The entire property is in poor condition. The room was clean but very cheap old furniture. The pool was closed and filthy. Tried to cancel after seeing the room and it was refused. Much better value for the money in the area. Would not recommend this to anyone.

We never spent the night there, the room was very dirty and bathroom was very nasty. I asked for a refund a they did not want to give me one. This motel it’s very bad.

The room was old, which would have not been a problem if it were clean! I had a king suite with river view, there was a coffee maker, NO coffee, NO coffee cups, ONE bath towel, and the room was not cleaned well at all. The river view was nice

Couldn’t lock door. No one on premises. Door lock until after 8:00 am. One person came in late and key wouldn’t work and they slept in car! It was a nightmare!

Overall, bad. Aesthetically speaking, the room was bare-bones. There was an extension cord from the wall hanging down on the floor into the tv. There was no bedside lamp, so I had to get out of bed to turn off the lights. But then, there were the security issues. The deadbolt on the door didn’t really engage properly and the chain lock was flimsy, so we ended up moving the table in front of the door as a barricade just in case, and I’m glad we did because the cleaning lady ended up waking us up 2 hours before checkout by banging on the door and OPENING IT.

The air conditioner in the room didn't work. It was set at 61 but sweated all night. Couldn't adjust the temperature. The check in was horrible. Tried to get in at 1:00 was told not til 3, that's fine. Came back at 3 with a sign on the door to come back at 3:30. Waited in car til that time. Door did not open until 4:09. Stood in 114 degree temp until the door opened. Girl rattled off what she needed filled out. Told her she was talking to fast. She said I'd figure it out. Kept trying to take my papers and I want done. Was yelling at others in line to keep door closed as wind was blowing in. Told them to lock door. Then yelled again to close door but we had to tell her we couldn't because someone in a wheelchair was trying to come in. Maybe they are short staffed. I don't know but it was the worst check in I've ever had.

Did that manager change? Or at the reviews do they pretend that they have changed the manager? Because that miserable blonde lady has some SERIOUS issues. And she will take it out on you and others as well.

At low capacity, the hotel is run fine. At high capacity, the service is terrible. Dirty towels were folded as if they were clean and left in the room. The toilet smelled bad and literally had not been cleaned. Stained toilet paper was left in the bathroom. There was no network connection to watch TV. I considered booking a different hotel, but the holiday weekend was sold out of affordable rooms.

My room’s AC unit wasn’t cooling in the 110F heat. So I spoke with the front desk person. She said ‘head back to your room, our AC tech will be there in 5 minutes’. I started a timer to see how long it would take, the AC tech was there in 3 minutes! And he arrived with a key to immediately move me to another room with a highly functional AC unit. Awesome job at taking quick action and solving the problem. A for customer service:

Don't stay Here! It is a 60 year old Hotel. Owner does not keep updated. It is rundown and dirty, Curtains need to be cleaned, walls are beatup and stained in many places. Breakfast is a joke. apples, oranges. Orange juice machine doesn't work. Rooms are missing electrical covers, trash cans, hair dryer. 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 2 bath towels for 2 people. There is no cable tv. only streaming tv. it doesn't work, enter codes, office suppose to activate But they never do. I asked repeatedly and even walked down to the office. I got a lot of "We will take care of it" but never did. There were many unhappy customers with complaints worse than mine. Sheets with cigarette holes, dirty bed linen. I have pictures of before and after my stay. Curtain to the balcony was filthy, they need to take down and clean. There are spots of nail polish or something green all over the places. Spots on the walls. The flooring is coming up in different areas because who ever did the floor did a cheap job. the bathroom door doesn't close unless you lift it because the floor is very uneven there. the door stops need to be replaced. All, I can say is my room was swept/mopped clean. Counters were clean, mirror's were clean, bath was clean, The couch has stains on it, the chair in the room was filthy, we didn't sit in those. We brought our own chairs. I would never stay here again. Blonde hair lady is manager. She nice but deceptive. Says what will shut you up and you go away.

The hotel was basic. For the price you pay it makes sense. Shower head was loose, no fridge or microwave in my room, but it had a Roku TV. The pool was closed half my stay but when it was open it was a good vibe, like a backyard at a house, views into the river.
The staff kind of treats you like a criminal but they are probably just trying to cover their butts. Also, they kept trying to open my door for inconsistent house cleaning and didnt have Do Not Disturb signs.
The hotel did a job and the AC was cold. It’s a 10 minute drive from Laughlin so I spent most of my time out the room anyways.

This did not appear as advertised. It is a very run down motel. I thought it was a hotel. The room only had one plug in the sink area, which was chipped really badly. I have a CPAP and had no place to plug it in. I slept like crap because of that, and because the bed was lumpy as hell. The staff wasn't friendly to the point of being rude. There were only two towels in the room. No small hand towel, no wash rag, just two towels. The shampoo leaves a gross film in your hair that leaves you feeling worse than before the shower. The shower head had clogs and half of it just dumped out the bottom. My hotel key stopped working and they were supposed to replace the batteries as soon as I left the room because maintenance couldn't do it if we were in the room. 12 hours later I returned and still couldn't get into the room. They never replaced the batteries. When the maintenance came to let me in my room, he said the key was damaged and he would go grab one real quick. He was completely sketching. An hour later, he never came back so I called the office and said to forget it because it was almost midnight and I wanted to take a shower and go to bed. When I went to check out, they gave me a hard time because I needed the key to check out. I didn't have the key because the maintenance guy took it. So I had to wait around half an hour until he verified he had it. This place is a trap. I had two people tell me to not stay here, but I was unable to cancel my reservation. Worst ever.

First of all, it took us 45 minutes to get checked in. When we got our room there was no TV controller but when we went to ask for it the lady in office told us she was going to take it to our room but it never came . We asked for clean towels and they were not provided oh.. and talk about free breakfast.. suck!!! There was nothing. First time and last time we'll stay there .

Staff was extremely unorganized unprofessional. Rooms were very dirty. I had to switch rooms twice, one of the rooms Smelt strongly of vinegar as soon as I open the door it took my breath away, and my eyes started to burn that’s how strong the vinegar smell was. The other room, the sheets were very dirty, and had hair on them. They charged extra for everything even ICE. The breakfast that they said was complementary over the phone was FALSE, they wanted to charge us $1 per danish. The pool was dirty. Lastly, While we were getting ready to go to sleep for the night someone literally tried to come into our room.. They tried opening the door twice!!!! There were NO phones in the rooms to call front desk! Absolutely the WORST motel I have ever stayed in!

we were unable to check in at all . got there at 3:00 when check in starts the front desk person was extremely rude and unprofessional while telling me to come back at 3:30 to check in .. i came back at 3:30 only to find the office door locked and a note on the door saying they would be ready at 3:30 we waited around till 4:00 with no one showing up it was 110° out and i had kids that had been in the car for hours so we had to go find somewhere else to stay . this place wouldn't do business during its business hours and was rude about it a refund would be nice

The check in manager took excess time discussing changes with the property that was not necessary. I had to tell her I needed to go to work, in order to get her to stop delaying me. At 10am a man was at my hotel room door. He announced House keeping, repeatedly. I got up, stated just a moment. Wrapped in a sheet not exposing myself. I unlocked the door handle started to crack open the door, the housekeeper put his hand on the exterior door and pushed to open the door. I had the chain lock on, it jerked in it's socket because he pushed the door so hard. I scrame slammed the door in his face. Upon check out I let the lady at the counter which was not the lady at check in know I did not appreciate what the man did. I told her she was lucky I am not the type of person who trashes the room. She let me know she didn't take a deposit. She stated to have her unnecessary roll on conversation. I walked out. The man should of never forced the door. The lady passing herself off as the manager should not be reduplicated her identity by having one at check in and one at check out.

My c.c. was stolen and unfortunately someone had made a reservation at this place and when the property was notified they refused to refund my money. Shady businesses usually don't stay in business for long. I hope the 175 dollars was worth all of the negative press you're going to get.... If I was running this place I would run it based on 1 key dynamic that has stood up through the test of time. Treat people and potential guests the way you would want to be treated. If someone stole your information would you want your money back that you worked hard for? I think you would.

Big room plus. Queen mattress on a king box spring. No table like in picture. Couch old sink down into couch. Had to wait 45 mins to check in. Have to pay for a refrigerator when I shows In pictures and I was in a suite on the river. Pool was not in service. Not acceptable in the summer months. Floors were mopped with dirty water. I know this because they were cleaning the room when we got there. It is a peaceful place though. Key card stoped working on the second day also. Only had one Roach so that was not bad. I think it was a water bug though. Lobby has no ac very hot to wait for your room. Return your room key. 25.00 a card if you don’t.

Lodge on the River is hidden gem I discovered while on a quick business trip to the area! The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The perfect location made for quick and easy access to all my business appointments in the area. Highly recommend!

This place doesn't even have cable TV. When I got into the room and turned on the TVI just had a snowy screen when I asked the staff to assist they came back with a literal antenna to hook up to the TV and when I asked about the cable they said that the owner got rid of the cable to save money. Even the Cheapest motels have cable TV that's like a necessity nowadays. I was done within 10 minutes of being there we actually ended up leaving and not even staying there. Yes we lost the $70 we paid to stay but really no cable??
