If you’re not a picky person, this place is great for a short vacay. It has everything, it could be a little bit more updated ( we had that old green carpet in the bedroom) and the smell…not sure if all the units are in the same condition, I’ve been told there are some more updated , but the one we got, had a moldy, old smell that really bothered us. Overall, it’s a four stars if, again, you’re not picky. Would I go again? Sure, but I will ask to see my unit before I check in.

Overall, my family of three enjoyed our stay in a two bedroom unit. This place is not fancy, but no place in the Dells is. It was clean, spacious and quiet. It came well equipped for a stay of a few days.

Woth young kids having two swimming pools on the property with a playground was wonderful also being able to have a full equipped kitchen instead of dining out for every meal was wonderful!

Close to Walmart. Not far from dells strip. Unit needed a deep clean. I would book again just bring my cleaning supplies.

This resort is the best place I have ever stayed in the dells. Not only are the units super accommodating but they are spacious, private, and the neighbors are so friendly. We ended up staying an extra day and night because my two boys were enjoying fishing so much in the lake. Tamarack is definitely a home away from home and we will be returning. Thank you!

Pretty Basic, nothing luxurious for the price. In the property you did have everything you need. But for someone who has stayed at many vacation rentals across the U.S. Somethings inside the property were rusted or dry rotted.The decor is an outdated . And outside amenities published on the site were not the same as advertised. Staff were ok …could have a little more well dressed and friendly. All in all if you need something quick and outdoorsy with not much luxury …more on the camping side this may be a good place for you. Kitchen was fine Bathroom and jetted tub very small. Also limited parking . but these things you can work out. For the price I didn’t want to have to .

We came up to watch a volleyball tournament and didn’t want to pay the price of the water parks. Found this property and will definitely return. We stayed in a studio suite and it had everything we needed. Very clean and loved the fact it wasn’t in the hussle and bussle. Very beautiful property.

Staff was amazing - so friendly and helpful!! The rental was clean, spacious and exactly what we needed! Plenty of towels which we loved. My teenaged boys loved the Rec Center! Close to plenty of things including a grocery store. Would definitely recommend!!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit. It was a little dated but very very clean. The staff in the activities center were incredibly kind and helpful. The property is in a great location near all the hubbub of the Dells but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed our cozy 2 bedroom apartment with access to a pool table and hot tub. This place has very friendly staff which was refreshing. The only thing I wasnt impressed with was the swimming pool. It went up to 3 1/2 feet deep and the pool area itself was that inviting. However that being said we had the entire area to ourself which was very nice. Over all it was relaxing weekend getaway with my mom.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Tamarack! My husband and I stayed for a weekend vacation and couldn't have been more perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was super easy. This would be amazing for a family trip too!

A great space plenty of room to spread out and many sitting options. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen had the basic necessities. We enjoyed our girls weekend and had a relaxing stay. The front desk ladies were super helpful and response to my questions.

We were really amazed with everything from the price we paid to the layout of the house and the staff being so welcoming and having wonderful communication. The house literally had everything we needed as far as appliances and essentials. We will certainly be back to stay every time we come to the Dells. We were 9 mins away from Wilderness and literally 3 minutes away from the shopping center that was a super plus.

This is two visits for us(two different buildings). Enjoyed our family time. Spent quite a bit of time at Activity building. Fireplaces worked! Nice!!! Property was pretty clean, if worn. Just had to wipe a few crumbs off table and a couple small, not worrisome, spots off tub. Front desk staff is friendly. Tip: Reserve your court in advance for pickle ball or tennis etc if it is high season or a holiday weekend.

We had a really good time. This was our second time coming to the Tamarack for Christmas. The property we stayed in this time was a little outdated. But, the staff were wonderful as usual.

Good time away with the kids. Too short. We swam, played pickleball,tried racquetball for first time. Equipment was easy to check out. We played pool and played some table games. The upstairs fireplace did not work. They graciously sent someone to take a look at it but it was later in the evening and the fireplace was not cooperating. Since we were only staying a short time it wasn't a big deal. One of the best things about this place is Sue at the desk... Everytime we walked away from the desk after asking a question or requesting something, my boys would walk away saying "She is SO nice"😁 She provided outstanding customer service to us and others were observed her interacting with. Refreshing!

We liked the property and its amenities. Having a full kitchen, patio space with grille, and easy parking were very convenient. The friendly staffs were a big plus as well. However, the place did feel outdated and could use some updates. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The place was dusty and the floors didn’t seem mopped. My toddler ran around the unit in his socks for a bit and his socks turned black. So we had to make sure he kept his shoes on at all times.
