Good as a location, easy access to the beach ( just few minutes away).Nice room and a big thanks to reception and breakfast staff members.Very attentive and helpful!
The 2 door guys make your day ( always with a big smile 😃) .

Worst hotel don't stay there. Awful dated hotel in very poor state of disrepair

Overall this was a very good stay considering the price we paid. Location is good, right on a main bus route, walking distance to the centre, and not far from the beach. Staff were all so friendly, they did all they could to help us with anything we needed. The rooms can be very noisy if near the nightclub or the pool entertainment, after a couple of bad nights we were moved to one away from both. The food is varied and plenty of it - although items (and crockery/cutlery) tended to run out later in the service period. Cleanliness was variable, the floor in the bedroom was not cleaned well (hence bring slippers), and the bathrooms need an overhaul.

++ clean rooms with a nice sea view, excellent customer service from both kitchen and cleaning staff. Lovely atmosphere at night with entertainment although I wished to see a bit more traditional Moroccan shows. Breakfast was good. Beach is 10 walking distance. I definitely recommend hotel Argana
- - if I have to be picky, only parking was a little small so at night it was harder to park at times other than that all good 🙌

Checking was meant to be in for 3pm however we didn’t get keys until 05:30pm… only one room ready… the AC in both weren’t working. Staff at reception were slow and did not show willingness to rectify the situation. In a crisis, such as loosing my sister-in-law, the hotel staff were no help and instead were causing my anxiety to increase by not letting us use their phone to locate her. However the cleaner Khadijah was AMAZING, she should be working at reception, she has people’s skills and was very lovely to us our entire stay.
Would never stay again at this hotel.

Please be aware city tax is higher than what is stated when you book. Ended up paying £37 instead of the £29 quoted We booked a sea view room but ended up in a suite which was large and spacious. Food can be hit and miss. Mainly chicken meat fish and pastas but they did have something to eat for everyone. Mainly french and moroccan cuisine, no chips for kids except on one day out of 6 that we stayed. The service at the resturant is slow. Setting tables and cleaning up takes forever. Have to ask several times before you get a bottle of water. There is a McDonald's and pizza hut just accross the road and a variety of other resturants that we went to when food wasnt great. There is a nightclub on either side of the hotel but luckily we were on the quieter side of the hotel so wasnt a problem for us. Beach is a 10 min walk which is exclusive for the hotel which was good. Overall a good stay but rooms do need upgrading

There was no aircon. The room was un desperate need of a refurb, the ventilation system sent all kinds of dust and particles into the room and caused my son an asthma attack which he had not had for over 10 years, we had to get an ambulance to hospital. In general, low quality, but well meaning friendly staff.

There staff was very rude they took money without my permission from my account

This is a super friendly hotel staff are very professional and the food is really good .
The hotel is super clean . It has its own private beach which is free to use and lots of sunbeds by the pool.Entertainment day and evening .
It can be very noisy at night from the surrounding nightclus and hotels and as this is a family hotel there are a lot of kids.
Would recommend as a value for money.

Good for family,we enjoyed there

Food in restaurant, breakfast and snack bar are terrible. Very poor food quality. Even basic items like tomatoes, coffee or cheese sandwiches are inedible.
Services are extremely slow. Waiting time if you are lucky on a quite time could be at least 30 min.
The establishment as a whole is falling apart. Shower leaking, towels old and discoloured. The Bed is however comfortable.
Avoid the spa even if there are deals too good to be true! People come in and out the treatment area to speak with your masseuse while you are trying your hardest to relax.

If you had a poolside view, it was lovely watching people swimming and enjoying their holiday throughout the day, but at night the hotel put on ungodfully loud, obnoxious music/events that sounded like I was in a stadium watching a concert. there was no soundproofing and it was impossible to get to sleep.
at times the staff were rude, leaving us with no towels to have a shower, towels would be supplied on request post-1500h
The air conditioner barely cooled the room on hot days.
the staff would only take cash as payment for the room despite the debit/credit card machine working.
the food within the dining hall was at times unseasoned and inetable. I was significantly disappointed with the hotel as a whole, for the amount spent.
staff despite being tipped quite well (on our behalf) were accusatory about not returning an ice bucket from the bar stating that they would not give us another one unless we proved that the original was returned. We did explain that the cleaning staff took the original ice bucket and asked them.
the coffee shop attached to the hotel next door, whilst had great interpersonal service attempted to miss lead us with payment, a bill that cost 100 DHD, paid with a 200 DHD bill, receiving 50 as a return and then being caused that we didn't give the member of staff a 200 DHD note.
I found the holiday experience exhausting and disappointing. there is room for improvement and I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to others travelling to Agadir.

Booked sea view rooms but got rooms in a construction site with road view.Talked to the manager about the rooms and noise level from nightclub but not satisfactorily handled.
Air conditioning didn't work.

Apart from waiting over 2 hours to go in to our rooms as they wernt ready. It was the repetitive “20 minutes and the room will be ready that brings down the rating for me. Staff are polite and rooms were nice

my children me n my husband was very happy with the cleanliness we were very impressed of the way they clean our room n the entire hotel also the staff’s are amazing and food was wonderful I would love to go back there again 😃

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Hotel room amenities need to be reviewed. Pictures don’t match the rooms given. The hotel is extremely noisy at night with their entertainment. Just not great

We read mixed reviews before booking, so we were apprehensive for our stay. We’d emailed about airport transfers ,when we arrived there was no one there, had to sort our own taxi at midnight-complained at the desk, the problem was never resolved.
they gave us the wrong room, we booked a double with a sea view& balcony, the room we were given was nothing like the photos on booking, it was outdated, had 3 single beds, (not much use for me and my husband) was by the busy road, air con didn’t work and half the lights worked, we went back to reception to complain who said they ‘were having problems with rooms tonight’ and to come back at breakfast for an ‘upgrade’. Also the door didn’t lock upon leaving the room, nothing was done about this. It was 1am at this point so we had an awful night sleep in a hot, noisy room. The next morning we were told we could have a ‘superior room’ -when in fact this is what we actually had booked, had to wait until 2pm for the room.
hotel is undergoing construction work-there was hammering/banging/drilling around the pool/in the building all day until 9pm.
Breakfast was good, lots of choice , but dinner was just okay. go outside the hotel for authentic Moroccan food.
The staff at the pool bar were lovely but the cocktails weren’t made correctly.
There is a night club right outside the hotel and depending on where you are in the hotel you can hear this into the night.
there was a sign to say work was 11am -5pm, these times were not stuck to.

The staff were great the food was amazing the pool was lovely and it was close to the beach. BUT it was the noisiest place I have stayed in my life! There was lots of building works going on but that will finish soon. The major thing was the very noisy entertainment and pop music until about midnight each night and then on two of the nights the night clubs all around the hotel were at full volume until 3am. Not even noise cancelling headphones could stop the noise! And I had been given a 'quiet' room! The food really was brilliant and there was sunshine flooding in to the balcony the whole day but I could never stay here again simply because of the out of control noise.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had got such a good deal we were thinking the worst!
The service and friendliness of all the staff was amazing. Our chambermaid Hananna was so approachable and helpful, and our room was always immaculate with wonderful towel art too. Both Sazah and Soufraine were such attentive waiters, as were they all. The food was very good often fresh food being cooked as you waited. There was building works going, as others have said, which was a little disruptive but staff tried so hard to minimise the disturbance and mess that it gave off at times. Think they are nearly finished now though. Thank you to the hotel for a wonderful stay

Spa was lovely and pool with afternoon activity. Plenty of sun beds, nice atmosphere

My second time in Argana, cant fault it. Breakfast is delicious and friendly staff at the breakfast service. Reception staff very friendly and upgraded my room for free, this was a very nice surprise and I instantly felt like a valued guest. The room service time was brilliant, I cant remember the lady’s name, but she always serviced the room to high standards. Will definitely stay again

I didn't like breakfast was the same every day and it's not very good, besides the waiters didn't attend well, some did well but others didn't, a waiter threw the food at me .

We were exhausted after our flight and despite hotels.com saying check in from 2pm, we didn’t get room till 3.45pm after repeatedly asking. The hotel reception says check in is from 4pm.
Noticed families sitting in reception daily awaiting checkin till 4pm.
The hotel reception team was not very helpful, offering limited information- not sure if element of language barrier.
All lights go off at night in hotel corridors and are on motion sensors which is not very nice when you step out if your room and are faced with darkness.
Our room was not like the photos at all. It smelled musty. Toilet was not properly cleaned from last stay.
Old wooden panel behind toilet covering a waste pipe which smelled.
Room was cleaned but no new toilet roll or towels left. We had to constantly asked for these and often when we tried to call reception there was no answer.
Housekeeping knock once and then just walk into room - which is not very nice from privacy point of view.
Noise and music from local nightclub
Pros - Shop just outside for snacks and water. Snack bar is good for sandwiches and drinks but would not buy evening meal from there.
10-12 minute walk to beach and have private beach on main agadir beach.
Taxis outside.
Good breakfast - omelettes great but would be nice to have bread slices to toast.
Would not stay here again - not really worth the nightly price, 3 star hotel at best.

I can say it’s very good hotel you can reach very easily but it’s Internet very poor they need to improve otherwise is very good hotel

Very loud with the night club. Rooms are quite dated

Total bait and switch on the first room. The balcony was inaccessible. Their idea of an ocean view was to put me up against an alleyway. No problem right? It’s just a simple, misunderstanding. Instead they gave me aTotal bait and switch on the 2nd room rm as well.
Instead they gave me a pool view. I paid for the most expensive “superior Seaview“ room. All the staff at the counter became immediately perplexed. Huh, guys. You understand my English and French up until you realized you effed up.
Stuck with a pool view at a “superior Seaview” room rates. Not pleased, because even then it wasn’t a pool view. It was the view of a rooftop of a restaurant and a discotheque with karaoke.
Since they couldn’t do anything thrice over, I simply called Expedia. Thanks Expedia for the $25 credit. That takes care of the first night. How about the second night? What about the next day?
Hotel Argana I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend. Expedia, you have a bit of work to do with the refund

The property is clearly in transition via some strategic renovations. This can be a little disruptive. The staff are unbelievably courteous, attentive and helpful - special mention to Rachida in taking good care of my surroundings for the whole time I was there.
The food quality was below par but acceptable. The noise in the evening took some getting used to.
The car park attendant was amazing despite very limited number of available spaces.
Considering the price and all the positive aspects, this is a little I would return to in the future. I get the sense that it can only get better.
Good work everyone.

The staff made me enjoy Experian’s from the Clearner at the 2nd floor to staff at the Resturant Suvi has the best customer service I’ve seen also Mamoud always asking if we need help and always positive and happy having the hotel 5 star customer service thank you

Nice hotel, good facilities. Bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. You get what you pay for. However, the noise coming from nearby clubs and hotel are very loud till late at night. Not good if youre a light sleeper. Some things has to be paid for though , like the gym and clothes ironing service (cant borrow an iron).

The hotel was nice the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nice, dinner not always great but ok on most nights. Area was very noisy as there is a club right nextdoor. That was probably the biggest downside to the whole thing.
The Beach is not too far away about 5/10 minute walk. Souk Al had is close by so good for shopping.
Most of the people we met were friendly in the local shops and the surrounding area.
I would stay at the Argana hotel again but the noise is very off-putting for me, not my scene.

Staff were great but hotel is not at the standard they deserve to be working in. Meal times are like a plague of locusts as the food disappears. You don’t get the room type you booked and tried to put us in a terrible room to start with (so bad they said they would change the next morning before we even seen it). Third room was okay but not what we booked.

Second visit and thoroughly enjoyed.
Slight mix up with rooms but very well sorted by Adil.
Breakfast service was friendly by Abdol
Room facilities excellent but decor a little tired. Food was mixed mainly good but sometimes poor.
10 mins from beach. Private area with sun bed and umbrellas good
Will visit

The Argana is a lovely hotel. Staff very professional and friendly. The hotel is lovely the reception area is nicely designed around a riad. Food was great. Hotel clean and very nice to spend time around. Although not a resort hotel, you could quite happily spend most of your time just in the hotel. seemed well suited to families, nice friendly, fun and safe feel around the hotel. If you’re purely focused on the room then possibly not the best hotel. The room I had was good, but those with high expectations might be slightly disappointed. Negatives the WiFi is dreadful and the gym was ok but is an extra charge.

Receptionist doesn’t know what they talking about room in no good all you hear loud music all night i wont be going there again

Although they showcase only the suits, when we checked in they placed us in the basic rooms, which are very poor and bad looking, definitely not 4*: no shower head, dirty, missing bulb, AC not working. After highlighting the issue we were upgraded to a family suit (like the ones in the picture) the following morning and those were very good: clean, newly furnished, equipped with all you need such as a nice bed, working AC and a fridge as well. Standard 4* requirements.
Our stay was quite pleasant, The hotel is like a resort equipped with a decent restaurant, pool, shisha place and area full of shops and close to the beach. the only issue encountered was with the shuttle service which arrived 45 minutes, and almost missed our flight. this is not acceptable as it was booked 2 days in advance. Additionally, they were unable to provide alternative transport solutions as time passed and some staff members refusing to book a taxi on our behalf just to save money

Good clean spacious room. Good location .
However few issues. V loud music at night from
Next door pub, and its vvv loud , if you are the one who goes to bed early or have young kids not a place for you.Breakfast good options and tasty food . but needs better management, long queues , not enough cups or glasses have to wait around for them ALWAYS which i v annoying , queues for omelete or pancakes can take upto 30 minutes which is not ideal.
