Great location. Large, comfortable room and excellent service from all stay. Highly recommended.

We arrived @ 2a or so. Hotel was under construction, limited elevator usage, unable to take us to our 2nd floor room. Male staff member who assisted us @ check in was very helpful. Outdated & improperly functioning thermostat...limited/no AC? Female guest attendant in morning was not very empathetic...said I should have read the book in the room or called the desk attendant at 3a. Decide for yourself but we won't stay at this hotel next time we're in the area

When you get to the property people greet you and worry about your car parking, how you feel, what you need, and after all of that is attended, you register. The hotel is as cozy as people working in it. The rooms are outstanding, with everything you need even if you forget something. I dont remember spending better nights than here! The restaurant deserves a Michelin star too! If I go back to that area of Spain, I will sure stay at the Palacio Garvey!

Gorgeous old town house converted into a hotel with marble ornamentation and magnificent rooms with high ceilings. Our restaurant meal was excellent, we had fish. The staff were most helpful. Recommended.

We loved our stay at the hotel. Our room was beautiful (and palatial), and had great views over a town square. The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to by car, and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We also liked the complimentary breakfast (it would have been perfect if cooked options were also available). We appreciated the availability of (paid) parking close to the hotel, although space was tight and it was not always easy to get in and out. All in all, though, we loved the property and would definitely recommend it.

We liked everything about this hotel: the location, cleanliness, service and the restaurant. There are 3 main things to do in Jerez: horses, sherry and flamenco.

I’ve stayed in this hotel on many occasions- always good and an excellent location. They handled Covid issues like breakfast well - with less drama than many hotels I’ve visited recently. I booked at the last minute and got a room with only a small window and no view which wasn’t ideal - but I was aware it was the last available.

Jerez is a great town to visit . Sherry tours and a fabulous horse show at the Spanish riding school. The the hotel is well located in the center of the town but because of the one way streets it was a little difficult to locate if you are driving. Taxi driver had no problem. Hotel was well laid out with large room. The food was good

We had a junior suite, and it genuinely had the WOW factor, as do many of the pieces of art work and furniture around the hotel. The room and bathrooms were enormous and beautifully decorated. So nice you almost didn't want to go out. The staff were all very nice as well. The location was also great, just a short walk from the centre of town. I would easily have given this hotel top marks if it were not for the miserable breakfast. It was the first hotel I have been to in years that had no buffet. Once you were seated you were brought tea or coffee, and then between the 2 of us we were given 1 tiny portion of fruit, a yogurt each, 5 toasted half rolls, 3 slices of cheese and salami, 2 croissants and small cakes, 2 packeted small tasteless muffins and a couple of jams. And none of it was that nice. But it was the lack of choice that really disappointed. So if you have the option, book without breakfast as the rooms and hotel are fabulous, and have breakfast in town. That is what we would do if we go back.

Lovely old hotel with good restaurant and breakfast. Interesting art & decor. Large room. Parking available. Only problem for us was that the bath was an oval free standing type which was slippery and difficult to get in and out of and had a low level shower attachment. Other rooms had walk in showers so no problem there

Friendly and helpful front desk staff, good breakfast, two fast elevators, interesting building. Centrally controlled heating/AC so room was brutally hot which was frustrating-they provided a fan but still very hot. Also, my fault for not thinking to ask, but in restricted zone of city so had to park in perimeter in nightmarish super tight parking lot (Marina) so would recommend researching parking options if coming by car. Great location though for access to Castillo and alcazabar

The staff was helpful with advice at checkin of local area sites to see. Love cation is good, Can walk all over town from here. Clean and comfortable. Did have a problem with the smell of cigarette smoke on first night from somewhere near by, even with all windows closed. Second night was better. Also they’re credit card service was down so had to find cash machine when checking out.

We stayed here for two nights. Parking is difficult - you need to drive around and be alert for a space and you can only stay for a maximum of two hours.
Very pleasant hotel inside, marble floors, stylish, but our room (number 8), although spacious and comfortable, had no outside view which isn't ideal by any means.
Breakfast is an expensive 11 Euros, and not worth it. Better to walk outside and enjoy it in one of the street cafes nearby.

This hotel ONLY ACCEPTS CASH! so be prepared to pay cash only. Even if it says that it accepts credit cards, they will not take a card and make you go to the ATM and pay later, but in cash. It may be to save on taxes or on CC fees, but I do not think they even have a CC processing device. This would not be an issue if the hotel were upfront about it, but they say the service is down. Other than that, it is great - fantastic location, clean, spacious, nice, cheap, great value, good breakfast. It was funny to see the outdated furnishings - a cd player.

Palacio Garvey turned out to be the perfect place to start our 2-week Lent stay in Spain. The location is super perfect. The Michelin-rated restaurant's dinner was very good, tho' the set-lunch menu was a big disappointment.

We loved this very classy hotel in Jerez de la Frontera. Service was excellent and the breakfast, which was included in the price, very good.

This was just for one night so we splurged. It was not expensive at all. It is not my type of hotel. Very cold furnishings. I prefer more traditional Spanish. But for someone who likes a but of sterile atmosphere this is good choice. The room very small. Beds very comfortable. Quiet too. The tub is great but beware it is high to get into. Nice supplies of shampoo etc.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable, central location and good value for money. It is our preferred place to stay in Jerez.

Spacious, modern, luxurious room, with a king size bed and sitting area, and french doors overlooking plaza. Bathroom had a whirlpool tub and shower. Slept like a baby except for being briefly awakened by some spontaneous flamenco singing in the plaza below the room at 6 am.
