's cleanliness, where we found black mold in the shower, which was unacceptable.
